  You can go to http://unityserver/exchange to access your messages through Outlook Web Access. Each mailbox will appear as an email with an attachment in .wav.

• TB stopped to retrieve new messages and try to "reconfigure" my account to correct the problem, now, I lost my old messages.

  [15/04/14 edit #3] I posted the troubleshooting information and make a backup of profiles with MozBackup, so my problem is the presence of two inboxes, both to receive messages, and my not be sure we can safely be removed nor how to remove safely.
  [14/04/14 edit #2] Help of you bird taught me where my 'profiles' are stored but I found that I had no backup of their. However, I find now that I have TWO inboxes - had not noticed this before oddity. Fortunately, one of them contains again all my old posts! The Inbox that has still all my old messages is listed as a subfolder under "Local Folders" and the Inbox I thought was that my only Inbox is listed as a subfolder under the folder albums whose name is my email address. Two inboxes are now recover my new mail. Does this mean that I have somehow created two accounts? If so, how can I get rid of the account that uses the Inbox that has all my old messages inside? I don't want to get rid of the wrong account, but I suspect that the "right" should be listed under my email address, not covered by 'Local Folders'. If anyone understands this mess I created, I'd appreciate some tips so that I don't make things worse. At least, I have now learned what it is I need to back up.

  [14/04/14 Edition #1] This is a major update of the problem I described earlier (see below). I disabled the part Mail shield of my antivirus software Avast free and discovered that TB was again able to recover my email. Then I re-enabled Avast to see if it blocked again TB. He did not. So, apparently simply light shield mail out of Avast and back again seems to have solved the problem. However, there's now the consequences of my having tried to "reset" TB which is described below, namely the loss of a very large number of emails that have been stored in my Inbox. So the problem is I would like to get help is how to recover these apparently lost emails. If they stay on my hard drive, should TB to store and what specific files I look for? I do not have a backup of some of my drive hard (but), but I need to know how to identify them, where to look and how to get back to my Inbox without deleting its current content. I would really like to also retain their original, if possible dates. I'm under 64-bit Windows 8.1. [end edit on 14-04-14]

  TB suddenly stopped downloading my mail today. When I click Get Mail, I can see the screen very fast succession of messages; first the message "connected...". «, then «check...» ", then"download 1 of 10... ". ", and finally,"No message to download"after downloading absolutely none of them. I also noticed that my list of mailboxes not the entry of first showed my e-mail address as account name. Find that something important must have been changed in the setup of my account, I went through all the settings but didn't see any problem. Finally, I decided to try to restore my account even. Who did place my email address again back at the top of the list of mailboxes mailbox as my work account name, but he also created an even more serious problem. There is now no messages in my Inbox, I guess because I have created a new account using the same name as the old, whereas before there were thousands of messages I had saved for many years (since it is a business). Then when I click Get Mail, TB downloaded 383 messages that have not yet been removed from the server, which then gives all today (another loss since their initial dates were important). But after that he finished all the download, by clicking Get Mail still retrieves all messages past the time he stopped to recover earlier today.   I managed to recreate the same question.

  It's what, in my view, has occurred.

  The account that puts e-mails in local folders is set up as a global Inbox account.

  The account which has its own mail, mailbox is a classic e-mail account.

  When you created the global account to the Inbox, you have not restarted Thunderbird before you download, so the same e-mail is downloaded in the two accounts.

  E-mails currently in the global Inbox - Local folders Inbox is not deleted if you delete the account. but do not immediately.

  Please look under "Tools" > "account settings".
  You see two accounts with the same name using the same email address? I noticed you have account 2 and account 5 using different servers, but maybe the same e-mail address?

  Select the 'server' settings account 2 and click the button "Advanced".
  A small window opens, which is selected?

  • "Inbox for this account of servers.

  or

  • "Inbox for the account of different" and "records the.

  Please also check account 5.

  One of these accounts will say "Inbox for the account of different" and "records the. This is the account that has emails in the Inbox folders and is configured as a Global account.

  Tell me which account is configured as global Inbox.

