  • Cannot access the internet with WRT54G hung Hughsnet Satellite HN9000 modem

I tried to configure my router to work with my Hughesnet HN9000 satellite modem WRT54G and my desktop tray.  I have a Gateway PC and am using Windows XP. I had worked in the past but came out the router for a few months when my portable wireless is dead. Now, I can not the desktop computer to access the internet with the router in place so I can set it up. The cables are all plugged in right. Cable from the modem to the internet port on the router and the Router 1 port Ethernet cable or 4 for desktop.  I cycled all over and outside. I can access the internet fine if I have the modem connected directly to my computer so I know that I have an internet connection. Hughsnet says it's the router. Because it is out of warranty, I can't get any help from Lynksis. I ran the set up disk Lynksis. I suspect that error messages I receive it has something to do with the IP address. But if I can't access the internet how can I do anything with the IP address of the router?  I'm not very experienced when it comes to the routers and network settings. Anyone has any comments that could help. I should be able to figure it all out if I can get just the router connected to the internet. . Thank you...

Thanks, I found the problem. The Ehernet cable plug was defective. It would work on the Satellite modem, but not the router because of the localities of diffétent and different stress on the card. Changed the cable and everything works fine now.  Thank you.

  • I can't access the internet with any browser without proxyfire

I can't access the internet with any browser, without proxyfire software & internet option checked to see if the proxy server is marked or not. I think I checked everything I know now I will be honerd if someone help me with this problem.

    Hello

    1. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

    2. do you get any error code or error message?

    3. what version of Internet Explorer is installed on your computer?

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

Run the network troubleshooter, and check.

Using the troubleshooter from network in Windows 7:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/using-the-network-troubleshooter-in-Windows-7

    Method 2:

Try the steps in the Microsoft article and check below if the problem persists.

Why can't I connect to the Internet?

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/why-can-t-I-connect-to-the-Internet

    Method 3:

Try the following steps to turn off the Proxy connection and check if it works.

Follow the steps to disable the proxy:

    a. open internet explorer.

    b. click on tools and then click Internet Options.

    c. click on the Connections tab, then click LAN settings.

    d. turn off the server to use a Proxy.

    e. click on apply then Ok to save the changes.

    Hope the information is useful.

  • I can't access the internet with a browser, but I can't...

Ping, tracert, and nsloookup also works. Acrobat Reader was even able to automatic update. I did a clean boot, but still no internet with a browser.

I did several orders (as administrator) command line:

    netsh winsock reset catalog

    netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log

    netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log

I emptied the dns; released and renewed

I also used the System File Checker tool

~ and still I have no internet access with a browser.

I deleted all the programs I have installed around the time that this problem, and I used many tools to help get internet access to a browser, but nothing has worked.

Out of all the home devices that can access the internet, mine is the only one who cannot, both wireless and Ethernet.

    My system features:

    HP P6230F

    AMD Phenom II X 4 810 processor 2.60 GHz

    RAM: 8 GB

Windows 7 Home Premium SP 1

It sounds like a problem with DNS resolution for me, easy enough to fix if that's the problem...

  • BlackBerry Smartphones not able to access the internet with the new carrier

I use a curve 9220. I was using the Vodafone network. But just shifted to Airtel. I inserted the sim card in the handset. Signals come very well. But I'm unable to access the internet even though I subscribed to a prepaid internet pack.  The messege is coming like this:

Navigation via the cellular network is not part of the includedas of your current service plan. To browse the web, you should use the Wi - Fi or contact your service provider to change your service plan.

When went to Airtel site for mobile internet settings, I had something like this:

Your handset does not support live Internet settings. Please refer to the table below to configure the settings manually.

    Name of the parameter
    Account name: Airtel (GPRS)
    User name:
    Password:
    «"" "Home page:»»"» http://live.airtelworld.com
    Proxy: Activated / no
    Proxy address and the server:
    Proxy port and the server:
Data carrier: GPRS or packet data
    Access point name: airtelgprs.com

Only with BlackBerry 10 you can navigate without BIS, with old devices don't.

  • I can't access the internet with IE 11 on my PC so I would like to download Firefox on my laptop and install it on my PC. I have been using Firefox on my laptop.

I use Mozilla Firefox on my laptop and I would like to install it on my PC because Internet Explorer 11 stopped working. I can't access the internet so I downloaded the installer of Firefox on my laptop and saved on my PC. It initializes, but unable to connect to the internet to retrieve the program. How can I work around this problem and install your browser?

Unfortunately, it did not work. I tried downloading earlier and it cannot connect to the internet. I need the program to install. I reset IE 10 as their recommended technical support and I even tried to reinstall, but that no longer works. I'd rather have Firefox

  • Cannot access the internet with bridged network - Windows 7 64 bit host, XPSP3 comments

I use VMPlayer v3.0.1 build-227600 on a PC under Windows 7 64-bit. My guest operating system is Windows XP Professional w/SP3.

