  I got a question on this forum called "HP Envy m6 Broken hinge", but there is no button 'answer' for me to comment on this page, so I do it here.  A lot of people who are complaining about the broken hinge, received a message from "Jeff" to say that he has reached out, which seems to mean that he contacted people and if all goes well, they reached a satisfactory solution to their problem.

  My sleekbook (still under warranty) was repaired earlier this year (after a long wait for the spare part to come from the country where it is made).  I've been very careful in the use of the laptop, since I got it back, but to my great disappointment, he began once more to collapse at the bottom of the screen, where it has already been repaired.  I hope to hear from Jeff with his answer how to get this repaired (again) of course, it is now out of warranty, but I don't think, I would have to pay for the repair.

• Laptop 15-R205TU: broken hinges and must be replaced

  I bought this laptop only 4 months ago and its left hinges broke because he has not escaped or hit anywhere. I called the customer service and told them that when I opened the lid on normal use it is broken, which is quite shocking to me. They said they will send to the engineer to fix the problem and next day engineer came. He concluded that it is the first case to him that without shots or hinges broke. And HP are covered in warranty and you have to pay for it if you want to resolve. Yet once again, I called the customer service and said of the case, then the customer to transfer the call to the elderly person to solve the problem. After experiencing my problem the old person refused to fix my problem in warranty and asked me to pay for it.

  After thinking too much I decided to reimburse the costs that I am unable to do my job. Next day, I asked them to send the quote after a few hours later I got the quote and surprised. They are charging me Rs 20 000 which includes raw view, back cover and bezel WBC.

  Please help me on this.

  Assuming that you have the right cable, Yes, you can. In all likelihood, you will need a cable to VGA 15 pins to connect your monitor to your laptop. With a bit of luck, your laptop should recognize your external monitor and shunt video to it.

  If it's not, or you need to change whatever it is, go to control panel, Manager of devices and open this applet. You may need to check both places. The first is graphics cards - your video card, which is part of the integrated graphics card likely your motherboard. The second is monitors, who will be where your external monitor is displayed. Your duty to make sure what your video (graphics card) points to the external monitor (monitors).

  However, you cannot activate a maximum of two facilities at any time to use the software.

  So what exactly mean you by creative cloud don't allow you to download?

  Sorry to hear that you are having a problem with a new laptop!

  The problem you described is the hard drive. It will be sent under warranty service and would probably need a new hard drive.

  I hope that you have backups of your important documents, etc...

  Thank you for your query.

  I understand that your notebook is less then a year old and the AC power connection is loose on your laptop. It does not load the battery all the time.  It sounds like a hardware problem and I suggest you contact HP support because it must be covered by the warranty.

  I have a HP Pavilion g7-1173dx. My operating system is Windows 7. A few months back, my laptop screen was broken accidentally, but not by me.   Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!  It's a good place to find the help you need, other users, HP experts and other support staff. From what I understand, bothl of you experience the same problem with HDMI after a BIOS update.  I'm happy to help you with this.

  I would, if possible, that each of you try the laptops HP - restore the BIOS to a restoration to the having previously worked BIOS.  The main purpose is to return you to a working state. If this method works for you, obviously do not install BIOS update again.

  Edit: Bugfinder reported that restoration, the method of BIOS didn't work for him, but he had to do several times (4 times in at least one case). I guess you could say that it is true to its name, and I thank very you much for the comments.

  Please let me know if it works for you and if not let me know if there is an error message any. If this does not solve your immediate problem, please mark this message as a solution. Bravo would be appreciated as well.

  I m not 100% sure that you ask for, but right now the new portable Satellite L10 - 101 costs about 950.
  If your screen is broken, try to contact Toshiba in Turkey and ask him what is the cost of replacement of display.
