I told them no, I didn't spend $200.00 for them to fix and remove the problem that was to have my old pc of 3 months. I went back picked it up and they said well we have windows to start up, but does not remove the virus, well after returning home and running analysis trend micro system with microsoft security essentials and CC Cleaner full nothing was found on my system. I only got lock up once on me over the last 4 weeks Ive got back, but when I went on the best shopping site I noticed that most of the people who gave user reviews and booought this portable paticular all have something in common pc freezes when windows start right at the point where the screen is about to go to windows and he said wait a moment before it switches on your office. Please if anyone knows why or what's going on with this portable paticular or can give some help or suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated. The volume control works on screen, volume limit is not, I bought several songs today, others were purchased when I arrived at the unit. The last time that I used it, its worked. Tried 3 different ear pods, no sound of Nano, but the sound of the iPhone.

  I followed all the troubleshooting topics in the User Guide. I hope that someone here is smarter that the guide or knows a trick.

• No sound in Windows 7 with Boot Camp 4

  On a Mac Mini 32-bit running Windows 7 with Boot Camp 4. I use this set to the top due to other software, I need that requires 32 bits.  There is no noise from the CPU itself, no making helmet. I get the Mac sound at the start of the central unit, then Windows starts normally.  On the Device Manager in Windows two audio devices are: high definition Audio Device and display Intel. The State of the device on these two said they operate both correctly. I have an another Mac Mini that the sound is not working properly, and there a Cirrus S4206B. I tried to find how to add this device and driver for the CPU problem, but in vain.

According to the program dmidecode (Linux utility), my computer supports up to 192 GB, but max memory also depends on the motherboard, BIOS, etc. The official max memory may still be 48 GB, but in terms of architecture, he would support 96 GB or more?

  Looking at the number of IBM FRU in this list, the memory that you have accessed is a RDIMMS, not an ECC UDIMM. RDIMMs do not work in the S20. Unfortunately, you are limited to 6 x 8 GB UDIMM depending on availability of the size. Even if the series E5-1600 processors support more than 300 GB, I'm not aware of a real 16 GB DDR3 ECC UDIMM in the wild.

  Given the cost, I recommend personally put that money toward a new system or even a refurb of the Lenovo decision-making. http://outlet.lenovo.com/outlet_us/workstations/#facet-1=1, 2,3,4. Major drawbacks only in a system is that you are limited to what is available and they come with a 1 year warranty. Retail systems have a term of 3 years and can be extended to 4 or 5.

• How to get 5.1 sound on Satellite P100-286

  I had to replace my old P100-347 of 2 months, because of cracks on the hinge. The only model they had available was the P100-286. It is almost identical, except one thing, that I was not informed until I got it home and so too late to resume.

  Basically, the P100-347 had a SPDIF port and the 286 (as far as I can see), does not work. So, what I want to know is, what kind of sound that I am able to get the decision-making helmet.

  I plugged my Dolby Digital amp, and everything seems to be able to get is 2 audio channels, when I would be able to get 5.1 channels... In fact, I would like to have SPDIF, but don't think it will happen.

  Can someone advise and give me some advice on solving this.

  On the Satellite P100-286 S/PDIF port is not available and if you want to have 5.1 surround sound you need to use an external solution connected to the USB port. Google around. You will find quite different products, that you can use with your laptop.

This seemed to fix that I had the sound and the microphone back, but when I started this morning I had the same problem and since I don't re - not allow 'google ok' and it does not automatically start (I checked), which doesn't seem to have actually done something after all, or there are other problems that are still not resolved.

  I do not work for HP, but I see a definite advantage on the subject of what you are suggesting.

  Try to perform the following procedure.

  Download Realtek HD Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  Realtek HD Audio Driver - Windows 8

  One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the Realtek device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

  Then, download and reinstall the Chipset driver on the following link.

  Chipset Driver - Windows 8

  When done, shut down the laptop by holding down the key SHIFT left click Shutdown to temporarily prevent a hybrid boot.

  Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery.  Press and hold the power button for 20 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

  Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

  Allow Windows to fully - charge it will automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete.  Then open your download folder, right click on the installer of Realtek and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices.  Left click "Speakers/HP" (speakers or headphones) once to highlight, and then click the Set Default button - check if you now audio.
