  • Error: 0xe0000102 cannot install updates KB972270 and KB982132.

Original title: KB972270 and KB982132 want to install.

For several years the updates of security for all Microsoft products are at the regular rate
    and as soon as available.
Now, in November, all security updates Microsoft in November had been installed.

    At the same time for
    -MS Office compatibility pack
    -MS Excel Viewer 2007
    -MS Powerpoint Viewer 2007
several security updates and SP2 had been uninstalled and replaced with SP3 manually.

After all these operations the Microsoft Update and MBSA reports
    KB972270 and KB982132 were missing.

Attempt to update shows no need to download the file because all the necessary files already downloaded.
End of the installation of two patches with summary 'OK '.
However, if to market verification MBSA or Microsoft Update, these two patches
are still listed as missing. You can perform all these steps in an endless loop.
    Each time the same result.

See below two logs for details please.

    What is the reason?
    How to solve the problem?

  • Firefox wouldn't load facebook without java but my java is on I tried a refresh and now won't load profile

I went to bed. woke up pc turned on. and all of a sudden, facebook wouldn't load without java. I went and he seemed to ask before activate has been activated. I shot it is never, and then hand it to ask and did not work. then I turned it forever and forever, and it still doesn't load. Then I tried to update firefox but she never completed refresh. I had the old data of firefox on desktop folder. I tried to uninstall and reinstall since updating firefox usually open to all. said of the profiles is missing or inaccessible.

Sorry, when an update is interrupted, it can happen. Please start by creating a new profile. There is no data in it, but it will get us started.

You will start the Firefox profile manager using the Windows Run dialog box (hold down the Windows key and tap R) or the system on the charms bar search box. Paste the following and press ENTER:

    firefox.exe -P

This should start a small window.

Click on the button to create a profile, assign a name like OldSettings and ignore the ability to move the profile folder. After you create the profile, select it and start Firefox in this profile.

    I guess that Firefox works?

With Firefox running, you have two choices:

    (1) selectively restore some key data

You can manually copy important files from your old profile (like bookmarks and saved passwords) folder to the new. The following support article lists the key files: recovery of data from an old profile.

    (2) completely "roll back" the refresh

He isn't in one step to do this, it means the copy of ALL your old data from your old profile folder to the new files. Good news: all the data. Bad news: everything that has been bogged down your Firefox before is likely to be back. Yet, it could be easier overall.

Details of these measures are in another recent thread: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1145726#answer-933024

  • Updated firefox and it won't start now.

Do you have an auto update this morning and now I can't start Firefox. Don't want to lose my bookmarks if I have to uninstall and reinstall. Any suggestions?

By creating a new directory, I was able to install Firefox and not lose my favorites.

  • I wrote the HTML code and everything worked until I downloaded firefox. And now won't load the image that I put there. It shows like a damaged. What should I change?

I think that the doen't just browser allow large images to load for a job faster, or something, but I can't find anywhere where to change these settings.

Reduce the image and give it a try.

  • Update fails and KB955759 installs every day

Every day when I turn my computer off it wants to install the update above.  Every day when I turn it on the yellow shield are on and tells me to install the KB055759 update.  I have run the fix it program and it breaks down, I tried to make a fix auto and he says back up the registry I did so I can't figure out the next step.  Microsoft Web site is like a dog chasing its tail, it never quite gets to the solution.  I was looking for the help of Visual Basic 500 times and never found files.  For the money you people are doing, you might make this a bit simpler or better yet do to make it work. Try to test your products before putting the on the web.  Now, the XP is about to expire and I will be paying through the nose for a different version that works better than Windows 3.1 or Windows 95.  What a joke you people are.

Assuming that your problem has not been resolved (or your question has not been answered to your satisfaction), please uncheck my previous answer as the ANSWER and score than the other answers as RESPONSE unless & until your problems have been solved (or you decide to post in another forum instead). Please do it now, before you reply to this post to avoid confusion [yours & mine]. Thank you.

  • IE and Firefox won't load properly

I made an AVG scan last night and has 6 reports in the vault.  I restarted the computer (a laptop) and once on and the file name of the error code was displayed saying that it could not access this file.  It happens to be in the 40s.  I've restored the file (or think I did), but I'm still the error when starting.  (file: C:\Docum\~1\Jessica\LOCALS~1/Temp/DWM.exe)

Given that this error, we can not get Firefox or IE on startup.  He said initially that it was a problem of proxy.  We changed these settings after finding this solution here.  However, the error is still showing after starting, and Firefox said it broke and we have sent a report, but says only: he connects.  Outlook Express is working and loading all the mails, so our connection is good.

Any thoughts?  I would use some malware from malwarebytes.org, but I can't get my internet to open for download!  UUGGGHHH!

    Thank you

I can open IE, and run it, but FF will not run the proxy cannot save the connections.  BUT, when I try to download Adobe Flash Player (I lost it in deletions I guess) it will not be installed.  Missing records hotkey (I know that a lot of people had been removed in the spyware removal.

