All that I wanted to know, expires one year my MACBOOK in 8 days, can I buy apple care?

Everything I did, waited for 1 hour on the phone with Apple Support and talked to 3 different people, listen to their music useless and no help was provided, finally asked to get with store.

I'm really frustrated with the support that I received today.

    OK, I was able to recover my previous system image and fortunately it seems that you can get the serial number of the help-> System Info.  I tried to save the serial number again through my products page and while he said that the registration was successful, we'll see.  At least I should be able to install LR5 on my new machine now.

    Edit:  I also just found out that the serial number is listed under my orders, but not under my products.  Weird.  In my defense, I never thought to check the history of my order because I never received a confirmation email and the order has not been listed after purchase even as late as mid-August (when I checked last.)  Very strange but it's all good now.

    Edit #2: OK now I feel stupid.  I just got an email from Naveen with a real support AND if the correct serial number.  So, I was wrong.  Live Chat process still feel incredibly long with a few responses apparently canned / automated, but, in fairness, he did get back to me.  Thank God I washed my feet today...

    Buy 6 months ago just started to use it, on the original cartridge black, unable to print black text or lines. diags HP and they run so nothing wrong. Test print shows no black ink cartridge, but display States black cartridge is 60%.
    Through HP troubleshooting page - completely unnecessary support.
    Reloaded with the latest drivers, firmware, etc., made no difference.

    A lot on the web about this issue, but not many solutions from HP

    Feeling I may just throw the device and buy another manufacturer.

    I gave up trying to get the HP online form to work, would not accept the code for the printer.

    so I bought new cartridges despite the originals still indicating they were half full.

    in the future, I'll switch to another brand of printer, hopefully with better support for manufacturing.

  • Today, while trying to open the first Pro CC, I get an error

    When I tried to launch the first CC 2015 I got an error saying that "Adobe Application Manager is required to start the trial version.  "Download Manager from this link and install.

    I downloaded the Application Adobe for CC handler and tried to install it but I had yet an another error message saying "Setup cannot start" Download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problems that led to the unnecessary support area where only 1 hour a day can someone help paying customers.

    First of all, let me say that I'm NOT a trial user I had to pay for it because 2013 when the CC started and Adobe never had a problem charge me for monthly and now it does not work and $ 478 million later even my creative cloud has no data appearing in the box just that I am connected.

    I'm on MAC OSX 10.9.5.since a long time ago, I have not installed or uninstalled applications or files, so I don't know WTF that's happened here.

    I do not know the D5630, but for the Deskjet 6540 you can do a cycle of cleaning of the façade, as follows: turn on the printer.  Press in and hold the power button, then press the Cancel (X) button twice, then release the power button.

    Note that it rare to * never * need to perform a cleaning on the HP cartridges cycle, it would be unusual to the same need forced into the life of the cleaning cartridge.  Perform unnecessary cleaning cycles will use ink and shorten the life of the printer.

    Too, I bought a Toshiba laptop for my business as it was supposed to be a laptop a serious matter. However, I must say that I am losing confidence that Toshiba understands what needs a company.

    The docking station is frankly a joke. USB KVM will not work with it, probably, there is no PS2 port you can not use a KVM PS2 instead. Even if you could, the VGA dock does not detect the external VGA is present when there is a KVM. Of course, the answer is "simply" open up the laptop and set it up on the Panel, then switch to external whenever you turn it on. How can anyone think that is a response in a business, or any other environment is beyond me.

    Now, I find that my laptop has an Intel graphics card I can't use the DVI port on the dock either. Which is really annoying, is that I could buy a laptop at half price, but wouldn't because I wanted a laptop class business that disintegrates not in respect of the use. I didn't pursue a fantastic graphic option because I did not doing anything fancy either, but graphics without the supported DVI via the dock is just simply ridiculous.

    Now, I regret bitterly, to get rid of the old Dell D/Dock that although several years worked without fault and with DVI, with any old KVM and without any problems at all.

    Sorry for the mug shot, but I am bitterly disappointed that I bought a cheap puppy that I can't afford to write off for a good while yet. Meanwhile despite works well when it works, the laptop is a right royal pain to use when the dock is therefore unnecessary.

  • HP Support Assistant hangs and then crashes... reinstall does not

    Hoping someone can help me find the support Wizard, v7.0.39.15 is not installed.

    I have a HP ENVY 7200 dv6t Select Edition running Windows 8 64 bits; bought 1/2013

    Wizard support in the status bar indicates there are updates but if I run the wizard of support:

    • It brings together information
    • Scan your system
    • then always crashes (> 1 hr) on the preparation of the list of actions possibly Windows pops up saying the application responds more... and it stops.

    I tried:

    1. Uninstall from the control panel, download the latest version and reinstall (v7.0.39.15)... same result.
    2. Uninstall via Windows MrFixit for 64-bit systems, reinstalling... same result.
    3. Contact HP Chat... they repeat #1.., same result then tried to disable all unnecessary services... same result.
    4. Ultimately on the cat people asked me to do a restore system... at which point I refused given that all other software on my machine works well... I don't want to nuke my entire machine to fix the support Wizard.

    I guess that there are others in a similar situation... ironic that the software that is supposed to help me seems irreparable

    Anyone else have similar problems?

    Hey everyone following this thread I found a fix that has my back work support Assistant!

    Unfortunately, no help from HP, no fixed but less.

    To fix it, I changed the properties to launch Windows 7 compatibility mode and checked the run with administrator permissions. Don't know who did it, don't care really... my HP support assistant is back from work

    I've postponed an update of the bios, because it makes me nervous. Apparently for good reason.

    Today, I let the horse do the update of bios on my win8 race dv6-7214.

    He said he was doing a system restore point, but that seems to have been unnecessary.

    The laptop has a black screen after an hour of "reboot", so I've turned off.

    Turn on the screen remains black.

    No response to any prerssed keys after power, as the ESC key.

    I have read several messages that need to roll back updates of bios, which does not say much for HP regarding

    that it is a recurring problem.

    I do NOT get a blue screen, getting not nothing at all.

    Is there a way to roll back a short bios to ship to HP?

    I did not write down the version of the bios, just trust it was necessary. Don't let hp support assistant to run anything else.

    I guess that I will uninstall HP support assistant, if I never recover my computer to the point where it can turn on.

    Can not think of a software bug as bad as loaded by hp in my bios.

    Anyone? How do I reset the bios with a completely insensitive laptop?

    The dv6-7214 has an msata slot, which can be configured as C drive, I did with an msata ssd.

    The drive that came with the laptop was in the sata slot, as usual, but was not C drive.

    I found someone announcement the same problem, no black screen, (not blue screen) no error message, just in bricks.

    There is also a disc SSD C.

    I tried to temporarily move the msata on slot sata (with an adapter). This allowed the bios end

    its update.

    So it's not the Bios that is broken, but the software to perform the update to the bios is broken.

    Update (bios) fails if drive C is anywhere but the sata slot (or perhaps the c drive should be drive 0).

    I hope that HP will fix this problem. A lot of laptops HP is sold 'improved' with an extra via disk

    value added reseller. Since there are only 2 slots under that drive C may be in, sata and 1 msata

    should be possible to update the bios software to manage this small number of possibilities.
