  Hello

  I am looking to upgrade the HARD drive on my 2410-504 but have found no information on what limitations there are on a HARD drive more large size.

  The thread by Sherlock for the upgrade of 2410-404 suggests a load up to 60 GB capacity, but the user for the 504 manual says it was only produced in 20 and 30 GB packages.

  Anyone know what is the largest capacity HARD drive that can be placed in a 504 and who will always be recognized by BIOS, etc?

  This information can give you the right Service partner of Toshiba (responsible for the hardware upgrade) or an independent hardware vendor.
  I can imagine that 60 GB HARD drive should not be problem, but with more than that can cause HARD drive is not recognized correctly.

  Call them and ask. Ask doesn? t cost a lot.

  normally, you don't need to bother with the brands of MHz' are and stuff like that. If you point out that you want to buy (recommended) Toshiba memory original option for this model, nor a f.ex. use a 3rd Kingston memory advantage - you just say "I have this model, give me a 256, 512 memory or whatever."
  It will then work perfect in your system as well as the memory you already have.

  I intend to buy a desktop XPS 8700 special edition. I am disappointed that it doesn't give options for this model - for hard drives, only "2 TB 7200 RPM SATA Hard Drive 6.0 Gb/s + 256 GB SSD"-which is obviously a good combination, but for me, I think that a smaller SSD drive would be nice.   Thanks for your comments. It isn't that much of a difference in cost between the 128 GB and 256 GB SSD. Dell is probably buying in bulk from the right and customer demand now, most people want 256 GB or more. You are absolutely right that 128 GB is plenty for the OS and applications. I have a 250 GB Samsung Evo and have used less than 50 GB for the operating system, office and all my other apps.

  I have a user who sometimes creates and modifies forms using Acrobat 8 Pro. It uses Live Cycle for some forms. We need to upgrade it to a newer version. I am aware that Live Cycle is now a separate license. What are my upgrade options - if any? Just buy a new license for Acrobat Pro and Live Cycle? Can I still purchase XI or DC my only choice. We are not interested in the characteristics of the clouds.

  You can only buy DC Acrobat from Adobe.

  You will need to purchase LiveCycle Designer separately.

  I have ESXi 4.1 update 1 currently installed (vSphere Hypervisor). We do not vCenter.

  I'm trying to find the best option for the upgrade of the hypervisor, ESXi 4.1 U1 to ESXi 4.1 U3. I must:

  1 using the Installable version, and once installation is complete, restore the configuration settings using a configuration file saved with PowerCLI?

  2. use a version upgrade from 4.1 U3 with vihostupdate?

  There are a couple of documentation on foot and hollows that explain how patch a single host (for example http://www.vladan.fr/how-to-update-the-esxi-4-1-free-version-to-esxi-4-1-update-1/) in your case just replace the patch bundle with Update--esxi4.1 - 4.1_update03

  Ensure that all virtual machines are (non-suspended) turned off before applying the batch of patches.

  I hope I am posting this in the correct place. I have an old Dell 4700 [Amin Note: Service Tag published by policy TOU] and I recently started to restore for occasional use. It has Windows 7 Ultimate on it and the original 256 MB 1Rx16 pair sticks of memory PC2-3200U-333-10-C1 with that he came. I turn to most compatible memory available for this model. Someone (with the final tone in their voices) can explain what memory to buy and complete all 4 locations with? This always seems to spawn a debate on how fast the PC and which can and cannot be run in this machine.

  This will be used primarily by my girlfriend and 2 teens to surf on the internet and retro games like Fallout 1 and 2, Dungeon Keeper II and Master Of Orion 2. Nothing really graphic intensive. It is the treatment of films as a media server, the ability to move the files in a big number all by managing downloads and sending files and folders tablets and phones while posting to social networks that will be bogged down there.   RAM maximum supported by the Dimension 4700 is 4 GB memory DDR2 [4 x 1 GB modules].

  Note: Although you can install 4 GB of memory in the Dimension 4700, unless you have a 64 bit system, your system will address only 3 GB + - memory.
