Update NVIDIA 275.33 defective; corrupted video driver display with driver WHQL

The message below was copied and pasted under nvidia Forum Legacy drivers. Necessary information can be found in the copied message.

Because it seems to be no activity on this site regarding this post, I thought that it is better to publish below.

The reasoning is that the pilot was clearly corrupt. is available at FileHippo.com and other sites and is supposed to be a Microsoft WHQL certified file. In my view, that this may not be true in this case, as will demonstrate it the message pasted below.

PASTED the MESSAGE FROM THE FORUMS, LEGACY nvidia DRIVERS:

Under XP Home SP3 with GeForce 6200 256 MB PCI card. Also running avast! Version of COMODO Internet Security 6.0, 5.4.189822.1355, Sandbox disabled at time of installation in the admin.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I was warned by the Update Manager in the current version of the 6.14.12.7061 driver that a newer version of GeForce was available June 2, 2011 version 275.33 by download. Check the properties of file after download, I noticed that had no Digital Signatures tab. Avast! scanned and said the file was clean. COMODO, however, cast alerts on Digital Signatures missing, so I chose to ignore without remembering, and as far as I could tell, the installation was completed successfully.

Because this file was not Digital Signatures that are normally found on the files distributed by reputable companies, I took care to the image of my system first. I just checked a few minutes ago, and the same file downloaded earlier is the same exact file I got on June 2, with the exception, it has been downloaded FileHippo.com. The first file was downloaded from nvidia.com, also a 32-bit XP file.

A reboot is required, system restarted after installation on June 2, and I noticed immediately the logon screen has not been defined as before. Check display system properties after logon gave the following information: the screen resolution is only 640 x 320, (not sure) and the bit of color was only 4-bit color. No matter what I was doing, I couldn't reset the resolution or color for the settings I had before 1280 x 1024 or 32-bit color.

I also had a close dialogue of M$ box that appears repeatedly, stating that COM updated necessary to close, and whenever this happened, I chose not to send the news of the accident.

NVIDIA abreast of this file is probably be corrupted? I've never had this problem before. NVIDIA is no indication that the card that I run is supported.

Why do Digital Signatures missing properties file? It is indicated as a M$ certified WHQL file as well.

As it is, I'm now getting alright ATM, as I've restored the image to return to where I was before the installation.

The new Manager to update my current version of the driver have been corrupted or redirected?

???

Joe, aka mchain

As I said above, never had this problem before with this OS. Win98SE was a different story, so he backup before installing a new driver was always careful.

I find this problem to be a little weird at best.

Any help or information would be appreciated.

Joe

Umesh P,.

Final installation of the new driver file, nvidia 275.33. Installation was successful.

It turns out that the first available driver file has been altered, because it lacked the Digital Signatures tab, but a more recent file turned up at nvidia, only an hour or two later.

This one said certified June 2, 2011, 03:17, on the Digital Signatures tab and the file listed as OK.

a mistake has been made, and nvidia has released the file without Digital Signatures on the first version, he little time (two to three hours later) corrected with the correct file.

First file has been deployed on June 1. Digital Signature time unknown.

Time line fits, so it was probably a goof on the part of anyone.

Thanks for getting back to me. Busy here, I'm sure you're here.

BTW, Device Manager cannot see the compressed file (a good known) to proceed with the driver installation. I installed by choosing "open" and open the file and ran. "

Fixed a problem.

  • Qosmio X 505-Q898 - will we ever have updated NVidia drivers video?

    Hi-
Does anyone know the latest NVidia video driver numbers? I had the X 505-Q898 since before Christmas 2010 and have not been able to find and update all of the video drivers. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.

    Hello

NIVIDIA drivers are different from the Toshiba drivers.
Toshiba drivers are modified for mobile use and support a thermal protection that protects the graphics card overheating. This is necessary because the portable computers cooling modules are not powerful as modules for desktop computers and, therefore, the pilots of cooling needs to control the temperature.
Don t support such feature nVidia drivers and so these drivers can be used only at own risk

In addition, as far as I know the latest drivers come out with a new series of laptop.
Several portable series supports the same graphics chips and as a result, you can also check the drivers that have been released for other series with the same GPU.

