Updates being installed.

When I turned off my computer, it shows that he configures updates and it takes 30 minutes before his arrest.  The next time I turn on my computer, it shows installation updates 1 of 3 and 3 of 3 past 0% and then it goes into a vicious circle of the stop and restart with the same message.  I restored my computer to before this update and was able to boot my computer.  I've changed how updates are installed, but two weeks later, the same problem occurred.  When I tried to do a restore.  I got an error message (0 x 80070570) - file or directory is corrupted and unreadable, and I can't do a restore.  So now I can not even boot my computer.  Help, please.

Download the ISO on the provided link and do a repair of the disc.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.

Read all the info on the website on how to create and use it.

ISO Burner: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html

It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.

You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.

It is NOT a disc of resettlement.

  • Windows Update fails continually after February 9 release of updates being installed

I read a ridiculous amount of discussion regarding the 9 February/10 updates to update Windows causing errors, but I have not found a solution to my problem yet. I have Vista 32 bit home Premium SP2. Dell XPS M1330. Core2Duo 2.4 GHz. 4 GB OF RAM.
I'm not new to pc errors, especially dealing with Windows Update, but still, I got error Code 80070005. After installing the infamous February 9 updates, Windows Update indicates an error continually and says he cannot get update. Several times I restored my computer back a few days before these updates in question, and all is well. I let it sit for a few days hoping Microsoft would remove updates, and I've even noticed that the update reading 'pending' - which, after reading several threads told to leave this update turned off that it was probably the update of 'problem '. Well regardless, I installed the rest updates, with the exception of this one, and I still get the same error again. I don't understand why Windows just will not remove 'defective' updates if they are constantly problems. In the meantime, does anyone know a fix for this problem. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You stop this msg by reviewing windows update settings and select it to inform, and then you choose your own time to install.

However if this msg appears that often, you should review the history update windows to asertain what updates fail, you then have to fix this problem

You try to follow the philosophy of Apple to make things more 'user-friendly' by hiding functionality. It is perhaps fine for beginners - but you do more technical and experienced power users frustrated by your dumbed-down approach.

I moved away from all the apple - products and material for this reason, since he takes control of advanced users and is also an indication of the company trying to argue their approach one-fits-all and owner-ship of customer behavior.