  In addition, I note that account 2 has more than one identity. You have two different email addresses that go to the same account?

  • In 'Tools' > 'Account settings' for account 2

• Unknown caller, leaving voice messages

  Does anyone know how to prevent a caller to leave voice messages? Initially it was a normal number that I blocked. Now, it appears as Unknown caller and leaves voice messages all the time. I think it's one of these robo-dialers as voice messages, it leaves is just constant beep like a fax machine. I get about 5-7 calls from this number every day and it leaves a virtual machine all the time. Quite boring. I think that this beyond the normal settings on the iPhone so maybe there is an application that can do?

  You can block someone from calling or texting you in two ways:

  To block someone who has been added to the Contacts on your phone, go to settings > phone > blocked > add new. All Contacts window appears where you can scroll through the names and type the name of the contact you want to block. You will be taken back to the window blocked with the name added to the list of blocked contacts.

  Parameters, contacts can be also blocked selection of Messages or Facetime and then following the instructions above.

  In the case where you want to block a number that is not stored as a contact in your phone, go to the phone application > Recents. Watch the number (or name) you want to block and tap the blue 'i' with a circle around it to the right of the number. Scroll to the bottom of the plug contact that appears and select "Block this caller." The message "You will not receive FaceTime, messages or phone calls from people on the red list" appears with two options: block contact or cancel. Hit the block Contact to add the number to the blocked list, bad.

  Block Messages by selecting the message with the contact and typing Contact thread in the upper right. Select the information icon and move forward with the same instructions as in the most recent in the phone tab.

• Play a voice message before receiving faxes

  I have a HP 6500 has connected to my desktop computer that is connected to a telephone VoIP (MagicJack) system.  Through the MJ I can receive faxes, that part works fine.  My question is:

  Is it possible to have the HP (or my computer) answer the call, then play a voice message before receiving faxes so that callers 'voice' can be a warning that they called a fax line until they get a blaireing beep sound in their ear?

  I know what you're trying to do, but have never heard of this fact.  Here is a guide that can help you solve your problem.  It will allow you to use your answering machine with the FAX.

We are up now, but I have a user who gets the same e-mail duplicated each minute. I had to create an Outlook rule to make it automatically deletes, but have you seen this? Any suggestions what I should do?

  Hi Stu-

  I could check in the UMR server folder for the file Failed unit and see if the file is still there. The default location is c:, commserver, UnityMTA, Failed. When the unit is in mode UMR voice messages are stored here and automatically transferred to Exchange when the Exchange Server becomes operational. Although rare, messages can get abandoned here if the alias of account/is deleted in the meantime, or maybe in your case, you're stuck there. Usually a start/stop of the service AvUMRSychSvr the round is played.

  As to listen to voice messages via the carrier's own analog servers, it cannot be marked as not read times read.

  The only way to recover data from your phone is if you have backup icloud or iTunes.

  If you have not made a backup, then sorry that data has disappeared.

  It is a POP email account? Have you set up things so that the device stores messages on the server for a certain period or until you remove them? If this isn't the case, message may have been deleted once delivered, so cannot be delivered again.   Hi all.  Would appreciate any help.  Have traveled to Mongolia for two weeks without no cell reception or get SMS or voice messages.  A few days before I let my phone iPhone 6s got soaked in water and dies (taking pictures.)  I'm home now and got a new phone but when I activated, I don't see not all messages for 2 weeks I was out of cell phone/wifi reception.  (For obvious reasons, I have not all iCloud since backups.)  It was my birthday while I was away, so I'm especially sad to have lost all messages (I hope and I guess) people sent me.  Sprint said they can't help, they say the messages would have disclosed to the top when I activated my new phone.  Any ideas or work around how I could find these messages?  They must be SOMEWHERE they were sent but never delivered because my phone has never been online.  Thanks a lot for all ideas.

  If you have a backup of the 4 from iTunes or iCloud, messages can be in there.

  For some reason your synchronization with the data in the cell is declining. As a first step, I would get a replacement from your cell provider nanoSIM.
