Upstream port of VAN is not available

I am trying to deploy a new chassis 5108 and cluster 6120.  But I get and error for the blades "Is not available port upstream from the VAN"

I got the storage team ensure NPIV is avialable on the switch, but they are unable to see the WWN and PN on the b-side for these servers.  side one is on and available.  I just changed the core switch ports and still get the same error.  did someone came across this?

could be a mismatach to vsan between the CF 6120 switch and upstream. Is the switch upstream a SDM? Make sure that the FC ports on the 6120 are mapped to the proper VSAN.

    Hey Rey, hope everything is going well.

    As far as I know, you would need to look in for the 2 gbic slots gigabit models. Both SR2024T and SR2024CT have 2 GBIC.  If you can't get your hands on a SF102-24, to the best of my knowledge, that would be the alternatives that are not of the EOS/EOL.

  • COM 3 is is not available

    I'm at my wits end! I have an E2 which was beautifully HotSync over bluetooth with my HP Vista SP1 desktop running. The HP locked up for printing, which is never done and I had to reboot. Now, my Hotsync does not work.

    The E2 appears "unable to launch Polish HotSync because port is used by another application.

    HotSync on the HP settings it tell me ' the selected com port, com 3 is not available... ". ».

    Bluetooth settings show my camera and when I click on the Services tab in the properties 'Object PUsh (Obex)' is the only thing listed and it is checked. What is c? Also by clicking Services establishes a connection with my E2. ("current connection"). I have not changed the bluetooth settings (all the options are checked).     I had trouble not getting no connection with WiFi, after weeks of allsorts following advice on forums etc, I found that the Wireless Pan DHCP Server does not start with error: Static Interfaces/Listening Ports is not available. my understanding is that the ports UDP 67/68, but when I run a Netstat I don't see them in the list. I checked windows firewall and they seem to be set to DHCP.

    Any ideas would be useful.

    First of all, you can't 'upgrade' your internal USB port to a Highspeed USB port. This is NOT possible, but your machine must have at least 2! ports USB 2.0 capable.

    I suggest you do the following: download the latest drivers for your machine on Toshiba Driver download site, install and check if the error message appears, anywhere you´re attaching your USB 2.0 device.

    Usually one or 2 of these ports should be able to USB 2.0.

    If still, you get the same error message then come back and give some comments, then we can discuss more about.

    This problem has been resolved.

    The book of Z 17 HP installed their software: HP Client Security.

    This software prevents the use of external hard drives and flash drives in its default settings.

    Each customer is on their own in discoverinv and the resolution of this problem.

    On the first book of HP Z 17 thin client HP security biometric authertication failed with a black screen.  The computer is about 15 days old.    All the dirvers for the HP notebook have been uploaded and then the software for biometric devices have been downloaded.  HP determined that it was a hardware failure of the biometric device, when drivers and software downloads together has not fixed the problem.  This computer had / has the same problem with not allowing communication with any external hard drive or flash drive.

    HP did wrong by not providing any information on the inside of this product the HP support assistant.

    Here's a consumer might encounter problems:

    The HP support assistant on Z book provides updates of drivers for windows, but the support phone number book mobile z is not listed.  There is a phone number, but it is a regular support, not z book mobile support or elite support.  Mobile Z book users are supposed to call the number fo elite press and the number is for a regular support on the wizard of book z mobile support.  Support assistant has cat support method and the HP chat support is not trained to book support z mobile.  There is a feature to contact the technical support and the transfer of data to the technician, and again, it goes to regular support who is not trained to support the mobile z book.  If you call the phone number provided some of the choices on the automated line includes desktop, laptop and office work.  If you choose Notepad you won't get z mobile workstation support.  If you choose work center you will get no support of z book mobile workstation.  Instead, you must have someone answer and then ask to be redirect to support elite.  On the first call, you never know that the support you are looking for is elite support until they give you this information on the next contact.

    After many hours spent barely pull on the problems of not being able to view files on an external hard drive or external dirve flash, I was able to change this HP software.  It now unfortunately produces a humming noise when parts of it are displayed.  This has not yet been set.

    The thin client HP security prevents click right change of ownership and prevent changes, right-click in the security, etc..  Change of Director fails also as the client security administrator HP overides too.

    So end users must change the HP Thin Client Security so that it does not block access to files on external hard drives or flash drives.

  • 2311 x color balance settings not available

    I just added this monitor as a 2nd monitor (primary is a HP LP2475w-wide gammut monitor I have the monthly profile).  My video card has a DVI-out (main monitor) and a VGA out (for the 2311 x).  When I try to implement controls on screen color of RGB or color temp, to try to match as much as possible to my main monitor for photo and video, they're all grayed out and inaccessible, except for the basic settings (video, text, photo, etc.).  I'm nowhere near a match color with one of those (major cyan cast is the best I can come).  No idea why the advanced color control are not available?  These work only with a DVI connection?  My previous Dell monitor has been connected to the system via the VGA port, and I could control all its color settings.  Running WIn7 64 bit.

    in case anyone else has this problem, I was able to fix the problem by doing a "reset" on the color management, and then all color control options were more is locked.

  • iCloud library is not available if the system library is located on a network file server

    I moved my library on an external hard drive, that drive is directly connected to my router via the USB port.

    I can make pictures to my library of photos and pictures of charge very well. I've set the library to serve the library system:

    I have the ability to connect this external hard drive to an iMac which is used as a server, I just prefer not, but if it's the only option I want.

    So in short, can I use this configuration? If so, why the error message and how to cope.

    That's right - the library needs (for iCLoud, use of the library and for the safe operation) to be on a local wired connection - may not be on a network connection

  • Using SMU 6612 to measure PXI-6528 pulsewidth channel - channel is not available.

    Hi all

    I use SMU 6612 card counter to measure the pulse width of the signals to PXI 6528 DIO card. These two cards are in the same chassis PXI (NI-SMU-1065). I could measure the pulse widths using the example LabVIEW 2013 Counter - pulse width of reading and (over) frequency example of .vi. However not all channels of the PXI-6528 map appear in the drop-down list of channels on the pulse width can be measured. Try to connect any other channel that those which are available in the drop-down list returns the error. On the PXI card port 6528 0,1 and 2 are entered ports and port 3-5 are output ports. I can measure the pulse on port 0, 3 width and line 0 port 1 and 4.

    Can someone explain to me why don't see port 1 or port 2 channels in the drop-down list or force the VI to measure the width of pulse on these channels?

    Probably not.  Unless the routing plan is in fact reversed as it seems a bit sorta that.  As stated on my system, you can route * of * a port of entry * to * RTSI, or you can route * of * RTSI * to * one output port.  This does not make much sense to me, but that's what I see:

    If the routing card * is * reversed, your only likely workaround without physical wire would be to generate impulses in question of port 3.  It's pretty clear that 1,2,4,5-tetrachlorobenzene ports have no ability to interact with the bus timing, physical wiring would be the only option.
