How to create a family on Windows Vista Edition system repair disc?
I can't find how to on Windows Vista Home Edition to create a startup disk. How can I do this? Thank you!
Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
Read all the info on the website on how to create and use it.

It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.
You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
It is NOT a disc of resettlement.
And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.

How to create an ERD for Windows Vista x 64
I received my Installation CD for x 64-based Windows Vista professional damaged, and my laptop does not have preinstalled recovery option. How do I create a disk repair or the startup disk?
My PC boot upward and the rworks Windows normally but I want a repair disc in case where if I need to repair by using a full Windows, the system image backup.
The best way, install a second hard disk, HD format by opening cmd or start, type: diskmgmt.msc
In msc, R.click on the new HD, create a partition, then format, use the default settings. Once through, out msc
go in run, type: XCOPY C:\*.* D:\/c/h/e/k/r press the button run XCOPY runs automatically, simply agree to
in the DOS window... Once its youre, thru, any user of OS/data/files is now hard disk, it is a bootable
HD... In addition, D: is the new HD letter, if asigned another, then use instead. HDs are fairly inexpensive
These days, get a more than 350-500 GB, you can also, use as a storage HD, once XCOPY is complete
& you've restarted the pc... In addition, you use probably SATA HDs, if its IDE, then place the new HD on the same
IDE cable, set the nearest MB, defined as slave, original master. To learn more, follow this link.

Clean install of Windows Vista Edition family
Due to a Virus, I had to perform a cold install of Windows Vista Edition family. After completion and activation of the software, I received a message that my product is already in use. It was a clean install on the same computer that has more than 3 years.
Hello Steveowe,
It's normal. To activate it, you use telephone activation. It's free in most countries. See this link from my Web site: http://vistasupport.mvps.org/product_key_already_in_use.htm

How to recover the Windows Vista operating system on laptop
I have unix opreating system in my laptop (exhaust). First of all I can get all my documents and application. Secondly, how can I recover my window vista opreating system. Please give me your advice.
* original title - how to get back my window visited opreating system *.
Programs must be reinstalled from the original media: CD, DVD, etc..
Save your data on external hard drive, Flash drive, etc...
Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .
There is no Vista free download legal available.
Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.
Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.
They will tell you how to do this.
Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, Acer, recovery disk/s etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
How ascess the files in my Windows Vista Partition in Windows 7?
How ascess the files in my Windows Vista Partition in Windows 7? I have Windows Vista Partition, I case these files through my Windows 7 partition without logging in there?
Thank you
You should be able to (I'm virtually certain it's possible) If you have the appropriate permissions or property rights in your Vista partition to allow access of the user of Windows7 or users of Windows7. It's the way it works with XP and Vista and I suspect that it is essentially the same thing here. You may need to add the users to the Vista partition/folders/files in Windows7 using regardless of their process (it varies probably Vista so I won't bother posting method Vista to do).
The best thing to do is to follow the advice of Michael Murphy and get help from experts in the Windows7 Forums.
Good luck!
