  I'm trying to play videos of when my child was a baby. A few precious memories - although taken with a Webcam.

  I am running Windows XP SP 3. Research on the forum here, it seems that the codec has been removed from windows. And unless I pay a company in 20 US dollars more or less, I won't get to see these videos. Sounds like inmate hostage if you ask me!
  They do not seem to exist in a different media player - just what I'm looking for crashes at halfway through (DivX, Real, Nokia, Apple, Windows Media).
  The company who make the codec throw fault purely at the feet of microsoft. (If this is the case, why pay for the download for the older Indeo 5?).

  I have already presented a post once before and received no help whatever it is, so I'll try one last time.  My computer, I cannot play videos at all.  Not only in browsers (and I've tried three now: Firefox, Chrome and Edge.) but also those personal I saved on my hard drive. In addition, that this problem has got worse, I found Itunes crashing more often.  I can't prove a link, but I tend to believe is there.   I had the same problem and it goes back to AdBlock. Once I disabled that, Club Penguin loaded well again.

  Hey, as a wild stab in the dark, I just turned off parental control on my ESET security... and it worked!

  My wife told me last night that she had allowed parental filtering after a wandering search for the play "Wicked" have given some shocking results.   Then when I finally you (Pat) me has helped, I had reinstalled, Flash makes this thread and went to bed.

  Now, it seems that it was simple security questioned. So very weird symptoms. I would have never thought of him if my wife had not mentioned last night. So bad I didn't just try it right away.
