Updated list of endpoint at ISE

Hello everyone,

We have 1.4 ISE, sometimes I don't see ip address to the list of endpoint to endpoint when I select endpoint, I see the ip address to the report or I have two devices with the same IP (old and new points of termination), Mac addresses are different. How can I update list of endpoint?

Kind regards...

ISE maintains endpoint information based on the latest information he has given/collected for this endpoint. The endpoint information, for example the IP address, should be updated once him defrosting reconnects to the network. If the old device does not connect to the network again, ISE will keep the latest information known or purge feature (if the purge is activated).

I hope this helps!

I am running Vista 32 bit sp1. I just tried to install the new version of Windows update, among other updates agent. He was doing some editing, but I canceled it. These updates have been identified as being cancelled in the update history. After that, I did a restore to a previous restore point. Then I noticed that the Windows Update list has been removed. I don't know what happened. How does restore delete Windows Update list? I just tried to restore the system to a half hour earlier. The updated list should always have all my updates of the past year.

    Peter,
Once the updated history list has been cleared, then it starts fresh from there.  However, you can see all the updates installed in the Add/Remove Programs list.

Microsoft Update lists an Office 2007 Winword update optionally with an absolutely useless article in KB 974561.  (Je_peux_seulement_imaginer_le_processus_interne_qui_a) generates a page of boilerplate tasteless ridicuously and then b) enables it to be published.)  There is no information I can find about what fixes are included in this update, why it is optional, when it should be installed (or not) - nothing!  He's right there.  Can you give us any information at all about what made this update, why are there, and who should install it?

  • Windows Update list updates pending

Windows Update, listing many of the latest news from security as pending with 80242014 error

I still 4 security updates pending, one for Internet Explorer 9 and the other three are for Vista.  I have read most of the related posts for answers on how to solve this problem and either they do not apply or they are not working to solve the problem, I had this problem before with With Windows Update and the previous one "Cumulative Update for Internet Explorer 9" and took two months before that Microsoft has released a patch to fix the problem. Well, here I still looking for answers. Is this related to security patches or the Windows Update program itself.

BTY, in Internet Explorer in the help tab menu I selected 'On Internet Explorer 9' you see the latest security patch was installed (sometimes it is listed here if the installation was successful, and the last security update has been applied).
The last update of security has been listed, but in Windows Update in the section "View installed updates", it has the last update as pending with error code: 80242014. I don't know how to make sure Windows Vista-related security updates are installed. So, I really thought I should ask before interfering with the registry.
I really believe that my problem is with the Windows Update program itself.   Yet once, I've had this problem before with Culumulative updates to Internet Explorer 9. But I don't remember the difficulty that I found here in the forms of community. Basically, I've tried all my known ideas and corrections ("sfc/scannow", etc.) to fix these security-related updates. I use no Security Essentials, except just the Windows Firewall, Windows Defender and Norton Antivirus Software. I need help to find out if these updates are really installed and Windows Update files are damaged, or if they should be given up. By any other method, when I tried to download and re - install myself, I got this message box "the update does apply to your system" I'm confused why Windows Update tries to install the updates that apply to my system in the first place? Please help!

    Thank you sincerely,

    Ganine V. Edwards

  • I checked the updates, but the updates list box would stop now.

    * Original Title: Windows Update

I am running windows 7 64 bit sp1. I formatted my computer yesterday morning after installation of windows and office, I checked for updates, and the updates list box would stop now. He ran for 24 hours until 11:00 and still the same, to research. Everything is enabled for the update services and. Any help?

Just did this yesterday and today...

    Windows Update does not work

This is a very common problem lately.  The tool the more importantly you need right now is a lot of patience.  Resources Windows Microsoft Update are prioritize the updates of Windows 7 to a very low service level and have been since the beginning of summer 2015.  It is not uncommon that the update of Windows to take one night.

In many cases, the following rather simple and fast process works.

http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/windows8_1-update/Windows-Update-problem-error-code-80080008/de8114b5-1487-4B31-9b28-f11974718df1?auth=1  This thread has essentially lists a series of commands that I found generally fixed WU.

Start, all programs, accessories, right-click on command prompt, select run as administrator, OK.  Type the following in the black box:

    1. net stop wuauserv
    2. net stop cryptSvc
    3. net stop bits
    4. net stop msiserver
    5. Ren SoftwareDistribution.old C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution
    6. Ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 catroot2.old
    7. net start wuauserv
    8. net start cryptSvc
    9. net start bits
    10. net start msiserver
    11. pause
    12. Output

Services of type in the text box above the start planet.  Find each of the following items and make sure they are set to automatic: Intelligent Transfer in the background, cryptographic, Windows Installer, Windows Update services.  Double-click on each item and choose automatic.

