  With a machine Dell to reinstall Vista, you press F8 at startup.

  CTRL + F11 is to reinstall XP.

  I had accidentally deleted the Qosmio drive partition in my hard drive and now I am unable to install windows on my drive.
  When I try to install windows it shows a blue screen with a memory address and etc.

  I think that the disk partition table is corrupted and I n t have recovery cd with me.

  You are not able to order the recovery for this G20 disc because this laptop model seems to be too old for this service...
  Maybe you would be able to order the recovery of the ASP disk in your country...

  I don't know if the ASP technician would be able to help you but it s definitely a value m to try!

  PS: the Qosmio Player can be downloaded from the European pilot of Toshiba page but you will not be able to download the recovery image... The drive containing the recovery disk must be purchased...

  I just bought a HP Touchsmart 610-1151f used. The seller has removed the hard drive, so I have another one ready to put in.

  I've been more ore less you wonder if I'm allowed to order replacement recovery disks and install it on the hard disk, I put into the system? I am familiar with licensing how to work with HP. If that's not allowed, I could install some programs included once I got my license? I'm only really afraid with the Touchsmart and HP Beats software.

  IIf you order it site Web HP, then you worry about licensing. An operating system OEM that does not require license keys to register. This is a Windows version of pre-rigestered on all HP computers.

• Pavilion p6654y: ordered recovery disks have not shipped, HP incident status page says touch HP

  So, I ordered a new set of recovery disks for my (out of warranty) Pavilion p6654y, I received a confirmation email and a CSO number. For about 2 weeks I got the confirmation of order, but records have not delivered. Also, I checked with my Bank and the money for the purchase has not yet released. I checked HP incident status page to see what was going on and he told me "contact HP". They don't have sent other emails not to mention that the order confirmation, so I'm stuck sort of just ask yourself what's the deal.

  My problem is that I could not find any contact information for this kind of problem, does anyone know how I would go on to contact HP for a problem with an order for recovery disk?

  However during the move into my new house I seem to have lost 1 on the 2 CD that was provided when I bought it.

  The laptop is quite nice sitting doing nothing at the moment that I need to make this recovery, so need to disks as soon as POSSIBLE.

  Each thread reagarding this question says:
  You can order the recovery of the AEP CD in your country.

  This is why I would recommend contacting the local ASP (authorized service provider) too and need to order CD.

  I'm asking for a friend who is not computer savy.  The computer has not been used for about 3 years and she forgot the password.  She did not have a password disk, and she had no recovery disc for the pc at the time of purchase.

  So, based on my research the only way is to reinstall windows.  But I need to buy a recovery disc for the pc.  I didn't was not sure if you buy company discs I know would work.  I have the serial number of the pc.

  Today I have addressed this. If you purchased your Dell printer a retailer like Best Buy (I did), Service tags are already registered... at Best Buy! You must request a transfer of property, which is just ridiculous. Can you imagine if you had to do this for all your purchases? All my bread would be registered at Safeway unless I asked for ownership of each slice.

  Anyway, once you have ownership of the store that you bought your computer to, you should be able to request records. Wrestling: Managed by the warranty, which is not open 24 hours service. I have to wait until tomorrow to see if it works or not - this after 3 times during my call being transferred and have to convince my rep service Yes, I actually had a writable DVD drive in my machine. >:|

  What you can do if you are unable to create recovery disks is to contact your local HP support and ask them to order RCD for you or go to this link below and you can order online.
