upgrade to power a6650f

Hello

I want to improve my diet the foregoing 300W for new video card. Suggestions for the type should I use?

Thank you

I forgot to mention, I also put an EVGA GeForce 9500 GT PCI - E in my a6650f graphics card.  So with the video card and the Antec PSU I've added, everything works fine.

  • Pavilion 6620f: upgrade of power

I need a 400W power supply upgrade. What is a compatible PS?

When you ask for help you show the model as p6620f.  It is the complete model.  It is necessary to look at the specifications.

The computer takes a standard ATX power supply unit (PSU).  I love Corsair products.  This is a good food with a lot of comments.  Read the reviews to see what users have to say about it.  You can buy a power supply 500W for a few dollars more.

  • Pavilion 6540y: the upgrading of power supply and graphics card

I need to update my graphics card. What is the best inexpensive card graphics and power supply to buy for my HP Pavilion 6540 Y. I use it mainly for work and graphic design. Currently, the stock video card doesn't have enough memory to effectively run Photoshop and painter with three monitors. Photoshop's request at least 512 M of memory for what I do, but I'd like to at least 1 GB. Sometimes I will have Photoshop and painter running at the same time.

    Hello

I love the Corsair CX500 or the 520w Seasonic because they adapt to the physical dimensions for your PC.

Your first consideration should be Support HP or HP sales during the consideration of upgrades or replacement of memory. If you want to consider other manufacturers of the best way to avoid memory problems is to contact one of the leading manufacturers of memory. I would recommend that you try the tools of these manufacturers: Corsair, Kingston andCrucial. Once you have determined the DIMMs that you need, then contact commercial or technical support to check that you have selected the correct DIMMS. If you buy directly from manufacturers, then they will stand behind their products.

  • Pavillion 500-214: I have a HP Pavilion 500-214 and need to upgrade the power supply to support a new video card

I'm upgrading my video card, and the other needs at least 400w.  The existing PSU is only 300w.  What is a power supply compatible to be installed in the Pavilion 500-214?

    Well, we meet again.

While the minimum requirement is power for most video cards 400W, I always offer at least 500W; 600W is even better.  This will allow a high maximum operating power.  A modular power supply is good in a medium-sized business, because just use cables that are absolutely necessary.  This allows for better circulation of air in the case.

This is a power supply that should work for you.  You should check the measurements of the existing PSU (5.9 x 5.5 x 3.4 inches) with the measures of the new power supply to ensure that it will not go in the space provided.  The PSU is the backbone of the computer, this is not the place to save money.

  • DC 7600 SFF: Upgrading of power on my HP DC7600 SFF

Hi, I have a DC 7600 Small Form Factor desktop computer and it comes with a power supply of 240 watts. I want to put a x 16 PCI express graphics card and that is why I want to upgrade the PSU for probably a higher with about 400-450 watts. Can someone please guide me which would correspond to what kind of power supply in this case of machine as ATX, mATX, PS3, PS2, etc. SFX. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you guys!

    You are the very welcome.

I don't think that is correct.

The main power connector to the motherboard in a standard atx P/S has 24 pins and I believe that if you check the main power connector to the motherboard on your dc7600, it has only 20 pins.

I know that the card with 1 GB of only prints 29 w.  One with 2 GB of memory probably attracts a little more.

You must be well with the 1 GB and maybe very well with the 2 GB.

I like to use this calculator power supply useful for determining if a card that I want to install is a good choice for me without upgrading the P/S.

  • HP G5470UK - upgrade the power supply

I want to install a more powerful graphics card but told me that before I do so I need to upgrade the PSU in my G5470uk of the machine.  Currently of 300w, what would be the recommended size of a power supply for this particular stock pc - there is no other upgrade again.

    Thanks in advance

According to the power requirements of the video card you are considering, the Corsair CX430, CX500, CX600, CX500M, or CX600M should meet your needs. These power supplies are highly recommended and are known to adapt to most HP consumer PCs.

I buy a Hp Pavilion computer 550-036 and discovered that feeding electric 180w, this computer can be upgraded to a higher power supply.  I have other computers and their power is 300w, it's the lst computer, I've seen with low power

Upgrade to 30 Watts, this isn't a problem.

Motherboard Memphis2-s in your desktop PC requires a standard motherboard 4 + 20 or 24-pin connector as well as a 4 CPU power connector pins.  Make sure is that the candidate of the power supply is the standard variety of the industry instead of a Dell and other types of industrial property.

