Work/uninstall Microsoft Livecam HD-5000 problems
Hello. I bought my Livecam HD-5000, a year or 2 ago and I had no problems with it what so ever. I installed it on my PC game right when I built my computer in November 2013. He has worked since then, and it was awesome. I am currently running a 128GB Samsung 840 Pro as my main drive (C) and its operation VERY low on space. As now I have 10 GB free on my C drive... big problem. Honestly, I don't know how to solve this problem, because whenever I install programs I'd always safe to install on my E drive which is my 1 TB drive.
in any case, is that everything recently that I was running out of space (as in the last 6 months). Immediately, I tried to change as part of my temp files would go in redirecting them so that they are out of my SSD on my TB to try to save space, im not sure if that screwed with it. But in any case, since my Lifecam HD-5000 just would not work. Whenever I opened my Microsoft Livecam program, I'd get a "There is no camera connected to this computer..." I tried looking for answers, and I tried all the troubleshooting options. I changed my USB hubs, 3.0 I tried, tried 2.0, made sure my registration of regedit, and nothing worked. I uninstalled Microsoft Livecam program about 2 months ago and reinstalled. Still nothing. Camera turns on, but it is not detected in the program Microsoft Livecam.
I thought: 'maybe it's just the program' so I downloaded a program of webcam and tried using them to create a video, and of course, in this program my camera has not been detected. Again, I tried another program, a program that I normally use when making videos, 8 Studios of Camtasia and of course I get no picture of my camera, BUT its recognition and the blue light on my webcam is enabled as it should be. But when I go to start recording I get the error "an unexpected error has occurred. Capture cannot be started. ' Cool.
So I decided to come back, uninstall Microsoft Livecam AGAIN. Now, which is what im. BUT now when I go to uninstall Microsoft Livecam, its stuck at "Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft LiveCam" and its setting as 25% and a window just pops up saying "Service"MSCamSvc"(MSCamSVc) could not be stopped. Make sure you have sufficient privileges to stop system services. "... and I clicked on 'Retry', and he keeps all try and come up with the same box.
HELP PLEASE!
CY
The question is when trying to install the driver the installation program can't stop web cam service. Two things you can try. First run the installer as administrator, then try to install it (even once, run the installer as administrator) in safe mode when the service of the camera does not work
If the driver is older than win 7, you can also run it in compatibility mode (see figure)
To run as admin (and compatibility) right click on the installer > properties > compatibility > check run as admin compatibility mode)

Hello
It is a simple generic error message that you will always see when the programs or applications crash.
Something was wrong, but I can't tell what's wrong with your MS works.
If you want the event viewer for errors, but to be honest, you can check this will not help you much if you're not computer.I gogoled a little and some people brought on the same error in MS Word, but like I said above; This is a generic error message.
However, the people have this problem than by the new installation of MS Works.
I don't know if you received a MS Works Mr. disc if so, remove/uninstall the MS Works the system first, reboot the laptop and use the MS Works drive for new installation. -

I can see "Microsoft" works in the start menu, click to open it and it flashes a 10th of a second and does nothing. I ran any verification system I can think, 'Works' has never worked. I thought that if I could somehow down support just part of Vista, I might be able to solve the problem. I ran everuy checking the available system. It said disc error on fault of 2 trials of 4. I took all the Norton files because some time ago I figured that it was where the damage came. I decided to buy another brand. I don't know if it makes a difference, but I seem to lose something as a % of my 'C' driver ability every day, sometimes even more often. Every thing looks good from what I can tell.
Hi jenniferatemple,
Thank you for using the Microsoft Answers forum. I suggest that you repair the installation. Click Start (Orb)--> Panel--> programs and features--> uninstall. Click Microsoft Works and select Repair.

DEP guard closing Microsoft works word processor when I try to copy and paste stuff online, trusted sources. I tried to do what the instructions say and stop DEP to make working with Microsoft word, but it still does not work. Help!

http://blogs.msdn.com/ieinternals/archive/2009/10/10/understanding-data-execution-prevention-crashes-in-IE8.aspxThe problem might actually be an add-on or another program to the origin of the problem and you should check that
1st.What antivirus/antispyware/security products do you have on the machine? Be one you have NEVER on it
machines, including those that you have uninstalled (they leave leftovers behind which can cause strange problems).Start - all programs - Accessores - system tools - IE with no Addons - does this work better?
IE - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - tab click on restore, and then click Reset - apply / OK
IE - Tools - Internet Options - Security - reset all Zones by default level - apply / OK
not better?
Close IE and try again IE or IE with no Addons
IE - tools - manage Addons (for sure disable SSV2 if it is there, it is no longer necessary but Java always install

http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/79612-startup-programs-enable-disable.htmlAlso get Malwarebytes - free - use as scanner only. If you ever suspect malware, and it would be
unusual with Prevx market except for an occasional cookie of low level (not a big deal), update it, then
run as a scanner.I would add prevx so.
Prevx - Home - small, fast, exceptional CLOUD free protection, working with other security programs. It comes
a scan only, VERY EFFICIENT, if it finds something to come back here or use Google to see how to remove.

Installation of Microsoft Works 9.0
I have years of files revenue and expense of database Works dating back to 2005. Now I get this new laptop and I find that I can't use my Microsoft Works version 9.0 to access older files or continue with new ones. I have Microsoft Works 9.0 CD drive I bought about 5 years when I had to upgrade to Windows 7. This new laptop is not a CD player. I have Win 7 installation disc. If I have 10 to uninstall and install 7 Microsft Works will be usable? How do I install it without a CD player? Alan
There have been mixed reports here on Works 9.0 compatibility with Windows 10. Some were able to install and run and others have had problems. In order to try the installation you will need an external USB optical drive. My advice to you is to migrate your files to a less volatile format. Sooner or later, and probably sooner, your files of works will be unavailable. There is a converter available that can read and save works files in Microsoft Office, but I don't know about its general compatibility with versions of Windows and Office.

Microsoft Works 9 is in charge is no longer
My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Microsoft Works 9 (preinstalled on the pc) will load is no longer and I can not access saved Documents. Momentarily, it starts to load, but it stops after a preview of the product code box. This sign appears: "microphone. Works cannot access one or more files it needs to run. The files may have been renamed, deleted, or moved. Try to reinstall Mr. Wks. and then to leave." This problem seems to have started after running CCleaner and him to remove some registry files. They have now been resettled and I did a restore of the system without good result. I think that Mr. Works is no longer available as a download in order to want not to uninstall that I don't have the product key. If this can help.
If I try the work of Mr. repair programs I get this Windows Installer message: "the component you are trying to use is on a network that is not available. Click OK to try again or enter another path to the folder containing the installation package Works9.msi"if I select the change as an alternative to repair, I get"Error 1719 - Windows Installer Service could not be accessed.
I also had problems being impossible to uninstall some programs.
Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.
You need the original installation CD to restore deleted CCleaner files. If you do not have the CD more, you will need to contact the company who sold it and ask if they can send you a replacement. Dell provides free replacements, but other companies may vary.
PS. never use 'clean up programs', never. They are causing problems. If your computer has performance issues, see here to correct without using other programs.