If you still have a problem, try this.  It will take a long time, but in almost all gets case Windows Update back on the right track.

    1. Download and run the appropriate version for your system KB947821 update readiness tool system.  https://support.Microsoft.com/en-CA/KB/947821 32-bit systems X 86.  X 64 64-bit systems.  This is likely to take some time (may be several hours) because it makes all kinds of resets.
    2. Download KB3102810 directly from the Microsoft web site and install it.  https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/KB/3102810

Now restart Windows Update.  Do NOT restart Windows.   Be very, very sick, it will probably take a while.

  • revalidate previously profiled endpoints of ISE

    Hello

I had a peek at MAC spoofing with ISE 2.1.0.474

I use RADIUS/SNMP trap and queries and probes DHCP. A Cisco 7911 phone correctly is profiled as "Cisco-IP-Phone-7911. Endpoint in ISE shows all the correct details of cdp/lldp/dhcp

When I connect my windows laptop (MAC spoofing phones), the laptop computer is authenticated as the phone. Endpoint is always profiled as "Cisco-IP-Phone-7911" - endpoint shows details of correct dhcp for the laptop but retains the cdp/lldp profile phone details previously. I checked the n and cache device sensor has no cdp/lldp details for the laptop connected and accounting device sensor sends only mobile dhcp from tlv to ISE.

If I delete the end point of the ISE and connect my laptop (even once, spoofing phones MAC), ISE profiles properly the laptop as "Microsoft-workstation.

When I disconnect the laptop and reconnect the phone, ISE re-profiles the end as a "Cisco-IP-Phone-7911" based on newly learned information from cdp/lldp point.

ISE can learn new details of endpoint by the probes and reporter endpoint as shown above. I reason to say that ISE postpone endpoint based on the fact that some attributes (for example cdp/lldp) kept from appearing - when new attributes are learned?

    Thank you
    Andy

    Hello Andy,

What you are experiencing is correct and should the behavior with the current mechanisms of ISE. There is an enhancement request that was put in place some time, but he has not seen much traction:

    https://BST.cloudapps.Cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCur48184

The only time wherever a device would move one profile to another group is when a profiling rule with certainty factor higher is reached. For example, if you create a custom CF rule of 100 and this rule is struck then a device profile will never move to another rule which has CF which is<= to="">

As you can tell, profiling is not the test. This is why it is recommended to restrict access to the network for targeted devices. For example, IP phones should just join the subnets of the voice and the PBX, printers should only need to access the print servers on specific ports, etc.

    I hope this helps!

  • Updated list of compatible graphics cards

I would like to know this as the updated list of the GPU (s) approved for Creative Cloud first. The Nvidia GeForce GTX 950 is compatible with all applications in the first creative cloud?

    Thanks in advance!

I think that there is a bit of misinformation here... Premiere Pro does NOT have a built-in list to the application more for what it works with cards. It is the capacity of the card, the programme seeks, not the model number. Simply a map above the current minimum specifications. So "adding a map to the list" do nothing for all users of PrPro. It is a mere formality to Yes, someone was sitting with this card & it seemed ok... that's ALL this list is nowadays.

At the time of the CS6, there was a specific file in PrPro who looked at the model of a card to see if it was 'acceptable '. Ancient history now.

There are a TON of people using PrPro, AE, SpeedGrade, prelude, regardless of the app that you like, throughout more recent-as-700 series cards. I'm on a GTX970/4 GB card and which, since almost a year now? Quite a few months at least.

  • Group of endpoint Cisco ISE 1.4 hotspot

    Patch 1.4 Cisco ISE 6

    Cisco WLC 8.0.121

    Setup

the WLC has a named Hotspot SSID. It uses mac auth with radius of the NAC to redirect to the Hotspot portal of reviews on the ISE.

drops flexconnect users in vlan 401 (with preAuthAcl), after the PSU, it is initially a COA to move users to VLANs 413 with permitInternetAcl

    Description of the problem:

users connect to the SSID of the access point and get an IP address valid in vlan 401

redirected to the page of the hotspot on the ISE with a PSU and the PIN code request.

are they disconnect from the network and reconnect, the ISE sends a certificate of authenticity to move to 413 without the Hotspot portal.

what I've noticed, is that as soon as users get the redirect of the original Web page, they are moved to the endpoint group defined in the hotspot portal.

What I've read about this behavior makes me understand that it is a default behavior, but if that's the case then I'm not sure on how I can make my font to check if the PSU has been accepted.
