I have CS3 and the CS6 upgrade on my PC and want to load on my laptop for travel.  I can?

Yes, you are allowed to have applications installed on both machines.  The restriction being that the applications can be used at the same time on both machines.

You don't need to install CS3 if you prefer do not.  You only need the serial number of this in order to get the active CS6.

  • Lost my "Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade - 32 bit" folder and want to wipe my computer...

I wipe my Dell Inspiron (1720). It came with Vista in 2007, but I've upgraded to Windows 7 in 2009 using the "Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade - 32 bit" download that was offered to students at the time.

When I re - install the OS and drivers (using supplied with the notebook backup discs), I would like to re - move to 7. Again, I have my product key for it but cannot find the original file that I downloaded to perform the upgrade. Is there a part of the Microsoft site that I can download this file from?

If not, is there a way I can format my HDD without lose the BONE?

  • Pavilion dv6-4024tx: display random crashing after upgrade to Windows 10 (back to Windows 7)

    Hey all,.

I used to own a computer laptop dv6-4024tx Pavilion which I gave to my father to use after you have bought a new laptop for my part. It was in pretty good condition when I gave it to him, with the only problem being that she would get very hot unless a cooling pad was used (which I it comes with). At the time, it was running Windows 7 Home Premium with no problems and everything was fine. However, it might be interesting to note that while I had it I had problems with random blue screens while I was with the latest graphics drivers, so I drove back to the drivers supplied on the support page for this laptop. After I "upgraded" to Windows 10 (do not perform a clean install) for my dad, the laptop would randomly crash and display something like the photo that I have attached, before going empty and show again several times. Believing that it would be a problem with the GPU, I went and Display Driver Uninstaller to remove completely all AMD drivers and software, downloaded the latest driver on the AMD website and installed. It seemed to temporarily solve the problem, but as it's always within 30 days of installation, I offered to go back to Windows 7, but my father wanted to leave it and see how it happened. Oddly enough, for the next month, it never reported the laptop crashing again and the time period for return finally expired. The problem of course back then I tried the same solution from before but the noise continued. I tried to disable the GPU completely from the Device Manager, so that the laptop was running with Microsoft Basic display adapter. He seems to have stopped the fracas, but less than a week my father told me that he had crashed again.  I tried to restore the laptop to a system image I had done years ago, but I learned that you cannot restore an image to a different version of Windows System. Finally, as a last resort I backed everything up and made a real clean install of Windows 10, and the problem has not yet disappear.

My goal now is to return the Windows 7 laptop somehow. I can mount a virtual image of the system hard drive and access all the recovery files provided by HP, specifically the Recovery Manager. From there, I can do a recovery USB or DVD (s) we hope to restore the laptop to all conditions of factory (so theoretically return to Windows 7). I will try this, but I need a flash player more than 20 GB or several blank DVDs I don't currently. In addition, Recovery Manager says that this medium can never be created once, so it save me time and money (not to mention my last lifeline) if someone could please share their views on the question of whether this method would be successful or not. I know in case it doesn't work, there is always the question of registration of the OS by Microsoft, but I can cross that bridge when I get to it.

Sorry for the essay I just wrote, but this has been a problem for too long, and I am at a loss to know what to do now (apart from the purchase of another computer). If there are any questions I'll be happy to answer, and I hope we can get this issue is resolved. See you soon.

If you follow this step 3.

You will need to select "format and repartition disks" as windows 10 will have changed partitions.

  • I've just upgraded to Version 8 and want to know how to add a link to Google Maps om the toolbar at the top of the home page.

I just submitted a question... opened an account... received an e-mail that says there is an answer to my question, all I had to do was go to the link in the email. The window where I thought that the response closed. Where is the answer to my question?

    Hi ja171,

Not sure where is your answer, but I think I can help you with your problem. All you have to do is:

    1. Go to maps.google.com
    2. Click on bookmarks-> Bookmark this Page. You can also use CTRL + D as a keyboard shortcut. This will open a dialog box asking where you want to save your bookmark.
    3. In the drop-down file menu, choose Bookmarks Toolbar and select done.

There are lots of good information in the article How do I use bookmarks. You should check it out for some other tips.

    Hope this helps!

    Hello

my partner has a computer laptop bieng a complete spaz when buying said computer laptop did not come with a disk or a backup appeared basically does anyone know how I reboot back to when my partner bought so we can start all over again
laptop is a Toshiba satellite operating system windows vista Home premium

    Hello

With a Toshiba, if you do not have to purchase recovery disc, there will be a disk to reinstall Vista from recovery Partition.

You press 0 (zero) to the starting power / and follow the instructions of Toshiba to reinstall back to the factory settings.

There are several methods to reinstall Vista, you may be interested.

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm

"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

And if you do not score a manufacturer of recovery on your hard drive, you should be able to make your own recovery from her disks to reinstall the operating system.

Go to programs > name of the manufacturer of your computer > then their system or recovery tools software topics for them, depending on how it is formulated.

If you can't find any reference to it, contact the manufacturer for advice on how to make these recovery disks.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

"How to activate Vista normally and by Activation of the phone '

You will need to purchase a full commercial copy of Windows 7 and do a clean install. You cannot use a Windows XP hacked as an operating system that you are eligible for an upgrade. Make sure that there are Windows 7 drivers for the hardware of the laptop. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!
