Use/space problem of hard disk with Premiere Pro CS6 trial

Hello

A few days ago, I installed Premiere Pro CS6 test on my C:\ drive (about 9 GB of free space 2 or 3 GB is required for installation). After the launch of first, I changed all the preferences for "scratch disks" etc. for my drive D:\. I've been editing yesterday and I saw that my C:\ drive was completely full, only 1 MB left. Do not install / changed anything to my PC, just have been editing.

So finally, I decided to uninstall the first completely and reinstall to D:\. It turns out that after the uninstall, I suddenly only 2, 2 GB of left of the original 9 GB before installation! So it seems that some temporary files are still somewhere (even if all my other temporary settings as of Windows Temp folder are also located at D :).

I'm getting a bit tired now, because there is no transparacy in that first made during installation, and why, after uninstall, there are still about 5 GB on my precious space SSD

Any help is greatly appreciated!

EDIT: after you install on D:\ again once my available disk space increased from 2, 2 GB to 1, 3 GB on C:\. So first takes about 8 GB on a disc, I have not installed on and is not used to "scratch disks".

Check yourC:\Users\ \AppData\Roaming\Adobe directory for unnecessary data.

  • Why not the AMD graphics cards on the list work supported with Premiere Pro CS6 or CC?

I try to get my Radeon HD 7970 to work with Premiere Pro CS6.  The official compatibility list shows that I can use this card to accelerate the Mercury playback engine.  After Effects and Photoshop CS6, both recognize the card, but Premiere Pro won't.  I tried every fix there, I contacted support and they assured me that it should work with CS6 and CC.

I tried a fresh install of my OS and a new installation cs6, and then fully implemented to update the software.  I also tried the same thing with the trial of CC, which tells me that CC is actually just CS6 who was apparently a waste of time.

What should I do to get a support card to actually work with Premiere Pro?

My OS is updated, I installed the latest drivers for my GPU and also tried a fresh install of the CS6 and CC... no chance whatsoever.

The GPP setting remains greyed out, regardless of what I do.

It seems that AMD fixed their drivers and they now work correctly with Windows 8 Pro x 64. I'm guessing that TeamViewer put pressure on those who is too generic to actually work with Premiere Pro CC.

They work for something else, but not here...

  • configuration of hard disk for Premiere pro

I have ssd and 2 hard drives, what is the best configuration for encoding with Premiere pro cs5

My suggestion is to get a good another SSD and use your current (if it's a decent) for operating system/Application files more Adobe left put the media Cache database Cache files in the default location of the C: drive.  Put your project, the media and the rest of the project on the second SSD files.  When you have finished a project essentially, move the files on the second SSD for the drives for archiving and backup.  To keep your C: drive clean then you can delete the media Cache/media Cache database and if you have any project to reopen quickly they will regenerate.

I take this to the extreme, I use one of my Samsung Q1 (now a new T3 model is available) USB 3.0 SSD is like my second SSD and this way I can walk from my laptop on my desk with the current project or taken different second USB 3.0 SSD and instantly change projects.

  • Problems with Premiere Pro CS6 and Media Encoder

I have been using Media Encoder for months with Premiere Pro, but he has recently stopped working. It gets stuck trying to connect to the dynamic link and then fails.

I tried to solve this problem for a while following the instructions online and I could have screwed up things. Is there a way to uninstall Premiere Pro and Media Encoder completely so I can reinstall them?

I have a creative cloud subscription.

    First, select help > deactivate...

Then just uninstall as usual.  After that, run the Script of cleaning of Adobe.  Restart and reinstall.

  • Strange audio problem in Premiere Pro CS6

    Hello

I encountered a very strange problem. I am changing a documentary film in Premiere Pro. All the material was shot on the Sony FS 100 camera - imported in PP with the media browser. In an interview, the last part of a clamp has corrupted audio. At some point on the timeline audio stops playing, and it looks like a scratch on a disc vinyl - two words that are repeated at the end of the clip (see screenshot of chronology). The images are as it should. When I open the clip of Avchd source in VLC the audio works. When I import the clip in Final Cut 7 using the Log and transfer the audio works. My only other option would be that there is a problem of software with Premiere Pro CS6. Any ideas how to solve this problem?

    Screen Shot 2012-08-10 at 4.52.44 PM.png

    PP version: 6.0.1

    Source of images: AVCHD, MPEG-4 (1080/25 p - Sony FS100)

    Mac version: OS x 10.8

    Model name: Mac Pro mid-2010

Processor name: Intel Quad - Core Xeon

    Processor speed: 2.4 GHz

    Number of processors: 2

    Total number of cores: 8

    Memory: 20 GB

Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570

Third IO: Matrox MXO2 with Max

Mercury playback engine: Mode of software

A similar problem, potential, which can develop, is when the standard compliant process is interrupted before completing 100%.

A quick way to exclude this possibility, would be to browse media Cache files and delete the CFA and the PEK (waveform display) for this Clip, outside of Premiere Pro. Then, when you launch PrPro and open your project, the program will recreate both of these files. There are a small progress bar, that many do not notice. Let him finish 100%, before even touching the computer. Test.

I hope it's as simple as that.

