• OID provisioning with IOM and the addition of a custom multivalue attribute

  Hello - I have a class of the custom object that contains an attribute with multiple values (e.g. mymultiattribute1). I wish that this attribute was available on the form of OID process on the UD_OID_USR main form or child form UD_OID_RL. The idea is to have IOM admin add values or update the value of this attribute for example during the OID commissioning of the admin user account IOM should be able to add value1 and the value 2 to this attribute (similar to the role of the OID connector assignment feature). Since this is a multivalued attribute, so I think it must be a form of child? Correct me if I'm wrong.
  
  Guys please can you me how to configure IOM to achieve? Now that we do not have the cycles to customize the connector (i.e. coding), so we are looking to set up the system of the IOM or use existing functionality of OOTB, maybe configure feature role assignment for our objectclass and attribute in the IOM is the option?

  The table Lookup.OID.Configuration contains the following three parameters which I believe are associated with roles.

  I need an AppleScript script to copy to the Clipboard a thumbnail of a selected file (s. picture 1 below) with a hyperlink to the URL of the selected file.

  I have a script that allows me to get the URL of the file and copy it to the Clipboard. But then I have to paste the URL into my Document, back to the finder, make a screenshot of the thumbnail of the file, paste this screenshot and enter the URL (manually copy) of the file (choose the context menu of the image) (s. image 2 below):

  

  Is there a way to automate this?

  I could do the screenshot manually, this is actually no problem, but then I would need to attribute this screenshot on a Clipboard 1, go back and get the URL of the file and attribute it to Clipboard 2 and then go to my document and paste Clipboard 1 first, chose the menu popup "hyperlink" and the Clipboard paste 2.

  I would be grateful for the help!

  OpenOffice or LibreOffice aren't outwardly scriptable with AppleScript or Automator, as to exclude these two applications that support. They are inwardly Python scriptable via their respective SDK.

  I became aware of a solution of AppleScript that invites for the input file, then uses a custom (port) application that uses QuickLook to generate an image thumbnail jpg to your specified output destination. I added a line of AppleScript that sends the URL of the file to the Clipboard.

  After running the script, I can paste the URL of the document in LibreOffice and follow by drag and drop the jpg thumbnail afterwards.

  

  Do you want me to post the directions for this solution. In its current form, it is not written for processing batch.

  We currently use vanity URL where we have all of the URLS generated by vanity URL and everything works fine but I want to know that how we can manage URLS not valid.

  For example my work URL is http://domain/home and it works well, but if someone put URL as http://domian/home1 , her gives me 404. So, how can I manage these scenarios URL.

  You must set the requestType ('POST') and the contentType (' application/json') properties of your URL object before calling the postContent() method.

  While I am able to update my document by running insert or remove instructions independently, they fail:

  The problem is that even if your environment is configured to use transactions, your container is not. Set up for using transactions is a process in two steps, first of all, you must set up the environment that you did, then you must configure each container in the environment, what you can do as follows:

• I need the URL for the default home page so I can put it in my homepage protection, because all I get when I open the browser's "about"white."

  I'm going to hell to get just the URL for the browser/Firefox start page. I just did a recovery image factory and all I get after downloading and installing the Firefox browser a tab that says 'about white." I don't get the URL in the address bar so that I can put this URL in my homepage of protection (I use Advanced System Care ultimate). Once I get this URL and place it in the area of protection of homepage of my security software, I'll be ready to go, because I want to use Firefox as my default browser.   It is actually called Subject: Home , but the only way to know would be if you were viewing the page and called to the top of the Page Info dialog... who, for future reference you can get using one of these methods:

  • Right click on a box empty page and select View Page Info
  • (menu bar) Tools > Page Info

  When I open a new tab in Firefox, usually the first thing I do is start typing a URL in the address bar to the new tab (normally that uses AutoComplete to sites that I visit a lot). The new tab usually displays a google search page which is fine. It's there if I need it.

  Lately, however, has changed the behavior of firefox when I open a new tab. After that I opened a new tab, my goal is taken from the address bar in the google search box. I mean not the Firefox search box either. I mean the search box on the google page. This occurs after I already started typing if I get the first letter or 2 of what I type in the search box, while the rest began to appear in the google search box. When I type a URL I want in the address bar. Not in the search box.

  On reflection, I think that there are a few extensions that try to block or reverse this behavior of the Google search page. If you check your extensions, are one of them suddenly disabled or missing?
