Update of Microsoft using large amounts of resources

I have 2 computers with Microsoft update by using a large amount of RAM. Wuauclt.exe and svchost.exe eat so much memory that do not complete the updates. This happened for a few weeks and have just been told. I have reset the updates that did not help. I disabled Microsoft Updates which seems to fix the problem. A system has 512 MB of RAM and Norton AV, the other has 1 GB of RAM and NOD32.

CC in Photoshop using large amounts of memory with no file open

I'm having a problem with the CC of Photoshop last updated who introduced the starting workspace.
The issue I'm having is that Photoshop is suck a non-pieuse amount of memory even when it is not an open file. Here is a screenshot to illustrate this:
I thought that the Workspace 'start' was the cause of this memory suck and disabled. I find does not Photoshop to use this memory for no apparent reason.
Someone can help me understand why Photoshop behaves in this way and how to prevent that the program uses this memory when there is not all the files open within the program?

The problem occurs on specific applications?

This can be for one of the following reasons:

1. bad mouse is selected in the IntelliPoint software.

2. conflict with other mouse or pointer (non-Microsoft) software.

3. problem with IntelliPoint software or drivers.

4 application does not correctly recognize scrolling the mouse messages.

Can I use the total amount of resources (cpu/ram) of two esxi hosts if I place a cluster so that a single VM gets all resources?

I use vCenter 5.1 with two esxi 5 guests, both exactly the same (Evga SR - 2 pc with two Intel x 5670 each) with the exception of the disk storage. Processor x 5670 a 12 hearts if HT is enabled. Since then, I have 4 of these processors that would be 48 cores. Each processor is clocked at 4 GHz for a total of 16 GHz. Each host would also 24GO of total Yes 48 GB of ram.
I doubt that this is possible, but what I want to do is to install a virtual machine like Win 7 x 64 and give all these resources to it... all of them (perhaps leave some carrots and ram aside for guests of esxi, of course). This vm is run to 16 GHz? It would be nice if we could create a cluster with a Setup like this and give the "total available resources' for a single virtual machine running on a esxi host.
I doubt that this is possible because I've tried that before and it wouldn't let me create a virtual machine with this number of nuclei or ram because he said that they were not available or something... as if to suggest that I can only use the total amount of resources to AN esxi host.
There may be another way I could give this 16 GHz machine?

Converting large amounts of points - 76 million lat/lon to space object...

Platform - Oracle 11g 64 bit on 64-bit Windows server 2008 Enterprise. 64 GB of ram with 2 processors for a total of 24 cores

Does anyone know a quick way to convert large amounts of points of a space object? I need to convert lat/lon st_geometry ESRI or Oracle sdo_geometry 76 millions.

Currently I have the configuration code using parallel functions in pipeline and several jobs that run at the same time. It takes still more than 2.5 hours to deal with all the points.

Pointers would be GREATLY appreciated!

Are they in an existing database table, then you can just update the column sdo_geometry to help:

I did an applet that receives the data, signs and returns the signed data. When the amount of data is too big, I break into blocks of 255 bytes and use the Signature.update method.

OK, it works fine, but perfomarnce is poor due to the large amount of blocks. Is it possible to increase the size of the blocks?

You cannot change the size of the block, but you can change what you send.
You can get better performance by sending multiple of your block size of hash function that the card will not do an internal buffering.
You could also do as much of the work in your host as possible application and then simply send the data you need to work on with the private key. Generate the hash of the message does not require a private so key can be made in your host application. You then send the result of the hash to the card is encrypted with the private key. This will be the fastest method.

I'm new to InDesign and would appreciate some advice/tips on the best way to transfer a large amount of text from Microsoft Word into an InDesign document. I was tasked to create a very simple pocket-sized book, whose content will be a series of business acronyms (700 +) and their definitions (imagine a very simple dictionary). As you can imagine there are a lot of text in the Microsoft Word document, so any advice on how to transfer everything as quickly as possible would be really useful. Or, where appropriate, it would be easier to use another program?
Can you paste/import all - or chunks-a document word at once? If I format a master page will be Adobe InDesign paste the text in the number of pages required? Or do I have to do it page by page in a Clipboard?
