  Hello... NB100 Newbie here...

  I had a lot of success so far with my new NB100, and I see that I will be happy with it long term. However, there are a few things that I still need to sort out, and one of them is standard DVD-video playback. So, can someone please give a summary of what needs to be done to achieve normal commercial DVD movies playback on the NB100? I'm guessing it may have need of codecs and other repositories, but here's where I lose myself... I don't know what to choose or how to install some of the things I see out there. Also, I would like to know the opinion of the people in Totem as the playback application? I downloaded and tried mplayer, but it crashes when I try to run it. In terms of hardware, I use an external DVD via USB.

• Recording to a USB movie file?

  Hello everyone, sorry to be a safer Im my question again in this has been asked before. Ive done a search without success. My problem is I'm trying to save a file (avi) movie on the hard drive of my girls thinkpad tablet. Is there a special way to do this? Ive been through the file copy utility, but do not see the USB. Well, any help would be apprieciated.

  I assume from your description that:
  -the movie file is on a USB / flash drive
  -the USB / Flash DRIVE is plugged into the USB port of the Tablet

  In this case, my first suggestion is to try another USB key and use the Android app built in USB file copying. The USB key should appear as a drive.

  Second, if it does not, try formatting the USB key with a computer. Files on the USB key must be saved prior to this, as formatting will erase all the content. Make sure that it is FAT32 file system when formatting. Then try it on the shelf again after the copy of the file video back.

  Those who are only suggestions from USB stick. If you connect the tablet to a computer via a USB cable, and then there are different suggestions to move files.

  welll I got another but a very weird problem with my laptop speakers... its starts when I saw my last movie HD maded... its just 720 p but... when I plugged in the headphones to the laptop everythink is fine.

  BUT when I disconnect head portable phones and I use laptop speakers, as in CLOCK with perfection synhroniation, my movie beginning to have problems with mininova on WinMediaPlayer.

  All felling in the same places executives jump and the whole system is overloaded... From the CPU to 100% USAGE is even one vid HD 720 p. What is weird movie still jump and make stops in same place ALWYAS BUT WHEN I DISCONNECT HEADPHONES! weird... cuz film is perectly smooth and error-free or jump or framing problems when I watch the same movie using connected headset for laptop.

  I think your problem has nothing to do with the speakers
  You said that the CPU usage increases and that the system is overloaded
  This is the reason why the movie does not run smoothly

  Now, you should check what system process the cause
  If this problem would appear, start the Task Manager and check under the processes tab.
  You can see the process that stresses the CPU and verrouillerait material resources close this process would be useful

  In your case I would google for more details on the background process and possibly one of the installed 3rd party software and tools cause it

  I have trouble getting the event MMRENDERER_STATE_CHANGE code when my video ends in the VideoWindow sample.

  I ask the events with: mmrenderer_request_events (video_context_name, 0, 0);

  I just tried to run a sample on the OS version you have and it works for me. The code I pasted above was mainly to cover all use cases required; My apologies for any confusion caused.

  To determine the status, you need not to do the * switch * deal on the event '-> type' for the * State *. Each mmr_event_t * has a * State * related attribute. If you can make a switch box the * State * for each event.

  I am satisfied with the quality, but can not get a correct picture in USB drive mode.

  The "Movie" mode looks great, but it's much too dark!
  I would use my "User" custom mode to render similar but brighter, but I can't select it in USB mode...

  Press MENU and by selecting the picture mode will provide options to improve the quality of the image.
  I guess that other parameters are not available while watching films of USB support.

• Firmware of switching of NOR-DAQmx Base on Linux to the USB-6221

  Our Windows machines are locked - even as developers, we without administrator privileges.  Which is updated from the impossible firmware via the Windows Device Manager.  On the other hand, we have total control on our Linux machines.

  Is it possible to download and check out the images of the firmware on Linux?  In particular, I need to move a USB-6221 to NOR-DAQmx Base.  I couldn't find all the instructions to do this on Linux.

  I had a moment of complete Dyslexics your first post - powered external USB DAQ playback devices (USB-622 x, USB-625 x USB-628 x) are not supported under Linux (by DAQmx 8.0.1 or DAQmx Base 3.3), while DAQ USB (USB-621 x) bus-powered devices are supported by only DAQmx Base. The Readme files for the two drivers list the devices on which they based [1] [2].

  The USB-6212 case is the closest to the USB-6221 match, although if you don't have extenstive digital i/o in your application, the USB-6211 housing would also be a good fit.

But the videos do not play.  I tried to publish several times and it stops playing at the same place every time.

  Assuming that you are talking about Windows Movie Maker, not a 3rd party Director.

  Take a look at your video file of 5 min.
  What is the file format? The last 3 letters represent the file format.

  Windows Movie maker will support only a small handful of video file formats:
  Video files: .asf, .avi, .dvr-ms, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv

  If you movie file format is not on the list above, you will need to google for a free video converter. No need to buy a. Free will do the job.
  Use the converter and change the format of your movie file.
  The best and most reliable way to convert is WMV format.
