  Here's what I did... I have zipped and attached below in attachments, the raw smbus controller driver files to decompress and install manually.

  Download and unzip the file.

  Go to Device Manager and click the controller smbus needing drivers.  Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

  Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the driver folder that you unzipped.

  Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and the driver should install.  Then restart.

  USB3: Install these two and restart.

  I just installed windows 7 on my laptop Pavilion 15-ab066n, it came with windows 8. I have difficulties to find universal serial (USB) bus driver and there are also two unknown devices, I was on the site of HP driver and there is not a link for the driver for the chipset. Please someone know where I can find this driver or what the chipset is if I can get it directly from intel? or what are the two unknown devices, they are not player card or bluetooth as I installed the drivers for the HP site.

  The second driver is directly from the assistance of your notebook page and this is certainly one you need for the device 6007.

  Try to install manually as follows...

  Go to Device Manager and click on the unknown device of 6007 requiring the driver.

  Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.  Select her browse my computer for driver software option and find the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file.

  This file will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp71811.

  Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and see if the pilot goes like this.

  If this does not work, you have to do a search on google by inserting the PCI\VEN_1022 & DEV_780B in the search window.

  AMD products give me fits trying to find their drivers.  The device is a controller Bus SM AMD. That's about all I can find these details.

  I have a HP Pavilion dv6-6b26sa.

  I love the laptop.  I did a clean reinstall of Windows 7 64-bit.

  Everything installed perfectly, except the SM Bus controller - I have a yellow! next to him - no drivers...

  I did the update of the autopilot in the Device Manager, found nothing.  I read that some people have tried to install the latest AMD / ATI graphics and chipset drivers.  So I made this using automatic detection and install the AMD software - he advised that I have installed the drivers of mobility.  Yet the SM Bus controller has no driver.

• SM Bus controller driver missing

  IM missing a driver for SM Bus controller.  My motherboard is a Chaintech 7NJL6.  Im running a Sempron 3000 + with 1 GB of RAM.  I'm not sure if it's related to the missing pilot, but I can not install also 2 GB of RAM.  Where can I find the correct driver and that would solve the problem of installation of RAM or a rider can which I can't find on the internet.  Any help would be appreciated.

  There is no information online on what model of card wireless (network controller) of your laptop is.

  Thank you for posting material ID for the network controller, so I know what model wireless card it is and then I'll post the link for the driver, you need to.

  To find the hardware ID, go to the Device Manager and click on the network controller who need the driver.

  Then click on the Details tab in the upper part of the window network controller.

  Now you will see a drop-down list of property and it will be set to the Description of the unit.

  On this list and select the 2nd (Hardware ID).

  Device Manager displays the error icon yellow for Ethernet, USB, and SM Bus controllers.  'Properties' - 'pilot' show-"no driver not loaded"...  At ran Windows Update & Vaio Update... with no success.  Did a google search, search for Sony... can not find the drivers to download...  Uninstalled all three - and ran "Check in the changes of material" - still no luck...
