Use Bing or Google to search for information on programs, executibles, goods or services.
RunScanner is a good tool for finding information about those.

There are many sites of false information that take a file name and use it in a generic page
who claims that this is malware or a registry error and then try to sell you a program to fix it. These tactics
are totally false in order to avoid sites that use these methods.
I hope this helps.

Unknown process on my laptop. Mdworker help more
Hello. I was wondering two things on my laptop;
1. I found a process on my laptop called sysmond. I can't know what it is.
Could someone enlighten me? Thank you.
2. mdworker is somehow hogging 86% of my CPU. Tips on doing this fall?
Thank you
In my view, MDWorker I believe is linked to a spot and it can be indexing.
Apparently, you can reduce the amount of activity by reducing the number of disks they seek (go to System Preferences / spotlight / privacy, then click on + and select the drives that you want no index, for example all external disks attached)... I think that, responding only because you got no response.

Unknown process, sending data series to my instruments
I have a couple of test stations that I develop software to test at the moment. When I'm actually under them, there is no problem with the serial communication.
However, if I let any of test stations on without the software running for an extended period of time, I'll check back often to find that one of my series devices (a 2510-AT Keithley) locked. For awhile, I thought it was defective devices (strange that both had the same problem), until I found that if I left the serial cable unplugged it will break lock.
I borrowed a tap from a colleague data (the version 9 pins on this) and attached a laptop for the link over the weekend, using PuTTY to monitor communications. I'd keep a log of what it has, and I enclose below. The first 3 lines have been sending me * IDN? queries to verify that the data tap and others were working. I edited on the serial number, just in case, but the rest is the RAW file. Does anyone have an idea, which could send the rest of the data? It doesn't seem to make much sense, but there are lots of channels repeated in there, is probably not the right line random noise or something. The two stations were using the built-in COM1 port of the PC.
One of test stations I have an Agilent E3646A power connected to the station with a USB-to-serial adapter and a null modem cable. Sometimes she page and throw up a ton of errors, which are all 'error 511', which the manual says is a framing error RS232. I put the data on this line valve and sent a few * IDN? orders with reset and commands activate the remote to check that it worked and concluded that some other process was sending * IDN? queries as well, they just don't have not been correctly formatted (they seem to not properly finish more have some end ASCII gibberish) for the device, so it threw errors. I've also attached the log of this Putty session.
I tried to use the technique in this article to find which process accessed the port, but it seems that no matter what either method uses it don't leave it open long enough for me to find.
I am using Windows 7 64 bit at the time of these PCs, so that means Portmon doesn't work, and I can't find another utility that works in the same way. Does anyone know of one?
Anyone know if there is a process OR who could send these signals? There are only a few of them running in the background. I have 4 other devices on the first station and 6 on the second station with their own drivers as well, so I can't exclude the software of others.
I really really to want to have to write the manuals of equipment for these stations and include phrases such as "power Cycle the device each morning to reset" or "Disconnect the serial cable when done for the night" or "ignore the power of Agilent errors."
I can guess what happens. at least with the Agilient.
you have failed to use an external hub with its own power supply and you neglected to put a serious surge protection on main power from the PC. Pretty undesirable power pri is out to actually make windows think that the USB - serial adapter is pluged back in and some device (Agilient IO libraries?) Manager did a scan for USB TMC devices when the connection is "restored".
Simillarly the PC power supply affects the COM port. Kiethleys are known to have reported a clear feature "DCL" when they receive malformed commands of the noise.
NEITHER track will eliminate any VISA request and confirm the electrical noise
Recommendations:
- Get a surge / UPS on this machine to guard against junk food to the line managers from air and other large expenses cleanroom.
- Get bundles of cables with ferrites on them for the serial data lines.
Alternate:
- Get a membership to a hair club - you'll get a lot of hair out

Having some problems with system processes.
Hello.
I'm having some serious issues of peace of mind with some future unknown processes in my task manager and a few little annoyances that took place as they came.
My question first of all, most of the large is simply this: are Dell and Dell Data Assistant Vault data vault Service legitimate process? What are doing? The first occasionally uses a small amount of disk space or CPU, nothing major. The latter does not seem to get active, sitting in the status bar. I have no pop-up windows or windows associated with these processes.
I also seem to have some light in a few programs hiccups since these processes appeared; Videos YouTube sometimes hang a sound or jump a bit and so do a few other animations. Once again, nothing major, just enough to throw off balance me.
I use a Dell Inspiron 7720 SE series
Hello world
I have the same annoying problem with audio hiccups/short buzz spent every 1-2 minutes for all audio/video playback. Started February 11, 2015. According to the journal of events exactly on this date DellDataVault is automatically installed on my computer.
It turned out that DellDataVault has been installed as a Service. After manually stopping this service all audio anomalies stopped. This automatic installation by Dell of its DataVault cost me a few hours of diagnosis and research on Google for the solution. Not a good practice, Dell.