I read all the messages on the use of NAT for the guest operating system can access the internet. But when I do that my guest is unable to access my Oracle server on my network. If I use Bridged my guest can access my Oracle server, but it cannot access the internet! How can I fix it? Shouldn't VMPlayer allow the guest OS to access the network and the internet? I need these two features.

    Any help would be appreciated.

the simplest solution would be to add a second NIC to your comments, so that you can have bridged and NAT at the same time

  • Qosmio X 505-Q892 - some programs cannot access the Internet

    As the title says I have a Qosmio X 505 - Q892.

The confusion is I can log on Mozilla Firefox/IE and even play MMO RPG very well as well as newspapers in Ventrilo and Skype but when I go to use any other program such as Windows Live Messenger, or to download and install of new programs/updates such as the NET. Framework v4.0 or even an older version of Windows Live Messenger or attempt to use hyperlinks in an installed version of Microsoft Excel 2010, I get an error message saying that I am not connected to the Internet when I'm clearly.

Are passed by CMD and type in ipconfig/release expected 60 seconds and type ipconfig / renew and tried installation/connection to top programs and receive the same error message. Everything else works fine, otherwise I wouldn't be able to type on this issue. Now, I honestly don't know where to start to look for any information or if it just a coincidence that 3 or 4 different programs keep telling me I'm not connected to the internet when I am clearly, then by the process of elimination or whatever it is you want to call it, I decided it would be my best bet on a place to find some kind of help on this.

In the case where there is no other curiosities that I know he has no impact on what will be and won't be not and technical troubleshooting changes, so I have a Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit SP1, the connection that I use is strong enough to bear 5 laptops, an Xbox 360 and PS3 at the same time, but also don't ever have connection problems unless there is a storm.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated as this is apparently beyond what I can fix on my own.

    Hi Dvx,

To be honest it's a very strange problem, and especially on this virtual path (forum) it's not easy to say what to do in this case. I put t understand why you can access the Internet with programs such as Firefox and other programs not

Only thing I could imagine, is that your firewall is blocking certain programs. This would explain why some programs work and other programs not. So please check your firewall / security software configuration so all programs have access to Internet.

Otherwise, it would be interesting to know whether or not you use the preinstalled operating system from Toshiba and since when did you notice the problem.

  • my daughter could not get on the internet with her while I - Max in my house, why not?

My daughter could not access the internet with your computer during your visit.  She has an I-Max Pro.  I have a laptop.  We recently changed from Comcast to Att and wonder if that creates a problem... I was also unable to get on the internet with a Kindle Fire.

    Hello

You must check with the help of the manufacturer of your router, their documentation online.
and ask in their forums. Most have excellent online help. Your ISP should also be
    able to provide assistance.

Other resources would be iMac and Kindle Support and Forums.

    iMac - Support

    Kindle - Support
    http://www.Amazon.com/GP/help/customer/display.html?nodeID=200127470

    Really not a Windows issues.

    I hope this helps.

  • internal hosts cannot access the internet w / L2L configured tunnel

The internal hosts behind the ASA cannot access the internet with a configured tunnel to L2L. The L2L tunnel is mounted and passing traffic correctly. However, the internal host cannot access the internet through the ASA. I think I have my NAT watered somewhere. I can't even a host statically mapped to the internet. It might be because I'm used to having a WAN IP to the external interface which differs by the CIDR block assigned by the ISP. In this case, it's all together, with the ASA outside interface occupying the first available address.

We have been assigned a CIDR range x.x.x.64/28. x.x.x.65 is my front door and my first usable est.68, by the PSI (I guess what they utilisent.66 et.67 for internal use). External interface of the ASA est.68 and I'm trying to get NAT others. I'm Polo all DHCP clients internal and have some static entries as well. Below is the relevant NAT config. Yet once, all traffic passes above the tunnel properly, but not from inside to outside. If more information is needed, please advise.

Do you receive kb from the internet source or is it local only, and when trying to access the page host does upward with the site not found or 404 error, have you tried to repair the connection, it could be your antivirus protection is blocking the signal.

  • Vista can communicate with the wireless router, but cannot access the internet

I have a SONY Vaio with Vista.  Until recently, it worked fine with an old router Netgear wireless with no encryption.  I replaced the router with a Linksys E1200 and set up for WPA/WPA2 encryption.  My iPod, iPad, an HP printer and laptop running Windows 7 quite change with absolutely no problem.  After entering the SSID and password on the Vaio, it connects to the router but will not access the Internet.  I tried to reset the router and cable modem, without success.  Suggestions before you start the laptop across the room and rid my life of the bane of Vista forever?

    Hello

    ·         What is the antivirus installed on the computer program?

    Let's try the following methods.

Method 1: Temporarily disable the antivirus on the computer program and check if the problem persists. If no problem occurs, then you need to firewall settings in the security software.

Note:  Check that you activate your anti-virus protection on the computer back after you complete these steps. It is not recommended to disable these settings on the computer. It's just to solve the problem.

    Disable the anti-virus software

Method 2: Follow the steps in the article mentioned below.
