• How to search for words and phrases in multiple pdf documents

  Dear Sirs.

  I need to search for words AND phrases in a huge amount of PDF files (over 5000). The problem I found by using the "advanced search" is that I am able to search for single words sentences individual GOLD, but I need to combine a lot of words and multiple expressions in the same search. For example, if I need to look for instances of the word 'Florida' or 'Texas' or 'United States', I can't search for each PDF file that contains the word 'Florida' or 'Texas' or the phrase 'United States', since if I put 'word' in the search options, I will receive all the files that contain the word "Florida" or 'Texas' but also 'solidarity' or 'States' and simple words. I tried placing quotes in the words I need to research such as phrases, but it did not work. I would like to know if there is a way I can search the way I need.

  I need help with my script to search for text and remove the hyperlink and characterstyle link which applies (returns the normal text).

  I can't do either as I want.  I want the user to be able to type in a dialog text they want to search for, do search this text IGNORING case (case insensitive) and then for all instances that he find it, remove character styles that are applied to the (set to [none]) and delete the hyperlinks.

  My code seems to define the character style [None], when I click on the text and look at the window of character Styles, BUT all old styles (font color, underline) are always applied and removed not as I want.

  Also, I can't understand how to remove all of the old links.

  I tried many things, including the solution involving the ef87b4cb-f2ce-4785-8658-4ca6c63e38c6 registry key, but this file is not in my registry under the described path.  The fix does not work, however, the instructions for the patches are bloody terrible and I can't be administered properly.  I tried the troubleshooter on the search and indexing, but he says that he finds no problem.
  Any other suggestions?  Or you need help information.  I'm at the end of my home. It's amazing how windows 7 builds on the search functions.

  We must use Lookup from 2 to 5 and processors return in each of our 16 lots. A couple of batch processing about 700K records per day.

  To reduce clutter, I think create a processor research and personalized return (containing 5 processors Lookup and return and processor attribute merge at the end to combine the outputs of each processor search/return).

  In some of the processes, I can't use all the 5 research as input for the custom processor. My understanding of article - creating processors , all stages of the research will be always executed for all records even if some of the entries have the value NULL in accordance with the instruction-

  "the value of the attribute will be considered as zero in the logic of the processor.

  Can I create more than one processor for each research/back number 1 2, research/back 3, etc and use them in my process or compounding of processors will have a negligible performance impact?

  Also think about composition processors to add an attribute, believe this won 't a lot of impact on performance if I use not all entries.

  1. research and return is generally effective in performance. If the research is external, make sure that you have indexes on columns of search.

  2. 5 searches in a batch is not uncommon.

  3 5 to put in a composed robot research is fine and will have no impact on performance.

  4. If you do not every 5 to run according to the given conditions, you can model this in your process of / processor, for example by using no. Data Check not to records of the road to one of the controls. Make sure that you join all records after passing different paths (the attributes of fusion will be this beautiful.)

  5. as you say, adding attributes will not add any significant performance overhead. What makes them in a processor made up makes no difference to performance.
