  I have a relatively new home office Pavilion model p6140F, product number NP192AA, version number software 93NAv6PrA2.  Factory installed operating system is Windows Vista Edition Home Premium, 64-bit, Service Pack 2.  I am connected to the internet via a cable modem.  I made energy-saving settings for automatic sleep mode sleep.  Quite often the computer comes out of fashion "sleep" on its own.  What is strange to me, is that when this happens and I click the Start button at bottom left of the screen or any buttons on the Quick Launch bar, nothing happens on the first click.  Only on the second click the computer is what I normally wait until it gets when clicking on the Start button or the quick launch of the first time button.  I tried an experiment by disconnecting the internet cable from the computer modem and the computer behaves as I expect.  He remains in the mode "Eve" from one day to the next day when I unplugged the internet overnight.  It looks like something 'out there' on the internet is somehow take control of the computer, do not let it go in the mode 'sleep' and play with use and function of the 'Start' buttons and the quick launch area.  At the very least, it's embarrassing, if not malicious.  Is occurring with other users?  Wouldn't be some 'normal' functioning of monitoring by HP, Microsoft, providers of security software that I have permission, or is this behavior that should not be expected.  Thanks for any direction on the techniques of 'analysis' on mine could give clues at the origin of this strange behavior.

  I had the same problem in the previous months, when I'm playing Football Manager 2011 on my Toshiba laptop.

  The game requires a lot of CPU at some point (when I move forward step, CPU and game create other teams results and create new next and so on) and it breaks after 1-2 hours of play.

  PC automathically restart and I lost my time!

  It could be overheating CPU, but I get this problems only by playing this game.
  I can't forget to play while listening to the music from Youtube or any other source or Skype chat in the background, it remains only for a few minutes then it will restart the PC again and again.

  Who is wrong? Overheating or something else?
  Maybe I just need to reinstall any Windows or game (FM 2011)?

  I use: Toshiba C670-105 / Cor Intel i3 2.53 GHz, 4 GB RAM, Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1, 300 GB drive HARD, DirectX10, NVIDIA GeForce 315 M

The internet went through Ethernet cable direct to the modem. I have reset the modem, but it is not getting an IP address assigned to the NIC card. I tried to force an IP address to be assigned, but it still does not work.

  How can go back us to windows 10? I tried HP restore, but it only shows options for windows 8.

  Since Win8 is out, embedded OEMs their product keys in the UEFI firmware on motherboard - and stopped including print on stickers on the PC.

  You can reinstall Win10 by install media from this link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/media-creation-tool-install?ocid=ms_wol_win10

  Because your PC is already registered for Win10, if you get a window asking for a product key, just choose the option to ignore that.

  After Win10 is re-installed and connect you to the Internet, the PC will be automatically reactivated.

  From my point of few TV and amplifier are connected some CEC (Volume control) functions that work. I think you should check the auto power settings and HDMI CEC standby control system.

  Hi, I have a G of the new bike and I can't switch the brightness to the manual for good.
