I managed to uninstall my acrobat pro, but my adobe application manager seems to think that I still have it. I do not see how to download it from adobe and re install. Can anyone help? I spent many hours trying to get my creative cloud version to run after the license of first years has failed. It was a bit of a nightmare and sie Adobe is not easy to get help from.

I spent a few hours trying to untangle a redemption code. I dropped so uninstalled acrobat, because he is no longer works apparently.  I managed to find out how to buy a new redemption code for creative cloud through the Institute where I exposed, but now I can't get a download for my acrobat, one that will work on my macbook pro 2010 running 10.6.8

Navigation in the adobe site was not easy and not very impressed in terms of achieving support for the problems and responses so far. Only no reply emails usually that means logging in time and time again.

Thanks to all of you who tried to help him. I thank can I have managed to sort it out.  It seems that I can not have uninstalled initially, but I could not access the program and all my pdfs, opens in preview.  I found another uninstall program that seems to have done the trick as my adobe application manager is now let me download.

I hope it will do the trick and my thanks to all who responded. Bravo guys. I hope that I won't make the same mistake next year ;-)

  • Uninstall of Acrobat Pro XI 11.0.07 breaks licenses?

    Hey guys,.

Trying to do some troubleshooting on the kind of a strange question.

I work with a volume of Acrobat Pro XI license, and when 11.0.07 came out, I went and pushed out, first uninstall all previous instances.

He was able to install without any problems, but just to be sure everything would work out later, I tried an uninstall.

Once uninstalled 11.0.07, I tried to reinstall it with the same serial number used for the installation.

However, after installation, trying to open Acrobat.exe, it empties into a loop of opening and closing.

With Task Manager open, it seems PDApp.exe tries to run adobe_licutil.exe for licenses, but it continues to crash or reached a service that isn't reachable.

Through the Customization Wizard, because he was such a business environment, we have disabled EULA and registration, which was not a problem until 11.0.07.

I tried to reinstall PDApp, which did not help. I also used the REINSTALLMODE = PE and IGNOREVC10RT = 1 the switches, which do not seem to do anything either.

    Suggestions?

Nice, I'll certainly check this toolkit, looks quite useful.

Here is my translation of powershell in case anyone else is reading this thread:

To run from a file batch (if you're like me and have no PKI installation in SCCM for signed powershell code) save the above as Fix - AdobeAcrobatUpdateRegistration.ps1 with a batch file to:

    cmd.exe /c powershell.exe - ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted - file Fix - AdobeAcrobatUpdateRegistration.ps1

Disable 64-bit redirection to get the correct registry keys.

  • uninstall of acrobat pro 8.1 on win 10 did not finish.  need help

my 10 windows crashed and had to reinstall Win 10 from scratch.  Lost all my applications.  Have a lic for acrobat 8 pro and cs4.  do not do anything with cs4 yet.  made what appeared to be a successful installation of pro 8, but it wouldn't start.  He suggested that I try uninstall/reinstall.  uninstall will not end.  I tried not to make a stop in the Task Manager process again.  If anyone can help.

On the right track.  I used a copy of Revo Uninstaller and it worked.   Thanks to all who helped.

  • Acrobat Pro freezes completely, so I need to force her to leave

I hope I'm posting in the right place.  Please let me know if I should spend it.  I'm so desperate - I have tried everything I can think and hope that someone has another idea, I can try.

I use Acrobat Pro.  When the problem started, I used Pro X.  I tried upgrading to the test XI Acrobat to see if that fixes the problem, but it didn't.  I don't care which I use as long as it works.

The program starts, but I can't click on any one of the choices on the 'splash' screen (where you can choose to open a recent file or select a task).  When I drive on the choice I see the overthrow of highlight, but nothing happens when I click.  I can open a file in the FILE menu, but when I do I can't do anything with it.  None of the tools on the toolbar window works.  Then everything crashes and I have to force quit to close the program.

I'm on a Mac under OS Mountain Lion X 10.8.5 with a 3.2 GHz Intel Cose i3 processor and 12 GB DDR3 memory at 1333 MHz.  When the problem started, I used Lion 10.7.5, so I tried the update to Mountain Lion, but it does not solve the problem.

    Here is what I tried:

    > Uninstall and then reinstall Acrobat X Pro repeatedly

    > Install, uninstall, reinstall Acrobat Pro XI

    > Installation in Safe Mode

    > Uninstalling all other Adobe products I got (after effects Trial, inDesign 5, Adobe Reader)

I also tried different things, I found in the Forums - as long as I do not remember now.  We had to do with moving some preference files and opening the program again, one was the fix for a problem of conflict CS6.

When the problem started first, I discovered that my Time Machine backup was not working because my backup disk was full and Time Machine was not delete older backups.  I didn't have a recent backup so I didn't want to do a system restore to before the problem.  I got a new external drive of 4 TB for Time Machine and got a 3 TB external drive to clear a bunch of large documents on my main hard drive.

I'm willing to try anything.  Help, please!

Well, after two weeks of pulling my hair I finally thought to it last night!  The problem was a bad mouse driver.  I use a mouse move (which I LOVE) but it is an older model and I guess that the update of OX 10.7.4 to 10.7.5 punt just driver incompatibility.  I have tested the mouse a week or two ago and my Mac wireless mouse worked but does not solve the problem because when I did the test I actually didn't unplug the mouse move.  Once I did that last night and used only in the Mac wireless mouse, Acrobat returned to work correctly.

I just ordered the latest change mouse that is compatible with OS X.  I can't wait until he comes tomorrow!

Thanks to all those who, looking at this issue and I tried to think of a solution.

I could not uninstall Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro since my Win10 since the upgrade (previously worked on Win7, it includes Adobe does not support Acrobat 9 Pro on Win10)

I tried both the process of uninstalling Windows AND using the original CD I have installed since.  The experience is the same:

    MSI begins-> select 'Delete'-> next-> Remove

-Pop-up error: error 1500. Another installation is in progress.  You must complete this setup before the character of it.

There is NO other installation or uninstallation running.  You want to know how to bypass this error and get this product uninstalled from my laptop.  It is now unusable and take too much space.

    Hi brets49833316,

If you have purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro DC as an upgrade, then a serial number of the previous version which you have like Acrobat X or XI. If in the case where you have not bought one of these in the past, then you must buy Acrobat Pro DC as full version (US $449.00).

In this scenario, you can return the version upgrade and purchase the full version. To return the Contact Customer Service