Firstly, scanners, you ran were anti-malware, not malicious software applications, but this is a minor point.

Second, you really need report complete error messages, without paraphrasing.

But more important still, your machine is probably enough compromised at this stage to require more detailed help you can get in this forum.  I suggest you read ALL the information tohttp://elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware .

Special attention to the following section:

    3. If the malware remains even once you've done all that, it's time to get interactive help. Choose one of the specialty forums listedhere (in no particular order). Save and read his FAQ display. After the excellent advice given by Corrine, MVP and Security/Malware Removal expert:

"Recently, many of the security help forums began spend away from HijackThis (HJT) as a tool for initial, he find useful only for a general idea of possible problems."  Now the malware is often not visible in a HJT log.  In addition, preliminary cleaning often leads to the question isn't is not visible in a HJT log.

"Accordingly, it is suggested that all those seeking additional assistance special attention the preliminary requirements of the site where they get help.  It is particularly useful to the analyst, if an explanation clearly and concisely the nature of the problem is provided with all the required papers.

"Help sites are very busy.  Therefore, it may be several days before a response is received.  It is recommended that follow you your subject so that you know when an analyst replied.  Because a lot of sites on new requests for assistance by zero (0) responses, it is not recommended that "bump you" your post.  Most of the sites have a place to post if you think that your problem has been overlooked.

"It is important to note that many of the tools used in security help forums are extremely powerful.  If used wrongly can turn your expensive computer into large Clipboard. For this reason, it is recommended that you ask for help on a site established and recognized with trained analysts and do not try to use specialized tools or patches without proper guidance. »

  • BlackBerry Smartphones installed a updated software and curve won't turn on after reboot. Help please!

OK, so I am new to the BB world. I just downloaded the software deskstop and performed an update I plugged my BB to the computer. It took about 20 minutes and the BB said, turning it back on, so I chose "restard now."

Now, the software of office says "disconnected" on the bottom right and my phone does not illuminate. She has just the occasional flashing red. She's.

    No idea what to do?

Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way:

With the BlackBerry powereddevice, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this way is prescirbed for most the gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

My computer Windows 8 acted as weird after I have updated to 8.1 that according to me. Windows Movie Maker does not recognize the files that it used to recognize. My Google Chrome acted a lot, just like my files. But the worst is that I can not reset my computer to factory settings to solve this problem. When I try to reset it to factory settings, it just says, "no changes."

It is very frustrating and so now I have to see if my computer update will fix all this. My computer tells me that I am due for an update when I login, but when I go to

    Settings PC > Windows Update

The Windows Update screen will load, load and load and I'll it let it charge for hours and hours, but it keeps loading. Never, he shows me the update I need. There is also no error code for the update because it won't load at all.

It's frustrating because I don't understand why I can't reset my computer completely or update. I did the research for hours and hours to solve this problem and I became irratible trying to fix computers.

I think that all this comes from the update and I can't fix it. I had a lot of people try and fix it, but usually, I'm able to fix computers or searching for the answer to fixing it, but not this time.

If someone knows the solution to this problem, feel free to respond. I ended up getting tired of all these questions and I don't know what else to do.

    Thank you.

    Hi Kaitlyn,

I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing. We are here to help and guide you in the right direction.

To better understand the issue, I would need more information on your side.

    1. What is the number of brand and model of the computer? (So that I can help you find the device drivers on the site of computer manufacturer)

    2. what measures all troubleshooting have you tried?

This problem might have occurred because of these reasons:
    1. lack of Windows updates.
    2. If the device drivers are not updated.
    3 corrupt system files.

Before you start the troubleshooting steps allows you to download and install the latest device drivers for all devices in the computer manufacturer's website. Check if it helps. If the problem persists, try the steps listed here and see if it helps:

    Method 1:
I suggest you to reset components Windows Update, which fixes corrupted Windows Update components and help you install Windows updates.

How to reset the Windows Update components?
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/971058

Note: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below to view the article in the the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

    Method 2:
If the problem persists, I suggest to start the computer in Mode safe mode with network and check if the problem persists or not. If the problem does not occur in Mode safe mode with networking, you can set up your computer in a clean boot and check if it helps.

    Step 1
    :
Start the computer in safe mode with network. In Safe Mode with networking starts with a minimal set of drivers and files.

Start settings for Windows (including safe mode)
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/Windows-startup-settings-including-safe-mode

If the problem does not occur in safe mode with network, try step 2:

    Step 2:
Set up your computer in a clean boot state. Setting the system in a clean boot state will help you determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.

How to perform a clean boot in Windows
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: After the clean boot troubleshooting steps, see the "How to reset the computer to start as usual after a clean boot troubleshooting" section in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.

    Method 3:
If the problem persists, you can run the audit and the auditor of file system (CFS) tool if this solves the problem. SFC scan would be a system file corrupt on the computer search and replace.