  • Video driver not updated to the latest version... Troubleshooting help please...

Hello and good day, group... We have here a few CQ4010F desktop computers. I pushed recently updated Windows and a PC (1PWC) now has a video driver to version less about that. The PC I compare (0SDQ) is great for video with full 1920 x 1080 is available and Acer E211H monitor display. For PC with the issue, the resolution will not be max (stuck @ 1600) and the screen credits. The goal is to get (1PWC) to the full resolution and correct monitor please.

Here are the specs for the two because both machines are the same for the Prod #:

    Models: CQ4010F, ABA-Prod #NY650AA, stock video NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430, stock charge RAM 4 GB, 64-bit, SP1 Win7 (after windows updates)...

I compared the pilots, and they do not match when comparing machines:

-(1PWC); NVIDIA, on 14/05/2009, version 8.15.11.8593, signed MS Windows

-(0SDQ); NVIDIA, 01/04/2010 (new date), version 8.17.11.9739 (latest version), have signed MS Windows HW compatibility Publisher<--- want="" please!!!="">

I can not get the most recent driver to load on the PC with the question. I pushed for troubleshooting updates driver Windows on (1PWC) several times. All say that the driver is updated? I did a driver update... process also with the reporting of the pilot system is running when it is not. I went to the site of NVidia and NVidia driver downloads tell me that the correct driver is installed, when it is not. Interesting java Nvidia GPU playback tool said unknown to the GPU video about the PC card product? The 'good' PC reports the right product analysis offshore GPU and offers even update a more current Nvidia driver. I as well before it is rip out together video driver and loads a basic 640 x 480 driver, then start in safe mode and reload the driver proper. But I don't know if I did the steps correct basic video driver load correction method.

Hope it was not too verbose. I am running "on this feedback rabbit hole an and any circular or troubleshooting tips would be great. Be advised that it is the PC with the southbridge NVIDIA North/South wobbly mobo that also has problems of USB.

    Thank you-

    /WF

    Hello GPS-Tech,

Because the tool indicates the video card as being unknown, that it does not find a driver to update because he does not know what to look for, as well as update microsoft assumes that the driver is up to date because it has no idea of this driver to get.

Your best option is to manually install the driver by accessing the site Web of NVIDIA manually by lifting the video card and the driver installation.

I think it's the right driver

  • Win Vista 64 bit hangs on the 9800GT Nvidia video driver

    Hello

I recently installed Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit and it works very well using GPU on board. Problems started when I installed the 9800GT. It works when I use the standard VGA driver windows installed, but after that I updated to the latest version of the driver the screen would be black after the initial screen that displays the progress bar just before the vista logo and nickname. I went to the VGA driver, so I can type this upward.

The machine is still trying to get all the service packs and updates, and I was wondering if the problem will be solved by getting all the updates.

The problem seems so much as questions of other people were able to see with the video card since ' 09. I hope he has improved since then.

  • Having a hard time updating video driver.

    Hi all!

So, I've been doing reviews of various games that I play my graphics/video driver is outdated and needs an upgrade. I pushed a little this turned off until I could not really play a game that I wanted to because my graphics driver was not able to support it properly. (the game would work, but "read memory" errors would regularly jump upwards)

So my computer (a Dell Inspiron with Windows 8 (64-bit) and an Intel Core i5 vPro processor) currently has an Intel HD Graphics card 2500, and when I went on their site and contacted the support for some assistance, they recommended an Iris Intel HD Graphics (v. 15.33.14.64.3412) to replace. When I tried to upgrade my current processor (whose version is 9.17.10.2849), he said that the current driver, I had was to update, even if everything else was telling me it was not. To work around this problem, I contacted the person suggested I have uninstall then reinstall (which I did), but the old driver reappeared in its place when I downloaded it (manually in a zip file). After that, I tried to uninstall from a different place (Control Panel, I think), and despite my best efforts, the old processor kept returning. The person has recommended that, because it seemed that my computer was rejecting their driver, I go on the manufacturer's site and see whether there are upgrades.

