"Updates weren't configuered correctly. Changes in return ".

You keep to spoil the details so I can not really understand what happened when. That being said...

Have you installed an Avira application (any Avira application) for the first time before or after you run the Norton Removal Tool & restarted?

PS: I, too, suffer from Syndrome of CRS so I understand you.

============================================
* Remember not S *.

The first time I installed Avira was after I ran Norton Removal tool, rebooted and ran CCleaner.

  • Failed to update Windows 8 (KB2756872, KB2768703), happens to 30% then get error "failure Configuring Windows updated. Changes in return ".

    I installed 2 updates.

    I installed both of them using the standalone installer which.
    First, I checked the updates using Windows updates and then installer of stand-alone download from the link more information if I can use this update later.

    Here are the 2 updates I try to install:
    1 Windows8-RT-KB2756872 - x 64
    2 Windows8-RT-KB2768703 - x 64

    I rebooted my system after installing the updates.
    Windows configures updates up to about 30% and the system gets stopped and restarted.
    Then he went it 100% and all of a sudden, I got a message something like:
    "Failure of Windows updated. Changes in return ".
    It is just returned

    Here are all the logs files (CBS.log, WindowsUpdate.log, WindowsUpdate (1) .log)
    http://bobdn.com/files/logs.zip

    Please tell me how can I get the update installed successfully.

    I finally solved my problem with the update kb2756872 ("update failed, returning of changes"). It was caused by the reserved partition Windows is not set to active (I dual boot using GRUB). Go to the Control Panel-> administrative tools control->-> computer managementdisk management and make sure that the reserved partition is marked 'Active'. This also solves many other problems I experienced as not able to activate Windows startup settings.

  • Default configuration of the Windows updates. Restoration of the changes. Do not turn off your computer

    Hi, I just refreshed my laptop that I got a few drops FPS at random. Initially, it worked fine, but after a while before instaled Norton started to cause me problems. At this time I uninstalled it and when he asked me to computer restatr now, I did. Now I'm stuck with this message window loading. Restart the computer from time to time, but the message is always the same: failure of configuration of Windows updates. Restoration of the changes. Do not turn off your computer.
    Computer: hp pavilion n006sm
    Operating system: win 8 pre-installed
    At the moment I'm stuck on this window for over an hour and nothing has changed

    Seems that problem solved by itself. As I correctly uninstalled Norton, I just put my automatic updates and restarted my laptop again. He installed the updates with no problem and its working fine. Seems that Norton was really the problem, will keep you informed.

    I can't update 8.1 store window without updating the window.

    You do not add features to upgrade 8 > 8.1

    That's the Pro and Media Center that do not need another product key and that are no longer available.

    And the creation of media for 8.1 works; I just checked it a minute ago.

    We have three level model master / detail.

    The first and the second level is 1 to 1

    If we make on the other hand, the second-level table, the iterator for the third level table IS updated, to action - such as changing the current line.

    We worked arround by 'hide' the second table level in a group separator collapsed. Is there another way to get arround this problem?

    Top-level iterator:
