  Hello I'm a newbie here, but have some problems with BB Bold 9900 updated.

  During the update alls datas were recorded as usual during restart the BB there's an error to come, means that BB lost its operating system. I used the tips here and somwhere else to restore successfully. Unfortunately the data stored during the update process have not restored, even if the file already exists on my PC.

  The file is called LoaderBackup-(2013-09-26) .bbb - so almost similar to the usual backup file.

  Ho do I restore the data now?

  I currently own a Blackberyy Bold 9000. I have a problem, upgrade my blackberry version 4.6 to 5.0 software. When I try to upgrade, it tells me that I have enough space (missing 21Mo), as shown on this picture http://img42.imageshack.us/i/26864228.png/ . This is not normal, because I have bearly applications (Blackberry Messenger, MSN Messenger, Twitter and Facebook and that's all). In addition to this, I have a 16 GB memory card.   Here's a knockout who deals with this error:

  Unfortunately, it really does not offer much help (btw... your SD card is not relevant... only the Application memory is relevant). You might do better with this process:

  From a PC, you can install any bundle of BONES to a BB via this procedure:

  Note that although written for "reload", it can be used to upgrade, downgrade, or recharge - it depends on the OS package you download and install on your PC. You can even use a different OS package carriers simply insert, between steps 1 and 2, the deletion, on your PC, a file named PROVIDER. XML. remember that you remove from your PC, no matter what other packages devices OS BB as having more than one installed on the PC can cause conflicts with this procedure.

  If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

  Platform 52.064, there are no Applications available in the application launcher (DM Version 6.0.1.18 on Windows 7). The Smartphone works very well but unfortunately Memopad and ToDo is missing. As part of the Planer DM, these two applications are marked as not installed. Please help me how to install these applications. In the application launcher, there is ONLY "Blackberry App World"

  Try the following.  Download the operating system of your carrier's Web site and install it on your computer.  You can do this by selecting your operator from the list here: http://us.blackberry.com/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

  Once you've done that, see if necessary applications will appear in the desktop software.  If this isn't the case, then there is another method which should work.  Just to be sure, make sure you back up your first device using Desktop software first.

  On your computer, go to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\Apploader and run the Loader.exe file.  (Note: on computers 32 bit, should no (x 86) in the Program Files folder because the Program Files folder).

  Once you start the Loader.exe file, simply follow the steps until you get to the point where you can select the applications.  Now you should see the option to check the Documents To Go, notebook and any other software that has not been installed.  Once you have all the apps you want enabled, simply press next (note: leave everything that is checked as checked, unless you want to uninstall).  This should now load the applications on your BlackBerry while keeping the rest of your BlackBerry file system.

  I was with Alltel, through the merger with Verizon.  Still had my old BB Alltel until today, updated on a VZW Curve 8530.  My BB email address was @alltel.blackberry.com and I want to be able to have these emails go somewhere else but I can't use my old phone and when I try to connect to internet, alltel.blackberry.com does not recognize my user name and password.  Is there a way I can convey the alltel account email to another email address until I put in place a new on my new phone?

  Once you free alltel you got rid of your Alltel email address. If you have more service with this company I'm sorry he's gone.

  For device software 4.5 there is minor as updates: 4.5.0.54, 4.5.0.76 etc.

  And seems that Desktop Manager wants to upgrade your device to the next minor version software.

  If you don't want to do this - turn off automatic updating in the Office Manager.

• Unable to restore after error update to OS6 BlackBerry Smartphones

  My update hung state "reconnecting to jvm." I know that this has been a problem in the past. A backup was performed before installation; and although a second attempt to update has been successful, I can't find or use the backup that makes the charger. I also tried to connect the phone to another computer that I had previously saved, but now, the computer recognizes the phone as new and not as the previously saved phone. Everyone had this isssue or know how to fix? I really just need to restore contacts. Thanks for any help

  Had, if I had not been so scared by the job data that I lost, I would have thought it out much sooner. I checked in my temporary directory for the log files, where I found the charger with yesterday's date log file. I searched it for the information I was looking for and found the line indicating that she 'kept in the backup file' blah blah blah. I opened this directory to find my backup file that was waiting for me. I opened Desktop Manager and choose the restore option. I've traveled to the location of the backup file that I found and Voila! I could choose this backup to restore from, I did successfully. I hope this saves someone hurt I had, anyway I am happy.
