  just in a few short points - for more information, take a look at the white papers:

  .) Download vCenter 4.0 U2 since the download portal

  .) see white papers and the hardware compatibility guide that U2 will have no problems with used equipment

  .) make a backup of your database/Installation vCenter

  .) connect to your vCenter Server server

  .) Run setup.exe

  .) first run the pre-upgrade tool

  .) Run Installation vCenter - this will make an update to your vCenter and your database

  .) then run Installation Manager update - this will update your system Update Manager

  .) now update your Client to vCenter

  .) Update your hosts for U2

  If you want to use the Update Manager you will have to be installed on a separate windows server, the device has UM built as of yet.

  1. Yes we can connect to the device using the vSphere client.

  Kind of a chicken and the egg here problem.  How you clean up a with UpdateManager ESX Server if it is installed on vCenter server is virtualized on the same ESX box?  I only ESX Server at the moment, so I can't vmotion whatever it is turned off.  I tried to update in any case say, but may not enter maintenance mode since my vCenter server is still in place.

  You can still use other ways to patch your esx hosts.

  1. using the update of the VI, installed with the client.

  2 patch ESX host with esxupdate or use one of the many scripts online fixes (look for esx patch.pl)

  Thank you for your quick response.  Before I read your response, I did some reading and went to the Device Manager and check if the bluetooth device driver intel (mine is 7260) necessary for an update and got the answer that I got latest drivers.  I did, however, go to Dell as you suggested above and check the updates of device needed and this wasn't.  So I think that I agree.  I assume that the installation failed because it was already up to date, there may not be an option that tells you already have the latest version of the driver for the system.  Thanks again for the information, much appreciated.

  I published a version of my application that is on the store, but I need to update the devices suported.

  I know you can do this through:

  -Product management
  -Spyglass under the column of releases
  -Click on Edit next to the release
  -Go to the Release Version of add
  -Click on edit in the column of device Support

  However, I need to know if this will take my version on the app store if it is approved. If this is the case can anyone suggest a way when the application cannot stay on the store (this is important) until I can get these added features?

  Changing device supported does not affect your release at all and it does not generate a support ticket. You can do so at any time.

  In this case, try contacting the manufacturer of directly and report the problem.

  Also try to uninstall the current driver and restart your PC and then reinstall it.

  You try to install the driver for a different version of Windows like Windows 7 and check if it works or not.

  None of these answers have helped me, but I don't end up solve my problem: I have updated my computer and work the tiles and the app store, stopped all services that was not Microsoft and made a clean reboot... had about 200 + updates and did a little at a time, and now all is well.
