You mean a copy perpetually under license (standalone)? that is not a cloud version.

The answer is Yes. All of the updates in the same version number are free. 6.0 > 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, 6.5.1 etc..

Lightroom 6 gets all same bugfixes, new support for camera and lens profile support than the version of cloud. 6 Lightroom gets no new features such as Dehaze and limit Warp.

7 Lightroom (when it exists) will be a paid upgrade.

I installed on my Mac Pro 13 "retina package Photoshop CC, CC of Lightroom and Bridge. In November I started to receive information about problems with the payment and the request for Adobe to confirm the address and method of payment. Done by me already 3 times but still I find myself with this present message and even though I have bills confim me the subscription is paid every month, this request does not allow me update programs. Also, but maybe it's a consequence of the described problem, whenever I try to update Photoshop, Lightroom, and Bridge, I asked to enter the I Word cloud of past, which is not accepted and I don't know how to solve this problem.

When you install or update programs will ask you your COMPUTER password, so that your operating system knows that you are authorized to make changes

  • Photoshop CS5/Lightroom 3 issue of integration - 'Edit copy with Lightroom adjustments' does not work

When you click on 'Edit copy with Lightoomroom adjustments' from Lightroom, I get an error in Lightroom 3 complain that plug in Camera Raw is not up-to-date; full message below.

"This version of Lightroom can require the Photoshop Camera Raw plugin version 6.1 for full compatibility."

Camera Raw 4.6 version is the last version available for Photoshop CS3. If your camera raw files support has been introduced after Camera Raw 4.6, in Lightroom Photoshop integration features require Photoshop CS4 and the latest Camera Raw version 5 plug-ins.

The version of Camera Raw-plug-in installed currently is 0.0. »

When I click on 'Open anyway', Photoshop CS5 is launched, but he seems to have lost the context of why it opens and asks me which file I want to open (i.e. the open as a dialog box).

"Copy edit" and "Edit Original" of Lightroom 3 works as expected and opens images in Photoshop, CS5 however.

My installation is on Windows 7. I currently also have Lightroom 1.4 and Photoshop CS3 installed. Everything worked fine with the old configuration. I also tried the same workflow Lightroom 1.4 again just on time, which is now connected to CS5 instead of CS3. The 'Edit Copy with Lightroom adjustments"also work very well.

Things I have tried but have not worked:

    • I did an update through the help-> Update menu and also manually downloaded the plug in Camera Raw 6.1.
    • The Photoshop preferences file blew
    • Made sure that Lightroom 3 points to Photoshop for the editor

I think I'll try to uninstall CS3 then. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

The usual difficulty for this and similar problems is to reinstall Photoshop CS5. Do not reinstall CS3 after CS5, otherwise it will pick up again

  • Cloud App creation went to trial for leave CC with Lightroom, Photoshop CC after installing the Update June 2016

I have two computers, we'll call desktop and laptop. I have an annual subscription to CC until April 2017. Two computers running the current version of Windows 10.

    1. on the desktop, I had worked in CC Photoshop and Lightroom CC yesterday and everything was fine.

    2. this morning after the start of my desktop (internet was and is available), I tried to open Lightroom and I had a sign on the screen (I've never seen this screen). I clicked to go to the next screen and he says: I signed the. He then continued just a loop to the sign on screen. (Same result if I tried to run Photoshop).

    3. I opened the Cloud application create (which is set to start and log in automatically). He said switch CC Photoshop and Lightroom CC to the version of June 2016. After the upgrade, the buttons next to the names of two app has said something like "Trial".

    4. I can open both CC with Lightroom and Photoshop CC, but when I view the help/Info system, it says I have a trial license. (Lightroom and Photoshop indicate I am signed- and therefore aware of my license)

    5. I did some googling issuance of the CC licenses does not:

    A. rebooted Desktop

    B. cc app, went to preferences, disconnected and connected.

    B. info to check the 'my account' (takes me to the Adobe Web site) were it confirms I have a current annual subscription.

    C. went through the steps described in this article Adobe creative stop Cloud 2015 to return to the mode of trial. No change.

