  It's been days trying to get my computer, a Dell Inspiron 1721 on Vista, working with the Logitech Wireless Speaker Adapter. There are no instructions to come with the adapter because it was said to be very easy to use, that well is not for me...

  There is no instructions to come with the adapter

  The flashing green light means it tries to connect and pair, so it can not connect, or it can be connected, but not being able to pair.

  First of all, make sure your laptop is equipped with a bluetooth adapter.

  Then, make sure you have the latest bluetooth driver. Go to the Inspiron 1721 downloads page. In the drop-down list, select Vista. Expand the network category. Find your bluetooth adapter driver and install it if it is newer than your current driver. (These drivers are from 2007, then you probably already have the most recent).

  As the Getting Started Guide Logitech says "refer to the documentation that came with your device for pairing instructions. Dell does not provide these instructions, but they are available on the Microsoft website. However, page this guy has the instructions and screenshots and it is easier to follow than Microsoft. It also explains how to determine whether or not you have a bluetooth adapter and how to configure it to connect to a bluetooth device, then explains how pair or sync in Vista.

  Note that if you enter an access code in the Bluetooth Setup Wizard, the Getting Started Guide says to enter 0000.

  I have a HP Pavilion dv4 laptop running Windows 7 Home Edition Premium and the USB ports worked well for a HP deskjet printer and an older Casio digital camera. Then one day, the laptop decided not to recognize the Casio digital camera and gave the error message "USB device not recognized" and also indicated that the device connected to the computer has malfunctioned. This prompted me to buy a new digital camera Canon. Well, a new camera has not fixed the problem. Now, anything that is connected to one of the 2 ports USB will not be recognized by my laptop. Help!  I am at a loss to understand this.  I tried using Microsoft suggested below:

  Read previous messages revealed the solution for USB devices not recognized on my HP Pavilion as well as several other laptop models.  Shut down the computer and remove the battery and wait for about 15 minutes. Reinstall the battery and restart the computer.  USB ports are working to download pictures from my digital camera from Canon and charging a cell phone, etc...   I hope it helps others with this problem!

  Right my PC running Windows XP. I also have itunes installed on my PC (I have an iphone 4). Upward until yesterday my iphone and itunes were working well, (once I plugged my iphone in the itunes USB port recognised that my iphone was plugged and synchronization was fine etc.).

  But now when I plug my iphone to PC to sync with itunes, I get a pop up box on the lower right part of the screen that reads... "USB not recognized one of the USB devices has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize."

  After visiting about 5 different sites now "Ways to solve this problem", believe it or not, I still have the problem bloody! :(

  A site proposed shutdown PC and unplug it from the power supply, then plug it back start-up and back... this as did not work!
  The other they say that I should go to Device Manager, uninstall all the USBs then restart... it did not work either.

  You recently reinstall the operating system? If so, have you installed the drivers in the order?
  How to download and install drivers in the correct order

  First run delete print jobs to remove all print jobs stuck in the queue.

  Unplug the printer.

  Download and run the patch (cleaning printer utility) until it prompts you to restart your computer.

  Restart your computer.

  Now you can install the printer using the Dell Printer 924 disc.

  Don't forget the programs anti-virus and firewall will block communications.

  Also try this tweak...

  Go into Device Manager (right click on my computer, left click Properties, material of the left click, left click Device Manager)

  You need Adobe raw camera 8.7 version. Unfortunately your software is earlier than the camera. ACR 8.7 is only compatible with PSE13.   I have a Sony Vaio VPCEH computer laptop with Windows 7 and when I run the disk I got with the printer on my laptop, that the installation procedure works in what concerns the section "Install printer Software". When you are prompted to turn on the printer and connect the cable USB to the laptop it says 'USB not recognized '.  I tried all 4 slots USB into my laptop but the USB still appears as an unknown device with an exclamation point in a yellow triangle. I searched internet solutions and tried to uninstall the unknown device in Device Manager and restart the installation with the disc, I also tried clicking on the unknown device driver software update but it says the software driver is up to date and still, it shows as an unknown device and is not recognized. I also tried to uninstall the HP software from the disc on my laptop and that reinstall but nothing has worked. I felt for over 2 weeks now and have not been able to use it because of this problem and I really need for University, so I would be very happy if someone could please give me a solution to this problem

  Have you tried another USB cable?

  Because the printer is not detected on the Mac, it may be the USB port of the printer.

  What happened when you tried to install the printer on Mac?

  Error messages?

  What is the model Laserjet P1102w?