Spoolsv.exe - Application error

Bill
Hello DragonBill,
Thank you for visiting the website of Microsoft Windows Vista Community.
Regarding your question, the most common cause of the error is an abundance of. SHD and. Files in the directory of spool SPL. These files are created by the spooler to save data delayed a print job. The. SPL file contains the drawing commands and the. SHD file contains information of working parameters the print job.
To try to correct the application spoolsv.exe error, you must remove these files from the system. To do this, perform the following steps on your Windows Vista computer:
1. open the Control Panel, select Classic view, select Administrative Tools and then select Services .
2. in the Services management console, find the Spooler service, right-click on it and select stop.
3. then open the folder C:\Windows\System32\Spool\Printers . (Here, we assume that your Windows is installed in the default C:\Windows folder)
4. delete all the . SHD and SPL files in this folder.
5. then open the TMP folder and delete all the old, unused files in this folder.
6. Finally, restart the spooler from the Services management console service.
Important note: If you are unable to delete the files in Normal Mode, then you may have to restart your computer in Mode safe to delete files. To start your PC in safe mode, press F8 when the system restarts, and then select the Mode option safe mode from the Windows Advanced Options Menu.
If deleting the files do not straighten out the problem, you must perform a system restore and restore your system to the times before when the error started appearing on your computer. A.m. run the restoration of the system, open Start, all programs, Accessories, System Tools , and then select the System restore option. On the Welcome to system restore screen, select the restore my computer to a time option earlier and select Next. In the Select Restore Point screen, select the date that represents the restore point to which you want to restore your computer back, and then select Next. Finally, check and then click Next again to confirm your restore point and restore of the system. Restart your computer when you are prompted, and then press OK to close the end of System Restore screen.
It is important that you know that application errors can also occur because of virus or spyware infections. In fact, the Spoolsv.exe process is also a known backdoor vulnerability which can be planted on your computer for malicious purposes by an attacker. Therefore, if you see an unknown process running on your system, you must take appropriate measures to remove them.
Let us know if these steps solve your problem. I hope the information is useful.
Kind regards
Anthony

Why is my use of the ram to 100%? and crashing LAPTOP win10
AN unknown process (perhaps malware) is originally svchost.exe to 16%. I ran Malwarebytes and a file system check to start.
Please download the free version of Malwarebytes.Update immediately.
Do a full scan of the system
Let us know the results at the end. Please run a check of system files (SFC) & DISM (if necessary) If you are on Windows 8 or higherAll instructions are in our Wiki article below...
If you have any questions please ask us for .I ran the Malwarebytes and it found nothing.
I did the SFC and it does not say the files needed to fix
I always get dozens of blue screens and one of my used hardrives pick up.
I reinstalled all the drivers for my PC on the dell site. I tried to look for the HARD drive that does not pilot, but could not find anything. WD Blue: wd10jpvx-75jc3t0 1.0 TB
I also had a problem where my helmet wouldn't pick up, but all my hard drives were very good. whenever I hit the scan for new devices, I get a crash and now sometimes when I start the PC, I get an error fatal IRQ is not or less 0 then blue screen.
the only driver I have installation problems is the NVIDIA DELL website driver. I get an error that says: this driver is not for this OS or for this system. I have the latest drivers, but on THEIR site no dells.

