• 'Unable to Find' OJ Pro 8600 Premium on the wireless network

  Network: Router NetGear 3400, WEP 64-bit + computer Dell laptop + Officejet Pro 8600 Premium N911n, HPC782FE.  Vista 32 - bit OS.  New printer installation, wireless connection to the wireless internet router.  Test results of the wireless network said successful wireless wireless wireless printer installation works, connected, SSID found, the printer settings compatible with the configuration of the wireless router.  Network status says HP Network Configuration page is ready, Active connection Type is wireless, 802.11 Wireless status is connected.

  I can send HPeprint to the computer through the router, and it comes back through the router to the printer when it prints.  But I can't print directly from the computer to the printer, even if the two seem to be connected to the network via the same router.  I'm puzzled.

  When I press the icon on the screen of the printer wireless, it says connected, IP: 192.168.1.105 (I put manually after having read several problem Q & as), with the correct network name and MAC, with a strong signal.  When I click on "I can see that the status is logged on and the intensity of the signal" and then enter the IP 192.168.1.105 and then click Next, the search for a printer "Can't find printer" product and I'm back where I started.  When I jump to the next page and finally get to the HP Print and Scan of doctor, he is unable to identify or fix the problem.

He followed the directions given and when it gets to the last statement, the box is unchecked and highlighted so that you can't do anything to change it anyway. It can connect to other signals, but not our home signal, which we left unsecured while we try to understand this. Help someone? We are open to suggestions here.

  What are the directions have been followed?  What is "the last statement?

  Do you mean the box for "enable authentication IEEE 802. 1 x for this network?  And what do you mean by ' underlined so you can't do anything to change it?  Do you mean that it is grayed out (see this screenshot:http://screenshots.modemhelp.net/screenshots/Windows_XP/Network_Connections/Wireless_Network_Connection/Properties/Wireless_Networks/Properties/Authentication.shtml )?

  Delete the entry for the network entirely and start over:

  1. Open network connections (start > run > ncpa.cpl > OK)
  2. Right click on the wireless adapter icon and select Properties
  3. Click the "Wireless Networks" tab.
  4. In the list of "Preferred networks", look for the entry of your router, select it and click on the button Delete.  While you're here, you can as well delete the entries for other networks that you do not use.
  5. OK your way out
  6. Now, go to view wireless networks or view available networks, find your network and click on connect.

  Follow these steps and check if it solves the problem:

  a. click the wireless in your bar tasks and under related tasks, click Change advanced settings.
  b. now click the wireless networks tab and select the network in the list below. Click properties when you select the wireless network that has issues.
  c. click the Authentication tab and now uncheck 802 authentication. 1 x activate IEEE for this network box.

I am running XP, with upgrade to Office 2010. After installing Windows Live Essentials 2011, it shows I have messenger, but now I can't find a way to get it on my desktop or the taskbar. In msconfig, I show it as a startup program, but I don't see it anywhere. I can go to the C drive and find a folder in Program Files marked Messenger, but it does not help me. I have messenger when I log on Windows Live, but it's the only place where I have. I would like to come back to my office. How can I do?

  The Spot Healing brush is still part of Photoshop. One of them works, so read them all and decide which applies.
