Upgrade Windows 7 to 8.1 - no Internet connection

I bought 8.1 via the Microsoft Store window, my computer is a Dell Latitude 630 with OS - Windows 7.  When I try to upgrade to 8.1 Windows, I get an error message of not having an internet connection, even though I am connected to the internet.  Any help is appreciated.

You have a laptop Dell Latitude 630 or it seems you have a Dell latitude D630 (there is no model number 630 latitude). I tried the compatibility of this laptop with Windows 8.1.     Install a violin 4 Beta
    (1) there is a new feature toolbar point 'Win 8 Config"called"loopback Exemptions Utility AppContainer. "
    2) click on "All exempt", then click "Save Changes".
    Voila! Problem disappeared!

    Hello is a network installed by Apple, iTunes more often software Protocol.  If you do not use iTunes * (or other Apple related programs streaming) you don't need.  If you do not use iTunes check if there are any available software updates.

    It certainly isn't the router (or the Internet itself) as my laptop, using the wireless connection (and running Vista Home Premium) continue to be able to access the internet (and the pages of the router web admin) very well.

    The installation is successful, in my case; However, when I try to use the function search I get an error message 'No internet connection' and close the search window.

    As this solution is supposed to be a local, I am at a loss as to what is happening. Streaming movies works btw, so I don't have an Internet connection available and functional.

    I don't know what you use to assign addresses, so I guess it's a router of some sort. You will need to go to the website of manufacturers, look at the manual and know how to limit the DHCP address field. I changed mine to limit the address 192.168.1.200 thanks 192.168.1.250 DHCP assignment. Your router can use the 10. subnet, so your address may be different, depends on the manufacturer of the router, or if you use a DHCP, the scope with the DHCP server. Gives me 50 IP addresses for all the guests who may want to use wired or wireless connections and should be more than enough.     The only suggestion I can offer would be to install the latest driver ethernet directly from BCM and see if it works.

    I think you need the first driver on the list for 32 bit.
