Hey, Idris,.

It seems to me that your battery is not detected.

I have a quick question for you.

What is the operating system on your laptop. (windows 7 64 or 32)

I have a couple of updates that we can run as soon as I get the version of the operating system. THX

  • The unknown battery

Today I found an unknown battery drain just after I loaded my phone to 100%. I didn't use it at all, but the battery has fallen by 5%. Here is a screenshot

Is there something wrong with my phone? How to prevent this from happening again? For more information, I used my phone for two months.

As I see it, it's the network signal that caused it.

  • Unknown battery - not charging on Satellite P300D-11U

    HI -.

    I have a Satellite P300D-11U

I have now bought 3 xtra different batteries. None of them will work - labtop doesn't recogninze any of them.
Only the original supplied with the computer. When activated, it says Remaning time battery unknown / undetermined
If I plug the power supply cord, it is said:
No battery found, no charging current.

Each shop/manufactor said it is a BIOS problem. That the BIOS cannot communicate with the battery.
I installed the latest version of BIOS on 20 August 2008, no change - still the same.

Is there a new current BIOS, or other solutions?

    Sincerely, Bryan

Hmmm I have a U400 and the battery has been recognized after the BIOS update.
Maybe it s not a BIOS issue but simply your battery or motherboard is not allowed.

    The warranty is valid?
If Yes, you shouldn't t waste time and should contact the ASP in your country for a control of the laptop. The guarantee must cover everything!

    Good luck

    Hello

Have you tried to test the battery from the HP Support Assistant utility?

In addition, download, run the utility ofthis autonomous battery test - check if it fails.

Battery if you're under warranty free of charge.

    Contact HP.

I bought a Yoga 2 830-F about two weeks ago and its all working fine except for the fact of battery health is "unknown". As I said, I have not noticed any problems still, but it's a bit of concern. Should I worry about this or my tablet will be good?

Even on the companion. Can confirm the power of my Tablet fine works.

  • Satellite L500-1GE - unknown battery in Device Manager

    Hello.

I have a problem with the battery driver. I am using Microsoft Windows XP Professional. Displays battery 2 Device Manager x (unknow devices!). Anyone have the same problem?

I'm waiting for responses. I'm greeting everyone. Sorry for my English

    Hello

There is no battery driver do you mean. It of a part of Windows, and you don t need to change anything on this subject.

So please check again in Device Manager. What devices tell you exactly? Have you already checked the vendor and device ID?

Maybe you should try to remove both entries and reboot the laptop. After that, the drivers should be installed automatically.

  • AT300 - battery / load the related question

    Hi all

May I ask your help with a battery / load the related question

I used my AT300 a few weeks back and I forgot to turn if off battery voltage flat then, so the next day, plugged the charger, but the loading icon does not appear on the screen.

Sort left connected to work, but after 8 hours always toll-free, I'll start when plugged into the charger but dies as soon as it s disconnected.

I thought that I may have killed the battery I found some people saying that if they are allowed to carry out completely so that they will not return to the top.

So has his hand on another battery but same thing, the guy then a charged battery for me and I got him and started toward the top of a stack, but there is a red exclamation mark on the battery icon and the unit will still not take a charge

If I plug the charger in the icon changes to show that there main power, if I look at the setting and go to the battery it says 0% unknown battery

So I am at a loss and hope that some of you may have encountered this and have an idea how to solve this problem

    Thank you very much

Hmm kinda sounds like some hardware issue about...
To be honest, this is the first time that someone has reported these problems here in the forum.

But have you ever tried to reset the default Tablet?
Press and hold the power button / stop and the volume up button.
Now the recovery menu appears providing different option. One of the option should allow you to reset the tablet.
To navigate between options, use the volume up/down button.

I hope that affecting the default tablet would help you to fix it otherwise, it seems to be hardware related issue.

  • Satellite Pro A40 showing that it's on the battery while the sector is plugged

    Hello

My A40 is plugged completely happy and light on the front is to prove her it's ok. However Windows shows it as being a battery which stop making me update SP2 etc.

Toshiba Power saver software shows the same. The battery meter displays a full icon but reported as unknown battery life.

    Any ideas.

    Hello

first of all make sure that power management is enabled in the BIOS settings and is controlled by the operating system. (ACPI/APM settings) I don't know if you can disable this feature by accident on your model of laptop or if there is an entry at all on the power management, nut in the case where there is, it switches ON.

