    Hello

This problem occurs because of MS Office (tails, corruption).

Try reinstalling Microsoft Office as follows:

    1. uninstall all MS Office applications in a standard way via Add/Remove Programs, restart.

    2. use instructions and special removal tools to remove completely all MS Office applications:

    -office 2013 or earlier version: install this tool http://download.microsoft.com/download/0/e...16a296a/ork.exe, go to start-> all programs-> Microsoft Office-> Microsoft Office Tools-> Resource Kit Microsoft Office 2003-> removal Assistant, in the Removal Wizard, select 'Comepletely remove all versions of my previous Microsoft Office application' and follow the instructions;

    -for Office 2007, 2010: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971179

    -office 2013, 365: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501/en

    3. manually remove all objects listed under:

    -C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office

    -C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE *.

    -C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\OFFICE

    -C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\OFFICE

4 restart, make sure that the problem is not reproduced more.

5 install the necessary package of MS Office.

  • HP Pavilion Notebook 17: Error in file history

64 bit. I'm trying to use the history of files to back up my files on a 16 GB Lexar (F) drive on a usb port. I get an error message saying that the drive is not connected. It is false, that I am able to save files individually in the drive. I tried to disable and re-enable the drive. The drive appears in good health until I try to run the history file.

    John,

Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

    Comment

It's a tiny USB - don't forget that file history will catch everything that is in your library, including your files to a disk if they are "available offline".  Data can add up quickly.  The smile.

    A few ideas

    • You could try to format the drive in NTFS and see if that helps.
    • The USB is maybe just too small; Try a larger drive.  OR > reduce the folders in your libraries.
    • You can try another brand - from his personal experience, I found that not all USB keys are equal for all tasks.  We can fight it or just try something else.

Once you get the running configuration: you can view the event log history file under Advanced settings.

    Hi Tina,

Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

HP_Tools is a partition that contains "work programmes" used for the diagnosis of the system.

The partition should be left alone: do not add or remove files from HP_Tools.  is the partition, and it should take care of itself.

You don't need to defragment the partition; HP_Tools is not a part of the operating system that has no impact on the speed or slow your computer works during the day-to-day operations the day.

The following document explains the HP_Tools partition and what to do if you have accidentally added files on the partition.

  • cannot change windows theme of beats theme, rather goes Classic!

Portable mode: Envy 14 1260se beats edition, windows 7-64 bit, graphics card: ATI mobility radeon HD 5650 graphics card

So basically I had to change my hard drive and so I bought a hybrid hard drive, so I had to install windows and all my drivers manually, it took me a lot of time! I posted twice about my problems, just in case, here is the links:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/notebook-hardware-e-g-Windows-8/smart-check-issue/m-p/2337361#M89813

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/notebook-recovery/error-code-0xe0f00013-during-recovery-new-hard-drive/...

I had a slight problem in my graphics card driver installation, but finally I managed to do it. But now I am facing a problem which I have no idea how to solve. After you download stardocks my colors, I applied the theme beats and it worked and everything worked very well. However once I turned off my laptop and he turned, rather he returned to classic and after that every time I used the "stardock my colors change the theme of beats, he returned to the basic mode. Once I reinstalled the program stardocks and then it worked again but after that I restarted my laptop, same thing happened again. I don't know if the problem is due to my graphics card or battery power option, I don't know!

It took me a long time to install windows and all, and this little problem is really annoying!

    Thank you, Aria!

In fact I think I found the problem. So basically I have two drivers for my graphics card, one intel and the other is ATI. After you install windows, driver intel has been included in the windows updates and so it has been installed and then I installed stardocks. If the problem is that I installed stardocks before I installed the ATI driver and so whenever I tried to change the theme aero for bat theme, he went to the base. Maybe that was the reason why there was not enough memory in the graphics card, I don't know. Once I used the "difficulty it'tool to see if there is any problem with the aero themes and the error I had was that the aero theme is not supported with the type of graphics card I have."

So what I did was really simple. First I made sure that the latest versions of my graphics cards are installed and then I uninstalled and reinstalled stardocks. It worked! Now the theme of beats is applied and everything works fine! So relieved now

  • How to solve an error "HDD 1 (301)" on my HP Pavilion Dv7 notebook PC

HP Pavilion Dv7 Notebook Pc with OS! Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit.

Error message:-hard drive 1 (301) - it sounds like there might be a malware

Virus on it. 2012 on the laptop with me AVG Internet Security. I do not know

The guys at the shop where I bought it says that I must not update the laptop

You will need get a new hard drive and install it, then you will need to reinstall the Windows operating system using the HP recovery media. If you are in warranty, HP will send you replacement parts by your warranty conditions.

If you are out of warranty, you will need to buy a replacement hard drive, and then call HP to order the specific recovery HP for your portable media.

  • HP Pavilion Notebook 15-p050ca: graphics driver error message started after the upgrade of Windows 10 model installed on #: G6U13UA #ABL

I have recently upgraded to Windows 10 and since then, I received the following message through a game: "display Intel HD Graphics driver Driver for Windows 8 (R) stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

I checked my graphics driver and it says that it is up-to-date.  I tried installing the latest drivers for my laptop model (according to the HP drivers page), December 15, 2015, installed without a problem, but no version has not fixed the problem.  An error message appears when I try to install the March and April, 2016 versions of graphics drivers, claiming that they are not compatible with my computer.

I also tried the Intel and HP driver update utility and told me that my drivers are up to date.  However, when I look at the properties of my Intel(r) HD Graphics Family in Device Manager, I noticed that information on the events tab says: "peripheral PCI VEN_8086 & DEV_0A16 & SUBSYS_227E103C & REV_0B\3 & 11583659 & 1 & 10 still requires the installation."

I don't know what needs update on my computer or if this driver is incompatible with Windows 10 and there is not yet an upgrade?  Advice or opinions would be appreciated!

My computer model is the 15-p050ca HP Pavilion Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR) model #: G6U13UA #ABL and the graphics driver is version #: 10.18.15.4279

I went back to 8.1 for Windows and ran the store several times and then reinstalled Windows 10.

I watched the graphic version installed and version 20.19.15.4331 dated dated 18 November 2015, but he still claimed there was an update of the graphics driver.  I tried the update and it was version 10.18.15.4279 dated August 2015, which was the same version that was installed when I had problems (and the same version on the HP website), then I went back to the 20.19.15.4331 version.

I tried all the graphics drivers listed for my computer on the HP support page and again, I had the same problems with them as I had before (either claim that my computer has no minimum requirements or my graphics driver crashing).

With the current version (20.19.15.4331), my graphics driver has stopped at least for now crashing, but I assume that this is not a specific driver HP and is only based Intel?  If so, I recommend HP glance on the issue, I've had if they claim that these drivers are supposed to work for my computer when my computer is, in fact, not accept them.