What brought me here. I found the recommended drivers, but Intel one seems to be an older version (8 something), but there was an Nvidia card, I thought I'd try to download to see if it helped at all. I tried to download it, but I kept getting an error message which I think was something about not being able to find the appropriate driver tech (I could be wrong, but something she was doing so he could not find a place to install to, I think). So, I'm pretty stuck. My driver obviously needs an update, but I'm completely lost as to what I should do.

    Thank you very much!

I'm a bit confused with all of this. Graphics Intel HD 2500 is integrated in the i5 processor. You should not try to update anything. You cannot pass your processor unless you physically remove your motherboard and put another in his place. Still, you shouldn't try to update the drivers of the CPU either.

Apparently, you have not any dedicated Nvidia or AMD video card then you should not try to install the drivers for it. 2500 HD is not intended to play all games requiring high-end graphics power where you would need a dedicated card. If you have any questions, play a game as described, then you just buy a video card and install it on your system.

If you have the Inspiron 660, I would suggest a 7750 HD or a GTX 750 for the games. They will both work on your power of 300 watts.

  • Free update to win 10: compatibility check says I have an old video driver

How to get the to Win 10 free upgrade on a laptop Sony Viao, who is a former (from Win 7 Pro) video driver. The Win 10 says the video driver compatibility checker is old, but NVIDIA does not offer a newer version. I've tried the route "to get an updated video driver.

I have never changed the video driver on your laptop before. How can I change the video driver on my laptop that is compatible with Win 10? I mean, I can't because it is coupled with the video inserted into the laptop?

If I can't change the video driver, how can I switch to Win 10 with an old video driver?

  • Recommendation of the NVidia video driver version

I'm still on NVidia GForce 266.58 version. WHQL 270.61 versions; 275.33; 280.26 and the newer 285.62 have been published since. The card I have is a GTX 470. I have not all the games to play on the PC that is used for work and my vocation as a photography/video. I have Production Premium CS 5.5 and Windows 7 ultimate. I'm not having problems known with this video driver but wonder if I could expect a benefit of a newer version of the video driver.

I'd be very happy with the answers as much as possible with the version of the video driver, version of Premiere Pro and your experience with the version of the NVidia video driver you are using.

    Thank you!!

I only use the most recent versions and the problems never experienced, apart from a few problems with the early beta drivers.

  • Update NVIDIA & received the message that current browser (FF) was corrupt & gave me the opportunity to make the browser by default IE & Google as search engine - what happens?

Updating NVIDIA, I received a message that my browser (Firefox) was corrupt and that I had to do my default browser Internet Explorer with Google as a search engine. I had many major problems with software advertising, viruses etc since I updated FF 2 days. Firefox was hacked? I reported these problems and give all the details in the last days, you can find them if check you email from this account (Stephenwolf) or +. +++ @hotmail.com. Go now will contact again later today.

public email Edition and robots to spammers. You should get an email when there are answers.

I hope that your update was not one of those sites that run misleading ads on the search engines for packages of shit... but it sounds really like your Firefox is not clean yet. Here's my method to track down and clean the bad Add - ons and other hijackers. I know it seems long, but it's not so bad.

    (1) open the Control Panel, uninstall a program. After the loading of the list, click on the column heading "installed on" to group infections, I mean additions by date. This can help the undisclosed items bundle smoker who snuck out with some software, you have agreed to install. Beware of everything that you don't recognize / remember, since malware often uses sounding names important or innocent to discourage you remove. Out as much garbage as possible here.