There can also be some related motherboard driver that is missing or messed up (misinterpreted) Windows. You can check first, if there is a conflict with the settings in the device associated with the devices in System Manager. If there is a yellow sign next to one of these devices, you will need to address this issue by the resettlement of some drivers.

Alternatively, you can save all of your work from your laptop and reinstall the laptop recovery CD. More than 70 percent of the pilot, the problems, it's easier healing.

Whatever the result will be, please be so kind and come back to share your findings for future reference and assistance.

  • Re: Satellite L25-S1217 don't angrrr battery

My laptop does not seem to charge the battery.
    I have a L25-S1217.

Under the electricity meter, he tells me unknown battery. The problem started when I sent it repaired because the backlight blew. I also had the battery replaced due to reduced life expectancy.

The problem would be the bad battery or the tech made a mistake could someone? Please help me

If you didn t have the problem before you send it in for repair, you must contact the partner of service again.
They should check your laptop again because I think they have made a mistake.

The reason could be the battery or the motherboard, but this should be verified by a technician for laptop.

  • HP 13-3080ez spectrum - hip does not support

    Hello

I have a 2 weeks old spectrum HP 13-3080ez, Windows 8, 64-bit. Since yesterday I have a problem with loading, means, battery is empty but will not charge.

I tried all the common things that you can find in the internet, but I'm still strugglin with the part "remove battery" because the spectrum built in battery.

    Facts

-Battery is new (max 3 - 4 times loaded)

-Laptop works fine with AC plugged addapter

-If I run the battery from the HP software check, it says "unknown battery" followed by an "45replace" exception but I can't somehow believe that the battery is already default

    -J' did all possible updates

-J' also did a BIOS update to the current version

    Any ideas? Thanks for help.

HI re-cyber. It doesn't sound like you need to contact support to replace your battery. The documents you see referring to a hard reset and remove the battery, of course only applies to products with removable batteries. If you want to make sure that you have completed all the steps (which I believe you have) you can view this document.

I sent a few requests to Areca for support and they came back today teach me update me my drivers of vmware and has reported me on its Web site.  The page shows the driver as a 4.0 driver drivers but it installed:

This is the driver I have installed:

I'll check back with an update if it breaks down or is stable.  I have reactivated the NCQ too.

    Hello

PC for my TECRA A11 - 12F battery health monitor (2 weeks) shows an unknown messageheatlh.
If anyone else has had a similar problem and has it been resolved?

What happens when you start laptop without battery and when the OS is battery charge will be added also? Battery is correctly recognized?
In any case, the update of the BIOS is good solution.

  • DV6 battery unknown (93)

Hello. I own a computer laptop dv6-3165sf and something just happened to the battery. Last week it worked 100% sustainable well, as long as it should be and HP Battery Check report was also clear. I had the battery out of the laptop for 5 days, and today I realized 2 things:

1, the battery has been drained much faster

2, block check reports status unknown (93)

Any suggestions? I already tried to remove/reconnect AC power/battery and reinstalled battery check/Support Assistant. Nothing has worked.

    UPDATE:

1, the battery not any drain more quickly. My mistake.

2, it remains at 100% for a few minutes and then straight falls to 95%. (Currently, he has continually evacuated to 65% without the drops).

I had the laptop for only 2 weeks, but it was placed in a showroom of the shop where I bought it for a few months. (I guess they get out of battery while in the exhibit hall). Whatever it is, the last time that check the battery worked, it reported 22 charges.

No, I have not run calibration again. In view of these 22 charges, can I calibrate now?

I am running Windows 7 HP 64 bit.

The BIOS of F.13A you suggest is older (I guess) that the F23 I currently use. Although, I found an unofficial (?) F27 BIOS to www.notebookreview.com/forum . That would help? Is it recommended?

    What should I do now?

If the installed BIOS is F.23A then do not update it.

I do not recommend running calibration.

Are you laptop still under warranty?

    Best regards

  • HP Probook s + peripheral 4540 battery drains unknown

    Hi all

    I just purchashed a new probook 4540 s core i5 with win7 x 64 system.

Firstely, when the battery fully charged and then turned off the laptop for a few hours or the next day it becomes 99% or 98% although its plugged in current alternative. Stop again for 1 hour and turn it on running at 97%. Is this ok or there is problem battery especially, it shows that (sector, no litters) so portable must operate to the AC adapter and battery remain 100%.

Secondly, I can't find an unknown device not as in the figure below.