    D. went through the steps described in this article: http://williambeem.com/how-to-fix-the-adobe-creative-cloud-login-error/ . No change

    E. tried to uninstall app CC (so I could reinstall CC app as stated in this article "Server unknown error" when connecting to Adobe Creative cloud ), but I can't just uninstall the app CC (Windows said that other applications depend on). (Also killed all CC app process in the Task Manager to see if I could uninstall but this does not work either).

    6. after starting my laptop, my CC app updated to Lightroom and Photoshop CC CC and licensing never returned to "trial". I DO NOT run Photoshop/Lightoom simultaneously on the laptop and desktop so this isn't a problem with the license.

    7. on the Adobe / my account of the site it says that my desktop and laptop are allowed for the CC license.

    8. on my Android phone, I am able to start mobile Lightroom and after signing in, he says: I am licensed.

Thus, on my desk, I'm left with probability in 7 days my "trial" versions of Photoshop and Lightoom will end and the apps will no longer work.

Anyone run into this and found a solution?

I finally found something that worked:

First of all, my problems were caused by the new version of the app for cloud creative that automatically downloaded and installed.3.7.0.272. Adobe should fix this problem.

Exit all Adobe CC including Creative Cloud applications (also launch Task Manager, find the CreativeCloud process and select 'end of task")

On 10 of Windows, go to the

    C:\ProgramData\Adobe

Find the folder named "SLStore" and rename it "SLStore_old".

Then I got Lightroom. It prompted me to license screen and I entered my credentials (e-mail address and my password of Adobe). It those validated and open Lightroom. I opened Photoshop and it validated because Lightroom had already gone through the process. I then opened creative cloud and for the first time in a week, it is more said that I had "evaluation version".

    Hi PhotosbyRob,

You will get all updates that might be coming as long as you continue your subscription.

  • Nikon D7100, I can't download my RAW to Lightroom files. I have read all the post, update of 3.6 to 4.4 and 5.7 with Lightroom 2015; Nothing helps!

Nikon D7100, I cannot download my RAW to Lightroom files! I have read all the post and started with Lightroom 3.6 4.4, Lightroom 2015 then Lightroom 5.7 update. Nothing helps!

The Nikon D7100 is supported from 4.4 LR on-site. So I have no idea why you have problems to import files NAVE of this camera or the card memory used in this device.

You use the Nikon software first to get images of camera or card to your hard drive? I read somewhere that the Nikon software does something for the NAVE of the files making them unreadable by LR.

  • Edit a copy with Lightroom adjustments

Suppose I have a PSD in my Lightroom catalog that has not been adjusted in Lightroom since it was catalogued.  When Photo-> Edit in...-> edit in Photoshop CC 2014, it seems to me that the default should be 'Edit Original'.  However, "edit a copy with Lightroom adjustments" is always selected by default.

Here's why I think that 'Edit the Original' is the default value appropriate for this case.  "Edit Original" told me that a second round of editing in Photoshop will be perfectly harmless.  When the default value is 'Edit a copy with Lightroom adjustments' my first reaction is to ask that if I proceeded to Lightroom adjustments for the file or not, to find out, I need to set up the film so I can see the badges, then 99% of the time I'll select 'modify the Original.

Two questions: (1) why do you think that Adobe has chosen this default?  (2) is there a way to change the default value for non - raw files with whom have no settings in Lightroom?

I am running 2015 CC Lightroom and Photoshop CC (2014).

On my system Windows 7 with LR CC 2015 the "Edit In" setting is the 'last used' setting (sticky). If I choose "First Edition" the next time I use "Edit in" that's what it shows. You see the same behavior?

I've tried everything I can think of, so, I thought I'd see if anyone can find out if there is something I can do. Or could it be that my computer just can't handle it? Help! So frustrating!  I have a Lenovo PC, I don't know if that makes a difference. Any ideas? Thanks a lot for your help!

Yesterday, I installed Photoshop CC (2014) through the creative cloud app. Now, when in Lightroom when I go to "Edit in" and select Photoshop CC (2014) and click on "edit copy with Lightroom adjustments", it opens Photoshop CC (2014) but my picture does not appear?  My picture is displayed when I click on "copy edit" or "edit original".

