If you try to clear the Gallery, so it will be

will have to fill up again and you may lose some tags.

I can't uninstall w.l.p.g. in Add or remove a program. The window appears and says "unable to find the program that created it. I think I need to remove all Windows Live completely from my computer before I can install the new windows live essentials for xp. Whenever I try to install windows live It fails. the error for which says "hr:0 x 80070643" you have an older version of windows live photo gallery and it cannot be deleted. the version I have is 12.0.1347.0718. I was able to remove the high-end windows live essentials on my computer, but he left behind the photo gallery and Webcam live writer. I can't delete live writer either. Please help thank you P.A.

toolbar of Windows live photo gallery is black
I'm unable to access the bar of buttons for Windows Live Photo Gallery. This problem showed up a couple of days. I have reinstalled Java and Flash. From this morning's seems to have cascaded into other programs such as Yahoo Instant Messenger, since all screens are white and without words.
Just ran MSN Messenger... same thing... black screens without text. Can not yet see the login screen.
Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode. Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode. To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode. Then run a complete system scan.

Finally if all else fails, you can look at the rather cryptic system event log. To do that click on start-> Control Panel-> administration-> event viewer tools. Once in Event Viewer system log-click and scroll entries looking for these "error" with indicator see if you can find guidance on where the problem may be.

I just installed photo library direct windows on a windows xp computer. Everytime I open it it crashes. I get the message "Windows Live Photo Gallery has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. "I tried to reinstall the program. I have the program on another machine and I don't have this problem.

My Windows Live Photo Gallery has been accidentally removed from
(continue from above) to my Vista computer as well as 2 000 images. I found online that I had to load Windows XP Service Pack 2, before I could reinstall/restore my Windows Live Photo Gallery. Why did you download an XP service pack 2 on a Vista computer. Didn't want to screw up more than it already is? Photo Gallery does not store the image files, it just reads the. It's like a DVD player: give him the drive.
Even without Photo Gallery, all your image files is still in your photo folder (or anywhere where you keep your image files).

Photo Gallery Windows and Windows Live Photo Gallery will not open
Windows Photo Gallery does not open. This happened after trying to import images. Photo Gallery does not recognize the old photos so it would import duplicates, so I kept cancelling the process. Now it does not open. The blue circle goes as it will open up and then nothing happens. I downloaded Windows Live Photo Gallery, and it opens either. I have Windows Vista Home Premium version 6. On rare occasions, the gallery will open. What can I do? I read in this forum to rename the file, but it does not work. I did a system restore and that doesn't work anymore. Someone knows what can be done?

One day I can use Windows Live Photo Gallery and the next day I get the above error. I was able to settle this problem once, but I don't remember how or what I did to make it work. He worked for a while then no longer works. Very frustrating because no matter where I look for help online, Microsoft site does not have the permanent solution. I'm running Windows Vita and want to upgrade to Windows 7, but it is not a free upgrade. I reinstalled Windows Live Essentials, I don't know how many times to try to resolve the problem but do not claim.

Trying to open the Windows Live Photo Gallery, I get error code 0 x 80070057. I removed and re installed the program several times but still does not work. But it does not work on my other laptop. I'm on Windows 7 64 bit on all laptops.
FWIW... Windows Live Photo Gallery has a database file
which may be damaged. (uninstalling / reinstalling WLPG)

new database file the next time, it is launched and the Gallery
