  I use Firefox v12 to open a hyperlink to a Web site that points to a door MS Word Document to download.

  Then, we are asked to open the file with MS Word (default), which is our installed version of MS Word 2010.

  Firefox then renames the file by adding a .docx file name for example filename.doc.docx. MS Word 2010 opens with the error "invalid file format", which is correct that Firefox has renamed.

  Is there a fix or a workaround for this?

  You can try to delete the mimeTypes.rdf file in the Firefox profile folder to reset all the actions file.

• Unable to send mail via exchange server with Version 38.0.1 - password problems

  Last week, when my computer desktop auto-upgraded to 38.0.1, he lost the ability to send mail with SMTP. (It always returns an error message saying that the password is not recognized).   Printer connects using Hp and profile for fax set up etc.  But the "HP Web Services" article when enrecorded and hit the Activate button - it does not connect to the site - it seems just to refresh.

  I try to pull up the built-in web server (EWS) by entering the IP address of the printer in a browser and set a static IP & DNS address.

  The information for the default gateway, subnet mask and IP address can be accessed from the Setup menu on the front panel, go to settings > reports > network summary and it will print off the coast.

  Once you entered the IP address in a browser and have the EWS pulled up, go to the tab above titled "Networking". Then click on IPv4 in the left column; who will bring to the top of the address configuration page.  Place the manual radio button and fill in the IP address, the default gateway and the subnet mask with the information from the report. You don't fill the part entitled WINS server, which can be left alone.

  You will then want to fill in the DNS of the page part, the favorite should be set to 8.8.8.8 and the alternative/secondary must be set to 8.8.4.4. Then click 'apply '.

  Power cycle the printer. Turn off the power, wait 30 seconds and then turn it back on. Once it is fully operational, try again to connect to web services.

  Is it possible to send an email on presentation of a form WITHOUT actually sending the data XML/PDF /? In other words, a user fills out a form, click on send and then creates an email thanking them for the presentation of their details.

  I know what you think - what's the point of that? -Well, most of the data in the form that I produce is not necessary just a few pieces of data that I can put fairly easily in the body of the email.

  To go the other way, I can grab the XML of the completed form using xfa.data.saveXML () and then encrypt him, but how I can join the data encrypted for mail out instead of the original XML unencrypted?

• How to send a Microsoft Word document using gmail (instead of Windows Live)? I have Windows 7.

  I have a gmail account - is it important that I have Windows Live?  or should I do somehow gmail my source of electronic mail "by default".

  I believe that if you download and install Mail GMail and GMail warning system can be defined as the default e-mail and you should be able to mail documents directly.

• No noise in Bootcamp with 2013 Mac Pro Windows 10 X 64

  Hi all

  Has anyone else had problems with getting audio playback works fine on a Mac Pro 2013 running 10 X 64 Windows at retail.   I know that the speaker in my Mac works because it works fine on OS X and chimes on boot up but Windows there is not a glance.    I did all the basics such as checking things in Manager devices etc.   All Bootcamp support software are installed but nothing.  I'm a total loss of any any input would be appreciated.

  If some features do not work when you start your Mac in Windows 10, try to reinstall the Boot Camp support software to use Boot Camp Assistant.
