Updated list of compatible graphics cards

I would like to know this as the updated list of the GPU (s) approved for Creative Cloud first. The Nvidia GeForce GTX 950 is compatible with all applications in the first creative cloud?

Thanks in advance!

I think that there is a bit of misinformation here... Premiere Pro does NOT have a built-in list to the application more for what it works with cards. It is the capacity of the card, the programme seeks, not the model number. Simply a map above the current minimum specifications. So "adding a map to the list" do nothing for all users of PrPro. It is a mere formality to Yes, someone was sitting with this card & it seemed ok... that's ALL this list is nowadays.

At the time of the CS6, there was a specific file in PrPro who looked at the model of a card to see if it was 'acceptable '. Ancient history now.

There are a TON of people using PrPro, AE, SpeedGrade, prelude, regardless of the app that you like, throughout more recent-as-700 series cards. I'm on a GTX970/4 GB card and which, since almost a year now? Quite a few months at least.

    Hello

HP OEM graphics cards are made by different manufacturers to HP specifications.

If you want to try the new graphics cards and then contact the manufacturer and ask about compatibility with your specific motherboard and if the graphic card has a hybrid BIOS. (two issues)

Not all models of the NVIDIA GTX 750 will take place in every PC.  The NVIDIA GTX 750 is a highly rated graphics card. Others come with a switch to toggle between UEFI and legacy mode and then some might claim to have a hybrid of video BIOS and some claim compatibility to PCI-E 1.1.

The reality is that there is no guarantee that any particular graphics card will work in any particular PC, even if the graphics card works in other PC or even the same or similar model PCs. Know what the return policy is before you buy.

A little-known secret MSI is that if the box is "stickers" with a logo of Windows 8 then the graphics card was supposedly a BIOS hybrid.

    Hello:

Here is the link to the quickspecs for your PC.

The list of video cards supported are on page 4.

    http://WWW8.HP.com/h20195/v2/GetPDF.aspx/c04288441.PDF

Today, another factor when choosing a video card is the age / the version of BIOS in your PC vs model of the video card.

Is no longer a simple comparison of consumption of current power supply and PCI Express version.

Choose the newest on the market today probably won't work in a PC more than a year or two years.

  • P7-1245 (QW762AA): list compatible graphics cards for p7-1245 (IPISB-CU)?

I bought a ZOTAC GeForce GTX 760 for my p7-1245 with a card mother IPISB-CU. Product specifications say that the motherboard supports PCI-E x 16 video cards. I also bought a 725w diet to accommodate the new video card.

After installation, the computer hangs on the splash screen for HP. I can't even in the setting menus.

After replacing the card with the original AMD Radeon HD 7450 everything worked again.

I did some research and discovered many similar problems when people try to replace or improve the graphics cards in their HP desktops. Recommendations including the update of the bios, etc. seem to be ineffective for others, with the possible conclusion is the incompatibility of the Council itself, with the graphics card.

Maybe the card I bought requires a newer generation PCI slot and is not backward compatible?

Is there a list of compatible graphics cards for the card mother IPISB-CU?

    Thanks for any help.

First, ask yourself "is there something better than that, which corresponds to and is not low profile?  No, because there ONLY cards that will fit must be small footprint!

Second, 7750 HD cards are often recommended as a good choice for the Dells - unique slot and low power requirements.  I am running a 7750 HD in my own 780 MT, having chosen as the best choice for fit and performance.  That said, your power supply of the SFF is only 235W, which is very marginal.  I've seen reports of others by means of this type of card in a 780 SFF, but you should make sure, that it is not overtax the power, depending on what you have in your computer.

  • Pavilion G6 1304SM: not updated for Win10, AMD graphics card causes serious productivity issues

    Hello.

I bought my laptop around August 2012. A week ago I updated my computer laptop Windows 10 x 64 to Windows 7 x 64 operating system. Then I did a clean install of Windows.

I got almost all the driver through Windows Update software. However, the driver for my graphics (Intel HD 3000 + AMD Radeon HD M 7450), I received is defective.

In Device Manager, the AMD graphics card is referred to as "AMD Radeon HD 7000 series" instead of "AMD Radeon HD M 7450" (the way he recalled on Windows 7).

On the site Web of the product on hp.com, where I used to see a large list of all downloadable drivers, specially designed for this computer, HP only pasted a label reading "Windows 10 drivers can be downloaded via Windows Update."

Running in graphical mode fixed, AMD is shown with a yellow exclamation point in Device Manager (I tried to update, but it says I have the latest version). I can't disable the Intel card, otherwise I'm stuck with a resolution of 800 x 600.

