  I tried to use the recovery CD (XP) for my fathers Qosmio F10. I chose option 1 to return to the factory default. It seems to work fine but after it's over he says remove the CD and reboot I did. It was then restarted but flashed a blue screen for a split second before restarting. I did not see what is the Blue error screen, as it flashes up too fast.   First of all, you are not right. Windows XP also works with the low value of the memory.

Anyone have any ideas on how to make this laptop less noisy?
