  The TC appears in airport utility? If not then it is probably not part of your network or is lost... upgrade installed you El Capo because there a lot of questions.

  What is the TC plugged into the network by ethernet? And configured properly? Are you to internet via the TC... but can not see his drive... that would be typical?

• How can I find my photos in Aperture in the Finder (for Macs)?

  I have a full 8 photos Aperture GIGANTIC library. I have separated/cloisonne each year, except the last one in the library, 2014. I tried export library to a new library of many, many times only to have opening crash when I try to do. I am certain that it is because the new library would be great (I have a lot of pictures in the folder 2014) that he won't let me do.

  That said, I need a workaround solution. My first thought was to copy all photos by project, in folders in the Finder (I have an iMac) and just create a new library with these photos. While it worked, it would take me forever! So, there must be a better way to create this new library. Here are my ideas:

  1. I believe that there is a way you can find photos that are in the open in the Finder. I know, I know, it is not suggested for this. That's the problem since I signed for Lightroom because Apple did away with opening, so I don't care if my current database of opening it messes up. I have the Grand opening saved in two places, anyway.

• Missing servers in the dashboard

  I've been running Planner cap 2.8 since last Friday and most of the servers provide the inventory data and the performance dashboard very well.

  I have three Linux servers that pass the Test of Connection in the collector, but they are not listed under consolidatable of in the dashboard.

  They exist under "no data". They lack detail cpu, ram, disk, and network. When I check the report in the collector, I can see cpu and ram details are...

  I tried deactivating and reactivating these servers but still no change

  Does anyone know how I can get these three servers to appear under 'consolidatable' of in the dashboard?

  Good deal. I'd say just how to copy the file downloaded and opened using excel inventory. optimize. VMware.com > dashboard > dashboard collection > the stock statistics. Find the file inv_*.csv which is fairly large, copy it to your local system and use excel to open. You must edit the file to include the option separated by commas to see all the details.

  It's a good way to check that correct inventory records have been downloaded.

  Anyone tried connection shared in Smart View 11.1.2.1? I am able to connect to, but it doesn't show all the servers in the non editable drop-down list. I tried with Office 2003 sp3, Office 2007 and office 2010, but none of them works. Also, I tried to find the datasourse.xml file in LWS - aps in the console of shared services, but is not there.   I found the problem and solved it...

  Cause:
  SmartView is unable to save properly with all other components.

  Solution:
  After the installation of a SmartView, run the Configuration utility and select Foundation-> Web Configuration record properly with all other components.

• Why must the Finder 10.12 more physical memory

  I use the preview mode icons in the Finder feature to pre-select one or more images for later use in documents. The pre-selection spans more than 30-40 records, each a few images from 80 to 120. At the beginning just after the start of system-Finder takes about MB, 45-47. Working through records about 20 this is increased to a muscular 1.78 GB. Which is not a problem at the moment because I have 20 GB of available, but I was wondering why the Finder is the hungry.  And also, this increase in the number of forever with the number of records, I'm working through?

  The only way I can "free" memory to baseline is to force quit viewfinder, but there must be a more elegant method.

  Anyone know this method? Thanks in advance.

  Finder, as the system and other applications, will use unused memory in the file cache. It uses more memory, but it does not use what is available and who otherwise would be wasted. If something else needs memory, cache memory is reduced. There is no need to keep 'liberation' memory. The system will take care of him for you (that's why all apps free memory are unnecessary placebos that actually reduce performance).

  I tried several options to try to solve my problem, but it is not good. I have an external hard drive Seagate 2 to. I used it for about 6 months, but one day it just does not appear in the Finder more. I checked in disk utility and it shows up there, but it is labeled as "Uninitialized 2 TB Windows NT specifien". It seems strange, that it now says Windows when I used it fine on my Mac in the past. It won't let me hit mount either. Please help me.

  Did you have the Seagate utilities or any installed third-party NTFS software? The drive has never been formatted to support OS X?

• Monospaced number characters in the Finder

  I'm on a MacBook Pro running Mac OS Sierra (upgrade on the spot, not a clean install) of the retina 2012. In the time that I've been using the new OS, I was finding myself annoyed by the way in which files are displayed in the Finder. It seems that the new police (I don't remember what is happening a few weeks ago on El Capitan) have set with spacing of the numeric characters, which causes the file list display the contents of the directory in a wavelike pattern which gives it a rather ugly appearance and becomes annoying when you try to scan through the list of files.

  I've read mention a lot about a new San Francisco monospaced font that I think made his debut this year, but why it is not implemented as a system font is disconcerting. Is it the way it is supposed to be, or something not properly get upgraded during the update process? If there is some sort of command terminal or utility for Finder using a correct fixed-width font, I'd like to hear it!

  

  FWIW, I do not believe any version of Mac OS x uses a fixed-width/spacing font in the Finder. Even if the numeric characters are spacing you would have the same problem with alphabetic characters mixed. And even if everything was at constant spacing there would be a ripple on the right because of the names of files of different length.

• Why the finder ask password when logged in as an administrator

  Hi, I got a new iMac (2015) since a backup time machine of a 2011 iMac that 'death '.  (I know, within a period of one we are likely to see the 2016... refreshed models but I was desperate). Now, every time I make a change to a folder I have to enter my password.  I even deleted the password, but demand still appears. . It's just that, without a real password I can just hit enter.  However, I would like to use a password (even if I'm the only person using the computer) and I would really stop requests the constant "enter password".

  without anything running... #1 - open Finder #2 - Select House (home folder) or favorite info #3 - click colum at the top of the finder window.

  #4-post info window opens at the bottom is a padlock (unlock it) and change the privaleges 1 on list (must be your name) 'READ & write' (narrow lock)...

• external drive no connection/display in the finder

  Just updated to macOS Sierra, and my external drive is no longer appears in the Finder or in my office. Even disk utility will not display it. It has been used for Time Machine.

  Fixed by closing, connect my external drive and then go back to the top. I think the problem is that when I upgraded to Sierra, I don't have my drive connected.
