Upgrade RAM TOSHIBA KIRA-107

Hello

I would like to buy TOSHIBA KIRA-107, but see that the specification has only 8 GB of RAM.

Could you tell me if the RAM can be upgraded to 16 GB or more.

Any advice welcome on this.

Thanks in advance.
EamonOD

It should be possible to get 16 GB of RAM as the Intel Core i7-5500U CPU supports the 16 GB

  • Toshiba KIRA-107 without touchscreen

Hello, I just bought a new 107 KIRA, I think it has a touchscreen, but so far no touch screen feature works.

Detection tool, has stated that this laptop is a KIRA 107 with touchscreen, so I think that this is not a problem that I would get a bad product. In settings/PC PC info it is said that no pens or seized touch is available for this view.

In Device Manager"the monitor is presented as a 'generic PnP monitor' and in display panel the display device is presented as"Internal LCD". I installed the latest display driver that I downloaded from the support Web site, but nothing has changed.

Could you please tell me what is wrong with it and how to fix it?

    Thank you!

Kira model supports different display screens.

Some models like Kira 10-D support common-slab IPS with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 px and some models like Kira 107 support IPS 2.560 slab x 1,440 px with a touchscreen feature 10 fingers.

In your case I recommend that you set the notebook back to factory settings. After this check if the touch screen is activated.

  • Tecra Z40 - A - the upgrade (RAM RAM)

    Hi all

Ordered little RAM to upgrade my Toshiba Tecra Z40 - A, but can not find, for the life of me, anything where you want to insert online.

I previously installed RAM under the keyboard (couple of clips holding it) and on the other, a small cover on the bottom, but the Z40 does not appear to be anywhere easily accessible.

Has anyone upgraded RAM on the Z40? Or is it a big no, no, because of the guarantee?

    Thank you
    Lance

Memory upgrade on this model Tecra is a bit complicated and, in my view, should not be done by the owner of the laptop. For some models of Ram upgrade can be done by the owner of the laptop and exact instructions how do proposed in document s user manuals, but not for your Tecra.

For full access to the RAM modules lower lid should be removed and it can be done by people of service only. If you do this alone you can void the warranty valid.
I recommend you contact the nearest Toshiba service provider in your country and ask for help or advice.

  • Upgrade Ram on a Netbook NB200 - 00L

I gave to my two daughters a Netbook Toshiba NB200 - 00L. Both came loaded with Windows 7 Starter. If I just upgrade to Windows Home Premium, it will slow down computers. I was told that the maximum ram that can take netbooks is 1gig. However, I keep seeing that people are upgraded to 2gigs. I want to upgrade the ram so that Windows Home Premium will work better. Can someone enlighten me on this subject. Upgrading ram Home Premium support will be more effective? Also, is anyone Home Premium running on their netbooks without upgrading, and it is really slow? Thank you

    Hello

AFAIK NB200 can be upgraded to 2 GB of RAM. Therefore, you can check the specs on the Toshiba site!

I m not NB200 owner but I improved my other laptops equipped with modules from Kingston. I've never had a problem with these modules. They always run stable and don t make problems.

    Hello

First some general information on your machine:
Your laptop can be upgraded to the top 8 GB and max upgrade, you can use both modules of memory of 4 GB.
Compatible 4 for GB DDR3 - 1066 MHz apart number PA3677U-1M4G. Module of memory with this part number is tested and 100% compatible with your device.

If you check this forum you will find number of threads as your one, where people try to level of RAM using Rams Corsair and spoke of the same problems. Obviously the reason for non-working machine is compatibility issue with these RAM modules.

The 'value' Modules of RAM use many markets good chips using several banks/channels, which can cause problems of compatibility with some chipsets/CPUS.

I highly recommend to use high quality and 100% compatible modules of RAM from Toshiba or Kingston.

  • Slow down the internet using Toshiba LX830-107 running Win7

    HY

I have a problem of speed limit on my Toshiba LX830-107 all-in-one with Win7 Pro 32-bit. Web from Toshiba support site, I can't find a driver for Win7 Pro 32 bit lan. I installed the driver lan for 32-bit Win8 without error, but with this speed to 9 mb instead of 94 MB limit as it is on other computers on the network. Also, I noticed that my network card does not work as a gigabit card as it is. How can I solve this problem? because I need to use Win7 32-bit due to a compatibility problem with some applications installed on my device.

    Kind regards

According to the specifications of computer map, the device supports the Atheros (Atheros AR8161/8162) LAN card 1000BASE-T/100Base-TX/10Base-T

As far as I know, you can change some options LAN in the BIOS.
Check if you can switch between 1000/100/10

You can also check the properties of the LAN (the - LAN card - Manager device properties) card
Here you will find further options in the "Advanced" tab

I'm having some trouble with my Portege 4000 for the moment. I installed XP on a disk, but will no longer have that I have 256 MB of RAM...

    The protégé 4000 is compatible with the PC133 modules! AFAIK, you can upgrade RAM of this notebook 1 GB (1024 MB) and you can use these modules;
    PC133 512 MB (PA3108U - 1 M 51)
    PC133 256 MB (PA3086U - 1 M 25)
    PC133 128 MB (PA3085U - 1 M 12)

You can create partitions on the HARD drive using a 3rd party like Partition Magic 8 tool. I use this tool and it's really nice.
After you create 2 or three partitions on the HARD disk, you could install different OS (operating systems).
