  I have a Compaq Presario SR5410F computer with a large screen Hp w2207h with windows home premium and service pack 2. The computer is about 1 year and 3 months. About 6 months ago, I have an update of windows for my monitor and it failed several times when I tried to install it. I got ahold of someone at microsoft but never got an answer to my problem. The person finally told me to hide the update so it wouldn't keep trying to install. Now I have another update to my monitor and it will not be installed. All other updates installed fine.   1 looks like there is a proxy or some sort of 'intermediary' between the Windows Update software and internet.  Usually, it is a kind of dial-up, or download accelerator software or maybe internet software such as content filtering (parental control).  If you have any of these please disable and try again.

  2. you may have a proxy configured incorrectly.  Open Internet Explorer and click on Tools / Internet Options / Connections / LAN Settings button.  Here, uncheck the "Use a Proxy Server" if it is checked.  Otherwise, uncheck the box for "Automatically detect proxy settings" and close IE and try again.

  I hope this helps.  The question is purely related connectivity, so something related to the internet connection does not work correctly.  It probably isn't and issue with your ISP, but more with the settings of Windows or other applications installed on your computer that are at the origin of the conflict.   3. website of the OEM manufacturer for your specific machine if you have a PC OEM (HP, Dell, Sony, etc.).

  Read the installation instructions on the Web site where you get the drivers.

  Sorry, but isn't the answer. IOS IDS signatures are hard coded in the code of IOS. They are rarely updated. All you can really do is allow them or not and some simple check of what they catch.

  I love Firefox addons. Some are quite brilliant. Why then I would lose - or at least some of them - to download an important security update? It happened for about three weeks.   It is important to use the latest version of Firefox because of all the new features and (as noted) security updates. One of the things that makes Firefox so amazing is that it is constantly improving.

  I understand your hesitation, but from 10 FF the default is to assume that an addon is compatible unless otherwise stated, while older versions to assume that add0ns were not compatible. So, you should see fewer upgrade issues. Also, given that Firefox is now on a fast release cycle addon developers will be more concerned with keeping things up-to-date. At least that's the hope!

  I use CCleaner, Spybot and defragment the hard drive a week. The computer crashes often and over the past year, I've found if I pull up the Windows Task Manager, it thaws the computer most of the time.   Manual is very well.  Here are a few things to check.

  Get your updated antivirus program and start safe mode.  Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan mode without failure.  To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode.  Then run a complete system scan.

  You must have the .zip files the * / updates of the directory of the IDS MC/s lun. But you copied files *.bin which is not supported with IDS MC/s lun. *.Bin files are for the Director of Unix.

  I set up parental controls for a child almost a year back

  and it has worked perfectly until about a month.

  Now he sends to empty activity reports