    Hello

Try the Corsair CX500, CX600 or CS550m as they are the same dimensions are the power supply in your PC. The CS550m would be my choice.

  • HP Pavilion 500-326na: upgrade of power supply for HP Pavilion 500-326na

Last year, I bought a HP Pavilion 500-326na. I now want to update its graphics and to do this, I need to power level. I want to upgrade to a CX500, but the specs say that his current power is "external". I don't know what this means, and indeed, I don't know if I will be able to upgrade. I see no reason why I shouldn't be, but everything I've seen only offers assistance on internal types.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hello

Look at the power supply cord.  If you have a device of black brick similar to those for portable computers, then you have an external power supply. PC with external cannot be upgraded with the installation of an internal power supply as a Corsair CX500 according to HP internal.

  • Looking to update my video card without upgrading my power 250 Watt on my Pavillion 6837c

Looking for suggestions as to what would be a good update on the cheap card I recently added 14 GB of RAM so the thing is fast enough, that I would like to just the films to be a little more transparent, any suggestions? Thank you! -josh

    Joshua, welcome to the forum.

Any video card that would work with your power supply (PSU), be much, if any, better than the integrated video.  New middle level cards require at least 350W to 400W power.  Therefore, if you don't want to upgrade the PSU, I recommend staying with the integrated graphics subsystem.  In fact, the problem is to find a card that works.  Manufacturers do not give the requirements of power on their lower level cards.

If you decide to improve the PSU, I like Corsair and OCZ.  That would give you many more choices of cards.  I love EVGA, Sapphire, XFX and PNY in that order.

Note: Remember that your system is not as good as the weakest component.  With the CPU and memory that you have a better map would greatly increase performance.

  • Need of advice, the GPU upgrade and power

Since this is my first post here I would start by saying hello to everyone. I recently bought an HP Elite M9400t Core 2 Duo Quad 2.5 GHz. It came with 4 GB of ram and an its Soundblaster wireless Xtreme pci-e card but unfortunately only came with an Nvidia 9300 GE, which is more or less a rebadged Nvidia 8400. I would like to know what are my options for the upgrade. I would like to upgrade a 680 to 700 watt power supply food to accommodate the new GPU and I've had my eye on the Geforce GTX 260, but the thing is 10.5 inches long. I measured and it would be a tight fit, but the PSU cables would be in the way, unless I went the way of a modular power supply. HP came with a 350 watt PSU. Tell me a 350 Watt power supply would be sufficient to run say a Nvidia 9600 gt or say a solution simple 9800 gt slot. They all have two minimum system requirements of 400 watts... But.  And. will be a more recent judgment out of the PSU shelves fit in my case? And there at - it no real advantage to using the modular power supply she calls space-saving? Thank you for your help in advance.

This 9600 GSO is easily from 550 to 700 MHz overclock with ATI tool or equivalent, to put it in with the 9800 GTX.

  • The upgrade of power and a video card

    I have a HP Pavilion Elite HPE - 410 t

I am a dealer of stock and want to run 3 monitors with a diamond 6670.

The card is 7 in long and a double wide, although it seems that the fan is taking extra space

I need the power upgrade.  I see recommended Corsair, but I found a post that said HP was the only son of a 24 connector pins that would fail to supply 3rd party.

Will be the privateer and the card to adapt?

    Thank you.

I've not used one, but he claims he mirror, extend or rotate. I'll take 'mirror' to signify to display the same image on another monitor. I take "extend" meaning display a new picture above, below, left or right of an existing image.

  • Upgrade to power Alienware X 51

Can I supply the Alienware X from 51 to this? http://www.Amazon.com/Corsair-Builder-series-Watt-CX600/DP/B0092ML0OC/ref=cm_cd_ql_qh_dp_t

According to this message, it would be the best diet for her.

It is also an internal power source.

The largest power supply available for this computer is the AC adapter / CC 330W.

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 isn't a card for the X 51 R1. If you want to upgrade your video card, that I recommend that upgrade you to one of them:

    NVIDIA AMD
    GeForce GT 545, 1 GB Radeon R9 270, 2 GB
    GeForce GTX 555, 1 GB
    GeForce GT 640, 1 GB
    GeForce GTX 645, 1 GB
    GeForce GTX 660, 1, 5 GB
    GeForce GTX 660Ti, 1, 5 GB
