  You should not need to load the tables, you can use the outlineload utility, or ODI, if it is active-EPMA application then the data synchronization.

• Loading flat file in planning in ODI

  I'm trying to load data from a flat file into the planning with ODI. When I create the model planning and try to reverse using the knowledge RKM Hyperion Planning module, I get an error in step 2 of the process: start the reverse.

• Extraction of contour planning with ODI

  I would like to extract the contour of my application of planning with ODI.
  
  When I made the extraction of the essbase, most of the properties of members is differing wrt the properties of planning.
  
  Is it possible to extract the outline directly from planning.

  As I have said that there is no use until 11.1.2.1, anyway use ODI and transform the output of an extraction of essbase outline and transform the property by its exact name.

• How can I esxport / import and delete a form of planning with ODI?

  I am trying to export and import a part of a form of planning with ODI. I am using the OSCommand tool and I lunch the cmd 'FormDefUtil.cmd' file and I pass all the parameters trought the OS command but is foesn can't work. Why?
  
  ODI work in another server where the schedule is installed, but when I try to have lunch at the FormDefUtil with the OsCommand I wrote "\\PlanningServer\C$\Hyperion\Planning\bin" but it still does not work. I ping on the server and everything works, so I don't know why ODI cannot lunch it.
  
  Do you know a method to do? And also, does anyone know how to remove a form of planning with ODI?

  You can install an agent on the planning server by running the standard ODI installation package, you can install custom on it then select only to install the components of the AGENT.

  Once you have created an agent on the other server, you can point to the agent of in the topology Manager.

  You can choose the driver you want dimension and the members you want to load on the other hand, it is the way that is easier for you with the dataset you have.

• Cannot load the metadata in Hyperion Planning with ODI

  I'm trying to load a metadata in Hyperion Planning (11.1.2.3.500) using ODI (11.1.1.7), but does not work, I received an error message, all the records has been rejecteds.

  This is the error message:

• Loading text data of HttpService not show up on TextArea

  I have something strange here I have a little problem, do work. I am loading XML data and try to format a bit more about Actiosncript and print it on the text box. For some reason, it wouldn't appear, although when I use Alert.show it spit the whole xml data set. On this basis, I know my data has been properly loaded, but I do not know why it does not appear on my page.

  Note, there are other elements of the array, but those that are not relevant to the question of the subject here and that's why I'm not post the code for these sections.

  When I click on the view button, it gives me the correct state, but I get an empty of textArea with no data when I know that there is output in the view() Alert.show. What did I miss?

  Thanks for your help.

  My guess is that it's your use of the operator += TextArea.text property. It is a property using a Flex getter and setter rather than having direct access to a string.

  All you have to do is build a string through your loop and set the TextArea.text property so that when you are ready.

• Loading data to Essbase with ODI rules file

  I need to load the flat file DATA (no metadata) or an Oracle table in to ESSBASE using ODI.
  
  Where can I find an example or a tutorial on the loading procedure.
  I have not have how to use ODI with a rules file:
  
  (1) in the standard rule file I can insert a transformation (join, split ecc.) can be used
  a rule like this in ODI file?
  
  (2) if I put the file of IKM SQL for Hyperion Essbase (DATA) rules I have to manually set the mapping
  between the source and target? the mapping is not set in the rule file?
  
  (3) can I use both the type of rules (flat file or SQL) file?

  In ODI, you can do all the transformations, the rule of the load is really used to optimize the process of loading the data.
  You must configure your interface with source and target mapping, and then create a rule to load that corresponds to the mapping of the target.
  You can use any type of source.

• Failed to load dimensions to planning with ODI

  EPMA is also running before. I heard that we can not load dimensions in planning if EPMA running so I stopped the
  Services of EPMA.
  
  I have reverse engineering with planning and able to retrieve the dimensions.
  I traced my source file to the dimensions of planning.
  
  now when I try to load the account dimension members.

  Hello

  First it does not matter if EPMA is running, what you've probably heard is that ODI interacts only with planning applications classic and not EPMA.

  You put the Journal Journal and error in the interface of the IKM options, set up and you should get logs to point to the reason why the files are getting rejected.

  I don't know if 10.1.3.5 is certified with 11.1.2.2, I thought it would probably be at least + 10.1.3.6 and it is usually best to run patches later.

  Common problems of connection with the RMI are due to problems of firewall port, it is also useful to check that the RMI certainly is listening on that port, because commissioning does not always guarantee that it is fully up and running.

• OutlineLoad utility not only loading text or dates in Hyperion Planning

  I tried several times to use the Outlineload utility to load the text and dates in an unsuccessful planning application. I use the Version of EPM: 11.1.2.1. Here are the steps I took:

  1. in EPMA, created a new Member, CommentsText, under the accounts dimension and all its data type 'Text' and then deployed the application.

  2. has created the following source file:

  Pilot Member, value, perspective, loading data Cube name

  CommentsText, go to my comments, here, ' Jan, FY10, USD, real, Final, C101 ", BUD_IS

  While preparing the source file, I made sure all the dimensions were represented by one member at the lower level.

  3. I ran the command below to the DOS command line:

  OutlineLoad S:Localhost A:PLN_GAL /U:admdem / m /I:d:\temp\loadtext5.csv /TR /L:d:\temp\Outlineload-log.log /X:d:\temp\Outlineload-exceptions.exc

  But even if the log indicates that the comments were written, no text is written!

  Two possible problems, I've noticed are:

  1. the logs says: "located and using"OFADataLoadDimension"dimension for the loading of data into the application"PLN_GAL" I don't know what can be the dimension "OFADataLoadDimension."

  2 even if I put the text in EPMA data type, the data type is NUMERIC - NOT TEXT and more once I have deploy the application and check with the console service Regional. This blows my mind. I don't know why this is happening.

  Can someone please help? I tried A to Z for 2 days without success.

  I suppose that you have set the order of evaluation in EPMA - Parameter Data Type evaluation order

  To be honest that I have not used the utility outlineload to load the data when planning is EPMA mode, only in classic mode, in theory, it should work as it isn't metadata and data but not something that I tested.

  We loaded FDMEE data to planning, data has been loaded successfully, but not able to see the data in the Planning Application.

  In the processes log, I can see her mentioned data loaded in the Cube. Please advise on this.

  Two things:

  -I wasn't talking about method you import data but export data. You use the SQL method. Go to target Applications, select your application of planning/essbase, and set load method as a file. Memorize your settings

  -Then export again and review. DAT file in the Outbox folder. Is it empty?

  -You need to add a new dimension to your import format (Dimension add > currency). Then add Local as expression

  -Import, validate and export data
