  I'm trying to uninstall HP ProtectTools Security Manager because it is a prerequisite for the installation of Windows 10.  However, try to uninstall through Control Panel > programs and features, I receive the following error message:

  It will its weird, but it actually has a really simple solution. Go to Device Manager and disable your DVD player. Then run the uninstall, and avoid the error. You can reactivate later without any problems.

  I need to create a custom provider that allows connections to a data source.

  I followed this tutorial

  I posted something similar in the HRMS forum, but after more thought, I think it's better done on this forum.
  
  Based on your experience you don't know if it's possible for a custom security profile HR use the assignment level security when it is used to report data through discoverer. Currently I am able to get my custom security profile to limit the data returned in Discoverer to a particular level, but if a person has more than 1 active, both are returned, when only 1 award is actually on my terms. I went from back to basics and you can see that this problem is still there even when I set the following simple condition in the custom security profile:
  
  ASSIGNMENT.assignment_id = '14444'
  
  With the above in place, 2 assignments for this person are always returned. I also tried checking the 'Restrict on individual assignments' option without a bit of luck. When HR above security profile is assigned a responsibility, which calls the form people & assignments, only the one active assignment is returned which is correct. Therefore, it must be something related to discoverer, my custom used views etc...

  Update-> I think I have found the problem.

  The point of view PER_ASSIGNMENTS_F, making our discoverer HR report are based on, does not include security at the level of assignments (Note ID 419357.1). You can work around this problem either manually apply security (by using HR_SECURITY. SHOW_RECORD with the appropriate setting to indicate the level of transfer security to be used) or by using the view (exit Family Pack K) PER_ASSIGNMENTS_F2.

  The only differences between the 2 views are shown below:

  Can you please help me with HP ProtectTools Security Manager removal? (HP ProBook 4530 s)

  Reasons: / slow startup of Windows and connection / loading extremely slow/cannot delete user password / blocking some security access (I m admin, then why is this?)

  I tried to uninstall it via the Windows Control Panel, software provided by side and also uninstall-next steps found somewhere in the forums. All these methods (3) with no result... Nothing works.

  Ok. So I got a new laptop that has a fingerprint sensor. I opened the Recovery Manager and see that there are TWO pieces of software that need to be installed/reinstalled.
  (1) the validity of the pilot sensor of fingerprint in the drivers section.
  (2) the SimplePass software in the software section.
  
  Most of the drivers and software in the Recovery Manager do not need to be uninstalled first - the installation package should do this automatically.
  
  If you have not already done so, install the driver of validity using Recovery Manager and restart your computer.

  Ok. Now you have uninstalled Norton from your machine and trying to install new Anti virus and you receive this error message.

  Think that everything related to the Cyber defender in Add or remove programs? tell the toolbar associated with it or any tool update direct links?

  Make sure you delete it and try to install the new AV.

• Computer hangs after you have uninstalled Norton Internet Security Suite

  I recently uninstalled Norton Security suite (it's too intrusive) and installed Microsoft Security Essentials.  Since then, the machine hangs with a black screen if it's for more than 30 minutes.  I tried to restore to a previous restore point, but the machine to restore to the previous point (I also tried in safe mode).  I went to the site of Norton and their uninstall program to ensure that all of the Norton was out of my machine.  Also, the machine will now not install the automatic updates from Microsoft (I have 4 in the meantime), even if I try manually.

  So I recently bought the same F - secure Internet Security 2011 with the same provider. And it comes with a different product key.

  And I procceed to download and install internet security program. Thinking that the new will replace the old.

  Until the new program can complete the installation. It displays an error message that I produced security conficlting. The message also invite me to manually uninstall security product. I have no other security product.

  And old outdated F-secure internet security is still in the program file.

  I try to uninstall it, but I can't find to uninstall/change in Control Panel. I try to remove it without success.

  I ask for the support of the seller for help but does not.

  Everything they say is to seek security conficting product.

  They asked me: 'if I have Microsoft Security Essential? No, I'm not. »

  What I have to reformat the drive to clean it?

  I'm sorry that the installer UN has not worked for you.  It was suggested by a list online and instrument Specifies uninstallation of security programs that I recommend regularly, but things change over time.  Unfortunately, websites don't always keep current.
