• Automatic update does not work anymore

  My problem is that automatic update does not work anymore and when I try to next turn to the I get some really long file name is missing. I can not down load and reinstall Security Center because it will not only because it is included in Vista. I can't load it updates as the software that is designed to do this does not work.   Whenever I go to Firefox/subject to check the version, I will be shown what is apparently the latest version and the computer will check for updates, then tell me that Firefox is updated. The folder c:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution/windows/download exist with only 2 files with names very long gibberish and it is only 15 kb and the other file is 39 k, which seems to be far big enough for any update. I was wondering if instead of the clean install from the recovery partition would be any different doing a clean install from the recovery disks that I did when I got the laptop? see you soon

  Made no difference with update disk and these 2 small updates are only updated Adobe and after 3 off straight, the bar is still meandering along, my update history shows only updates from 2012 when win7 was installed everything first... * beep * Microsoft!

  Yesterday, I decided I had enough and started to install windows from a download 10 earlier, but after it began, I thought "no you know you hated" so I canceled the installation. That's about 3 hours later when I went to stop the laptop it says close and install the updates, so, after 4 hours of installing updates 251 and restarted then installed another 41 updates, then again on the next closure, so basically, I think that the few installation the windows 10 made seemed to start updates to speed?

• After upgrade to El Capitan Time Machine does not automatically

  Recently, I upgraded my Macbook Pro and iMac 24 to El Capitan.  Time Machine does not automatically work on the iMac.   I now use the backup to get a backup to run.  MacBook Pro is very well.

  Thinking that this might be the associated time Capsule, I removed the disc from the Capsule and ran Spinrite on it.  Car is very good.  Then I deleted all the files on the Time Capsule and created new Time machine backups on two computers.  No problem, except the iMac not run automatically Time machine.

  I've always used Windows updates to warn me of updates and then I install them. Normally Windows Defender is updated daily through windows updates.

  For some reason, he is not showing / offering of windows defender updates.
