• Street and trips 2010 bugs are not able to search through the universal search bar?

  When I type the location of the Pushpins on the universal search bar, that it flashes and no results. BUT if I do a ctrl + f and select tab "place / data", and then type the location of bug it appears. I'm willing to type in the universal search bar and get to my place of Pushpins. • Pre restores the number of letters in the universal search

  When you enter numbers in the universal search, pressing the space bar converts them to the corresponding letter.  Is this a bug in the update.

  As soon as you press the SPACEBAR after the numbers, i.e. Enter "123 main st", it converts to the 'ert' and your search ends up being "ert main st.

  UiAction is used for this.  However, UiAction is not available in the current version 6.0 of BlackBerry Java SDK.  This will be fixed in a next version.

  At first I could just type a name from the home screen and it sought contacts, dial and press Green call button.

  Try this: go to Options. Type 'search' in the search bar. You should get the search options allowing you to choose what is sought when using universal search.

  Welcome to the Palm Forums. To do this, you can go to the preferences of any Type by typing anything in a 'Just Type' search, scroll to the bottom of all the options of any Type and select Preferences.

  From there, just find the item that you want to remove and it slide off the screen. Don't forget to press the 'delete' key to confirm your deletion or just blow-of-remove one other item to automatically check the prior deletion.

• Search files that are never with Spotlight

  I recently consolidated three hard drives, and I now have to buy an even bigger because the 3 TB external hard drive I use now is full, completely filled (volume: 3,000,592,977,920;) Used space: 3,000,592,977,920).   Not sure what you mean. I have three external HD connected to one of my iMac and Spotlight indexed all three.

  Search folders are just links to the underlying files. If you delete a file in a search folder, it has the same effect as delete the file itself. You can delete records if you wish.

  Use the wildcards * and?

  * means 'everything' or 'all '.

  ? means 'any character a' then? We hear every two characters and so on.

  So * $*. * would find all the names of file with a $ in the name with any extension.

  ?$*.? XE'd find filenames with characters 1 or not before the $ and with the
  extensions that contain characters 1 or not before a xe as .axe, .3xe or just in. XE.
