  To my limited knowledge...
  Windows Mail is a Mapi Simple client.
  MS Outlook is a full Mapi client.
  In short, WM cannot do the job. You need Outlook. That's the extent of my 'know-how '.
  Talk to your "so-called" PMB support people. Ask a higher level tech to talk to you.

  PS just a question: I don't know anything about PMB. What is in PMB Launcher that Vista cannot match?

  To better understand the question, please provide the following details

  (a) you are using an e-mail (such as Windows Mail, Outlook) client or Webmail (Live Mail)?

  (b) you are able to send Emails without images?

  (c) you are able to receive Emails without any problem?

  3. how exactly did you did burn the CD?

  4. what program you use to play photo CD?

  In the meantime, try to copy the image files from the CD to your hard drive. Let me know what happens. Also, try to right click on the image file and open it with the Windows Photo Viewer.

  I have not had this problem before. now, I get an error message that says: cannot complete writing files on disk, the cd may be unusable

  CD players and recorders & DVD using an "eye" to focus on the disc.  If plush or a particle of dirt blocking this "eye" so he can't concentrate and it won't work, which gives you an error message as you describe.  Absolutely essential that dirt & lint stuck as much as possible.  Compressed air COULD be able to dislodge the dust or lint, but will not try overboard.  You may need to enter a restorative tear in your office to try to clean the eyes of the camera.  If it's a laptop, the same rules apply.  Just a lot more difficult to open & clean.  Replacement of the CD writer or DVD may be the only option.
