• Who's in a name - update of Lightroom October 6/CC

  I am aware that there is an update to Lightroom 6 out there...   I bought a stand-alone version of the LR6 and was puzzled to see the marked 6/cc October update update. Why is CC in the name? This new version is still connected with the Cloud version? Just curious as to what I will update with.  How are updates for the CC versions and autonomous is it different?

  Updates for both are the same.

  CC is the name for the Lightroom that comes with the creative cloud. 6 of Lightroom is the same for the stand-alone version of the application.

  You run Windows 7 Service Pack 1? I don't think you are.

  OS version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1 should read 6.1.7601...

  If this isn't the case, which I think is the case, then you need to update.

  This is the same download for Lightroom 6 and Lightroom CC. I can't tell you what to do that signature is concerned because I've never used Lightroom 6. I've only used Lightroom CC. But if you have enabled Lightroom with a serial number for version 6 and then everything you need to do is to use the latest update available on the following Web site:

  I understand that Lightroom CC is the last direction that adobe has taken. Can I upgrade, and it is worth. From what I found online, Cloud Creative is a monthly subscription.

  When you try to start, I saw on Saturday 10 June 16 update for Lightroom. The agent helping clicked the update button. After about 20 min... He stopped at 35%. After the restart he stopped again at 35%. When I tried to call support of the website said that the Department was not open until Monday. When I called agent said that they can not extend the trial because I didn't call when it happened.