How can I fix this so that I can open a photo in Lightroom WITH Lightroom adjustments? Thank you!

My problem has been resolved by Adobe engineers. It seems that automatic resettlement carried out by sets of upgrade to win 10 everything to "run as Administrator". The simple solution, they told me was to disable this limitation and now everything works as it should.

  • problems with lightroom 5.3 updates in windows 7 SP1 from HP

After downloading and installing the 5.3 update I could open lightroom and it seemed to work fine. But when I tried to open an cr2 file in explore that no known program was found. I loaded to use lightroom now found in the lightroom 5.3 folder, but instead to open lightroom that the system attempted to use adobe reader, which of course did not work. Yet, now adobe reader was related to the cr2 extension. I tried to restore using 'open with' or by using the specific windows settings page, but it's still on the reader instead. Finally, I ran a system restore and tride to reinstall the update, but we're stuck trying to decompress. I canceled the installation and now it's a mess. What should I do?

You can't actually "open with...". "Lightroom - you must open the program and explicitly import the image into the Lr database.

Can't comment on separating the Adobe Reader CR2 suffix - you did that it worked, except that it won't work with Lightroom. But what about how you use Lr, no matter in fact.

  • Edit a copy with lightroom adjustment has suddenly stopped working

I used photoshop CS6 and lightroom 3.4 for quite awhile. However I can not suddenly move images from lightroom to photoshop (Ctrl + E) with the "edit a copy with lightroom adjustment".

When I click on this option, it opens the Photoshop. But does not open the image. However, the other two options "edit a copy" and "Original Edition" works very well.

Also when I add as another external editor photoshop, it works very well. But as you all are aware of this create another copy of the image.

    What I've done

I checked the path of applications for photoshop and it was OK.

    I uninstalled lightroom and reinstalled.

I just started having the same problem. When I edit a photo in Ps from Lr. The dialog box is not started, and if I edited in LR it takes adjustments and opens to the PS. I have Lr cc v2015.5.1 camera raw 9.5.1. I have reset all warning dialog boxes. Weird. I suspect that there is a bug. Any ideas?

Please start your own thread. Since you have LR CC 2015.5.1 you also PS CC 2015.1.2.

What you see is normal. When you select Edit in Photoshop LR and PS use the same version of ACR so no dialog is necessary. Your RAW image opens in PS with all the LR settings included as a type of RAW file waiting to be saved as all that you have selected the type of file in External Editor preferences of LR, PSD or TIF section. The only time you get this dialog window is if ACR versions do not match. LR uses a version more recent ACR uses the PS version you have installed.

  • windows backup simply updates existing stored files with anything new?

    Original title:

    Windows backup

I made my first backup of Windows 7 using an external hard drive. It took about 4 hours and it has used about 131 GB.  I put the computer to do it automatically every week on Sunday but I'm not sure what I have to do - probably just connect the external hard drive? However the back-up simply to update the existing files with something new? Also then see what was on the disk I couldn't see where my Live Mail is stored?

Your direct mail is stored on your e-mail server.  If your computer burns in a fire, your emails are still on the mail server of Live ready to use and download any email client.  However, if you want to save locally stored e-mail (that maybe not all), it depends on what mail program you use.  As Windows 7 has no built-in e-mail program, let me first ask what e-mail program you use.

Anyway, to answer your question of backup: Yes, only files that are new or changed since the last backup copied again.  If there is already an up-to-date copy because nothing has changed, he has not a just double, because who would waste space when backing up.

  • Microsoft cares if I use my old OS OEM with the new motherboard?

I am building a newish computer; Microsoft cares any longer, if I use my old OS OEM with the new motherboard? All of the previous answers to this question are all about 2011 are resolutely "affirmative", they care. I know that Microsoft has had a change of heart (at least I think) regarding their operating system. With the upcoming free update, I was hoping I could recycle my Windows 7 64 bit, an increase in the time up to 10 comes out.

-OEM versions don't offer any free direct support from Microsoft technical support Microsoft

-OEM Licenses are tied to the computer first you install and activate it on