In dynamic mode (the one I'm used to working on), I used to set which application uses what GPU via the Catalyst Control Center. However, now when I do that, if an application is set to run under AMD GPU, it never starts. (It will allocate about 30 MB in RAM - visible via the Task Manager - but will not open the main window). If I change the GPU to Intel, the slopes of the app, but under limited return capabilities.

I use extensively chart AMD. Not being is not able to use it causes problems of great productivity for me. Are there possible solutions for me, not to mention that roll back to Windows 7?

    Hello @tbc3434,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I read your post on the switchable graphics and wanted to help you!

You can try to download graphics drivers for Windows 7/8.  If you're still having problems, then you can opt to go back to a previous generation option, in your system settings:

HP Notebook PC - upgrade to Windows 10

Once you return to your original operating system, check to see if you encounter the same problem. If this isn't the case, then you can consider holding off on upgrading Windows 10 until the drivers can be updated.

Please let me know if this information helps you solve the problem by marking this message as 'accept as Solution' , this will help others easily find the information they seek.  In addition, by clicking on the Thumbs up below is a great way to say thank you!

I need to update my graphics card. Surfing the web, I saw a lot of people who have problems to upgrade the video card in particular problems with their motherboard bios o... also if they upgrade the version of the bios to 7.12.

  • XW4300 compatible graphics card

Is there a list of graphics cards compatible with the HP XW4300 workstation - the old quickspecs are perhaps obsolete with high-end PCIe cards classified: NVIDIA FX 3450 (256 MB), FX 4550 (512 MB).   Am really looking for approximately 512 MB - not too expensive.    Better - what are the rules of compatibility in the evaluation of all current market of graphics cards

Thanks for the information.  I'll have to check the questions you put.  Back to you - you say "" for the best compatibility, I recommend that you consider only PCI Express x 16 v.1.0 - 2.0 cards video. ""     so the system will take PCIe 2.0 but not higher?

V PCIe 2.0 and above is supposed to be backward compatibility, but this isn't always the case. That's why I suggest for a PCIe 2.0 compatibility and lower to save you the hassle of a card does not not as expected. This also applies when upgrading to a hard drive SATA (electromechanical or SSD).

  • Compatible graphics cards?

    I have laptop Alienware M15X.

Used worked perfectly until one afternoon, the games have begun to "stutter", lag, "going too fast" (in games like TF2 and L4D2 for example).

Very definitely not my network (I have a low ping, also I called to make sure that the ISP has no blacklist of servers, and I checked the traffic. Not to mention I have no lag nowhere elsewhere).

I tried to turn down all the options (no not necessary since this morning, it worked perfectly at the top), update the drivers. Everything.

I already reset the laptop to factory default just in case there was a pilot cause (he was not. I have not installed anything new). Did not help.

I guess that my card graph bitten the dust?

I had a (Vista) ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730.

Possibility to upgrade? If Yes, where can I find a list of compatible cards? It is recommended as an upgrade?

    Hello

I bought a desktop computer (Compaq Presario SR1921IL) in 2006.

Configuration: PD-820(2.8GHz), 256 MB of RAM, 160 GB SATA HARD, Combo DVD player, MODEM, FREE DOS drive.

It has integrated graphics card Ati Radeaon xpress 200 .

Later I upgraded RAM from 256 to 1 GB and OS for Windoxs XP

I was able to play 2 games released before 2005-06 perfectly but my graphics (Ati Radeaon xpress 200) did not support the games fate after that.

So now, I want to update the graphics card for the purpose of the game.  I'm saving that even after updrading it will b limits and I'm not going 2 b able to play the latest games, always I want 2 upgrade and push my limits CPU.

    Plsss help me...

Here are the specifications of your desktop Compaq Presario SR1921IL. Based on the specifications, this model should support the use of most v1.0, v1.1 and v2.0 PCIe x 16 graphics cards. Examples of these cards HERE. You can stay away from any model Radeon HD 5xxx, given that reports that these are incompatible with some older models of HP/Compaq. You may also need to upgrade the power supply to meet the needs of your new video card depending on what you select.

  • Satellite C50D - A - 13 G - compatible graphics card

    Hello

I have the Toshiba laptop C50D - A - 13 G with an AMD Radeon HD8400 graphics card. If I understand correctly it is integrated and not replaceable, however it is possible to add another card and do a single defect?

    Thank you.

Due to specific design material, update on mobile machinery is quite limited. What can be changed or upgraded's RAM or HARD drive.
Exchange GPU or upgrade is not possible.

What is the problem with your machine? I assume that you are not so happy with graphics performance, right?

As far as I know each laptop with Windows XP Home edition is preinstalled with DirectX9. Video editing is generally not a problem, and you can do with each unit. In my opinion important is how the unit is powerful because of the procedure of decoding complex if you want to create own DVD.

I did it with Qosmio G20 without any problem.