Hello world
I need to rename a dimension Currency1 as currency. I need to pay this deposit. Via MaxL script I can only rename as calc script objects, rules etc, not a schema object file. I found an EssOtlRenameMember() API function that renames a member. But I never use the API function before. Can I use batch script or script MaxL to call this API function. Is no impact on performance for this?I need to rename a dimension Currency1 as currency. I need to pay this deposit.
^ ^ ^ I'm sure you have your reasons, but I wonder why. You will realize that every single report and recover and the ODI systematic and on this subject everything will explode when you make a change of dimension name.
Have you thought about changing the alias of the dimension? For laughs, I just tried against Sample.Basic and it works like a charm with a load of data file one line. Allowing your users (and reports and extracts and loading rules and everything) to shoot a consistent member (say, "currency") and from time to time the alias changes to Currency1 so that another (unknown) process see this value. Or just leave create this alias and shoot at once--which would be the best approach all around.
FWIW, here's my file generation of dimension to the parent/child format:
Product, CameronThis gave me a dimension with the nonsense alias "Cameron".
Kind regards

Unknown device named "PCI data acquisition" and signal processing controller in Device Manager
Greetings,
Yesterday, my brother, who was running Windows 8.1 Overview on his Asus S400CA Ultrabook fell on a big problem of the NTFS partition corruption that made it impossible to recover through the Refresh Utility Windows 8.1. Given the situation, my brother decided it was better to go back to Windows 8, I had to install Windows 8 on their PCs by using an external DVD drive with a Windows 8 x 64 installer I already buy plenty of detail. The computer never asked me for a product key that I have read is normal in Windows 8 PC now having these embedded in the motherboard. So far an installation smoothly, but he's going to be delicate in the part of pilot facilities. Before you remove the computer I went to the Asus website and did my best to find the specific drivers for my brother's computer and downloaded the key drivers, chipset, audio, intel graphics card, bluetooth, trackpad Wireless LAN, LAN and Asus and installed. I used Device Manager to check that the drivers have been installed and which did not exist. I was able to get most of the drivers installed properly, however, said the Device Manager miss me the pilot of "Data Acquisition and Signal Processing controller PCI. Unfortunately I go to Asus website to see that if I can find the driver however, I can't do this right now.Check the attached screenshots for visibility...I also tried to use Windows Update to see if he could find the correct driver and unfortunately it's a dead-end. Because of that I write in this forum to see if someone can point me in the right direction when it comes to this missing driver (and others) indicated in the Device Manager. One last thing that I would ask is if I can use a utility like DriverMax to find missing drivers or should I go and install it manually?Thank you very much in advance for any help on this matter.Original title: cannot find drivers for Asus S400CA Ultrabook PCIHi Mike,.
Please keep us updated on the status of the issue. Please do not hesitate to answer, in case you need help with Windows in the future.
Good,
ASUS technical support according to my brother was a bit of a dead end, so I went to another Google search and found the culprit. I was missing the following drivers of ASUS:- Intel® dynamic and thermal platform frame driver
- ASUS Wireless remote control (a driver for you to enjoy the airplane mode (Wireless) On / Off)
The first pilot took care of the Acquisition of ICP data and Signal Processing controller and all but one of the unknown devices. Finally, the other took care of the last unknown device in Device Manager.I never thought that ASUS would use this a strange name for their driver because these names are extremely misleading.Other than that, I can finally say with certainty that the computer of my brother is back in business, and I can call this comprehensive process of restoration of Windows 8.Thanks for any assistance to Zaki J, I appreciate much all advice through this process! -
Can´t burn on a DVD. Process went up to 98% and then rejected the disc. Is the message "run time error: unknown exception. . Cannot burn to a folder either. Process finishes, but the folder is empty. The pc has 474 GB of space. The 61-minute video has some photos 1000 x 750 pixels in size; files (.m2ts and .mp4). using DVD - R. What can I do?

Thanks for the reply.
Have been able to translate what I wrote in the numbered validation 1? There's a translate button in the bottom right of each message. Just don't combine English and Spanish in the post. Must there not having that one language in the post of the button translate work. Do not know why. But that's the way it seems to be.
Given that you can't burn your Timeline on disk or on the record, it seems that the problem is probably in the timeline content somewhere.
Please reread what I wrote in post numbered 1 to explore the contents of the timeline. If you did that? I will write more on that the next
If necessary.
If you have problems in communication, please let me know. I'll re - write my suggestions if necessary.
Thank you.

On my laptop HP with Windows 7, there is a program (qhr.exe) running continuously and according to resource monitor, it is still using 95-100 percent of the CPU resources. I can "end of process" and it doesn't seem to do anything except the CPU fan calms down. It starts again with the next restart. Anyone know what this is or does and what program I need to do with it?
Just had the same problem. I found that the program was in my race in the startup list. The executable was onder my home directory of the user, as well as an other exe with a strange name (zy *). I deleted the two files, starting with ccleaner, deleted them and I hope that it is now resolved.
What is its role: he was using my facebook account to send nasty messages and questionable links to the people, he should be warned!