    (2) open Firefox page modules using either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons
    • in the Windows "Run" dialog box, type or paste
      firefox.exe "about:addons"

In the left column, click on Plugins. Set essential and unrecognized plugins 'never enable '.

In the left column, click Extensions. Then, in case of doubt, disable (or delete, if possible) not recognized and unwanted extensions. Remember that all extensions are optional, none come with Firefox.

Often, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

    Any improvement?

    (3) you can search the rest of problems with scanning/cleaning tools listed in our technical support article: Troubleshooting Firefox problems caused by malware. These scanners on request are free and take a long time to run. If they end quickly, especially if they require the payment you have a serious infection. I suggest the specialty forums listed in the article in this case.

    Success?

Then we can work on the restoration of your normal settings.

  • Firefox Beta 23 crashed 5 times in the last hour since the update, twice with a BSOD of video driver failure. I can't understand another way to this post.

FF was running fast and stable until the beta update tonight. Later he crashed several times, sometimes with a total system crash, sometimes with a system is unresponsive, sometimes with a video driver leading to a BSOD crash.

I had to DL 22 release and restore. I am now on the output channel, not the beta channel.

System Setup: Dell Latitude 6410, Win 7 x 64, 128 GB SSD, 4 GB of RAM, Intel video hardware. Everything is up-to-date.

Trying to get out before it blocks again and then switching to 22.

    Java plugin is usually disabled.
Toolbars are ABP, disconnection and download status bar.

    Update:

Have been able to run > 4 hours stable release 22 without hardware acceleration and long-awaited performance. I identified that my Crucial necessary M4 SSD firmware updated because of a problem that causes the BSOD after 5000 operating hours. Since the firmware update has been applied, I was stable.

Firefox may have been a catalyst, not a culprit. I wonder if my BSOD troubles began because FF or FF, as Flash module, was trying to make the disk space which had been rendered difficult by my bad SSD firmware.

Will post again in 24 HR works normally on 22 and then try 23 update to see if it is resolved.

Thank you all for the input. Hope my comments are useful somehow.

    Hey cfravel,

All major issues! Sorry to hear that you use in the blue screens, but you did a good job of troubleshooting. I'll answer the questions in the order that you asked them.

1 and 2. Here is a link to the Microsoft Forumwhere there was a similar question. It looks like uninstalling and hiding the implementation update will correct the problem. To uninstall an update,

    • Click Start
    • Program 'type '.
    • Click on programs and features
    • Click View Installed Updates (left)
    • Search for KB2670838.
    • Select this option and click on uninstall.

    To hide the update,

    • Click Start
    • Type "update".
    • Click on Windows Update
    • Click Find updates
    • Click "# important updates available"
    • Search for KB2670838
    • Right-click on it and click on hide (you can always restore hidden updates in the future if you want by clicking on "restore hidden updates" from the main screen of Windows Update.

    3. here is the correct driver for your laptop HP Special Page. I think you're probably already doing it correctly, but just in case. How many times have you tried this driver? Try a couple of times.

3B. Yes you could certainly try the next previous driver.

3 c. the drivers coming from Intel or ATI are almost the same driver in most cases. We invite you to try them because they can always be uninstalled. Just, they are not guaranteed to work properly for your specific model.

    4. There are two versions of the driver for your ATI video chip. These and all future versions will still be available on your driver page. Click on the link under the latest driver that says "available versions" for a complete list of all the versions that are never released.

    5. to reinstall the driver of origin or any other original software that is preinstalled on your laptop, you can use HP Recovery Manager.

    • Click Start
    • Type "HP recovery".
    • Click HP Recovery Manager
    • Click re - install the drivers and software.
    • Scroll through the list and select drivers or software to install. These drivers will still be available on your page of driver as well.

6 here is a link on how to reinstall Windows from the recovery partition. In the links in blue at the top, click on "Recovering from the start (in the system startup) screen". This is a very simple process.

Please let me know if you have any questions or if these suggestions helped (it could help others with similar issues). I'll keep an eye out for your answer!
