My problem is, after you have installed the following Creative adobe CS5, I get a window telling me that I need to install "Legacy Java SE6 Runtime." When I try to do, I get a window saying that I already have one more late Java installed and therefore impossible to install an earlier version. I am not sure what version I have on the system. I'm guessing this will be the last. So, I clearly need to uninstall the latest version of Java in order to install Java 6. Could someone advise please on how to do this successfully.   So I've narrowed it down so it's most likely a problem with javascript. Before, I never knew that java and javascript have nothing to do with each other. With this knowledge, I found that javascript is linked to your browser itself. Theres no way of javascript itself to uninstall and reinstall to fix the problem. I already tried to uninstall/reinstall firefox so either something went seriously wrong or I somehow had no thought for the guilty again, and whereas I ruined my brain and couldn't think of anything else before formatting my computer, I was at a loss.

But if it is why firefox itself wasn't there a storm of protest from the internet? Certainly, I couldn't be the only one to get screwed.

  Then it dawned on me. I wonder if my router would block javascript somehow. Sure enough there was something called "filter applets java" which is the erroneous mention since its not java but javascript. Unchecked and suddenly everything is all better! I don't know how this started, but I was out, trying to figure out this stupid thing = P

  So if someone else never falls by chance on this thread with a similar problem, check your router, it might be screwing you over and you would never realize. Apparently, it has developed before and people have reformatted trying to fix only to discover later that the router was the question. Thank God it is not come to this!

  This problem may be caused by a corrupt installation of Visual C++ or incomplete (several versions can be installed-by-side; SxS) it lacks certain runtime components (redistributable Packages), which depends on Firefox (problem with an embedded manifest file that specifies a specific runtime version).

  The driver for any optical drive is provided by Windows, then you should just connect the new device, but it can sometimes avoid problems by doing this as follows.

  Hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run box, type devmgmt.msc and press ENTER.  Expand the DVD/CD = ROM readers, made existing right click the device and choose uninstall.

  Once completed, stop the laptop and made the new optical drive.

  When you start Windows, then, give it a few minutes to load completely and you should find the new drive is running.

  Applications, (Norton and McAfee) are notorious for not not upgrade (or uninstalling) itself. (No, Symantec Support never say this.) See if the following solves your problems:

  1. download the Norton Removal Tool, save it to your desktop: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe

  2. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the taskbar).

  3. After completing some you have a copy of your handy product key, uninstall all Norton software (including LiveUpdate and everything Norton Add ons) via Control Panel | Programs | Uninstall a program (or Control Panel |) Programs and features, if you are using the classic view).

  6. Delete files and folders in Program Files and Program Files (x 86) related to the OR.  Don't forget OR downloads, that could be at the root of C:.
  7. Reset.
  8. Start installing, oldest in the first place, the latest device drivers.  I usually install a Version (without its associated device drivers), restart, install the device drivers that are suitable for my hardware and the Version installed, reboot, set default values of LabVIEW (activation of TCP/IP, adjustment of block diagrams as I like, etc.), restart, and then make the next Version, repeat these steps.
  9. When all Versions of LabVIEW, you want to run are installed, install VIPM and the packages you want for each of the installed Versions of LabVIEW.
  10. Drink a glass of wine--you've won!

  start-up... Being on board, System Restore should work. If the restoration is not an option,

  then click on run, type: services.msc services.msc in msc, scroll down to the double line audio-mfg

  Click the 'auto start' value the service starts, exit. Then, scroll down to windows audio,

  do the same as above, when to exit.

  Did you uninstall normal Windows XP or Windows Embedded Standard?

  If you have removed Windows Embedded and normal Windows XP still installed, you can use FIXMBR and FIXBOOT from the Recovery Console to restore the boot loader.