    Good luck

  • sequence right and export of settings in Premiere Pro CS6, video with still images

I am trying to run a video on my site (self hosted). This video, made with Premiere Pro CS6, consists of still images with different video effects.

This video is just 50 seconds, but when I have this turn in the format mp4, webm and ogg, get large files and the quality is not good.

Could you please guide me to find good sequence and export of settings in Premiere Pro CS6 to get a video for the best possible quality on the web?

A precise description of the parameters would be great.

    Thank you

    Silvia

To export, set the resolution that you want to use on the web.

Make the sequence of parameters in a way to export these settings

  • Premiere Pro CS6 is listed in the creative cloud but can not use it.

How you use Premiere Pro CS6 trial that is listed as download under creative cloud?

Premiere Pro CS5 version is ONLY for a 64-bit computer

  • Export of media in Premiere Pro CS6 ONLY produces an Audio file in Media Encoder

First of all, all the System Info:

Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1

Intel HD Graphics 3000 graphics card

    I use the first Pro CS6 Version 6.0.5 (001 (MC: 264587)) «Mighty Kilt»

    Version 6.0.3.1 (64-bit) Adobe Media Encoder cs6

Other Adobe applications: AIR, creative cloud, Download Assistant, Encore CS6 Library, 12 ActiveX of Flash Player, Flash Player Plugin from 12, Manager help, Premiere Pro CS6, Premiere Pro CS6 functional Content, reader XI

I ran on Premiere Pro and Media Encoder updates and everything is up-to-date

I produce a two disc double layer DVD for 100 families of my sons of fanfare.

I have half an hour "masterpiece" of interviews, segments of performance, rehearsal sequences, credits, etc. that I edited complete set with sound, etc.

I also have various other video segments of the season, a high quality (1920 x 1080) and a decline in quality.

Rather than import in yet and have yet to transcode all the same quality, I wanted to make sure the piece of half an hour and some other segments were transcoded in highest possible quality and given the large size of the files that I could and then transcode other segments at lower levels of quality as it is necessary so all the space on the disks.

The company I use to duplicate/replicate the 100 DVDs of my DVD Master advised me to encode them FIRST in Premiere Pro as you wish and THEN import these files into yet.

I used Adobe Media encode a lot to export the individual segments in the files, I could upload it to Youtube and have had no problems for several months.

    But now, two things happen:

    (1) SOUL automatically designates the file 'exit' with an extension .aac (see table)

    (2) when I do a file "import under" soul encoded in still won't load an audio file (obviously)

    Huh?

Here are the settings I use in my export media dialog in Premiere Pro CS6:

    Format: MPEG2-DVD

    Screening: NTSC widescreen high quality

Out of name (and the file type): _ name with like kind of video Files (*.mpg) «»

Boxes to "Export video" so much "Export Audio" is checked (see attached screen print)

The filters tab: on the left as is, don't do anything here

    Multiplexer tab:

    • Click on the button "DVD" (vs. the "None" button)
    • Bitrate type: left as Variable that matches what is selected by default

    Video tab:

    • Codec: Reads MainConcept MPEG video
    • Quality: increase it up to 5
    • TV standard: NTSC
    • Frame rate: 29.97
    • Field order: no (progressive)
    • Pixel Aspect ratio: screen 16:9 wide
    • Go to maximum depth box checked
    • Encoding Bitrate: I choose CBR for my high quality segments and VBR 2 pass for my segments of lower quality
    • Bitrate: kick up to max to high quality segments, adjust as required to obtain the size of the file that I want for my lower segments of quality

    Audio tab:

    • Audio format: Dolby Digital
    • Codec: Dolby Digital
    • Bitrate: 320 at least, sometimes higher for segments, I want to be the highest quality

I check the box of "quality to make Maximum usage.

I chose 'Tail' for everything and then let it run all night

And Yes, the original media has TWO a video track and audio track that works (see screenshot)

So... What am I doing wrong, useful experts?

A - ha! MPEG2 export formats missing in the SOUL is the key to the riddle. You have a license problem, possibly the one discussed here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4401451.

I'm not familiar with this issue and has not taken the time to read the pages that links Todd to-instead, I wanted to get the link for you as soon as POSSIBLE. If you have a problem directly solving the problem, I see two immediate options: 1) encode "in-process" by Premiere Pro by clicking 'Export' in the dialog box export settings (as opposed to the queue, which of course sends the job of the SOUL), or 2) to install the trial version of CC (aka 7.x).

  • Premiere Pro CS6 is no longer available?

    Hello

I have a client who is willing to burn me a DVD of their marriage, and I wanted to use again. However, I noticed that he was not a part of the cloud creative and discovered that it's included with Premiere Pro CS6. I had it installed on my computer, but has not yet had for some reason any. So I uninstalled Premiere Pro CS6 my computer, just to see if I would get the opportunity to install even if I reinstalled Premiere Pro CS6. But now, when I look into the creative cloud app, I can not even find Premiere Pro CS6 to install. I looked under the tabs 'Previous Version' so much 'find additional Apps', and it is not found. I will not be able to install more the Premiere Pro CS6 on my computer? Any help I can get would be appreciated, since I still have some projects I used CS6 with.

If you have a subscription for CC, then you also have the Premiere CS6 and again.

    How to find again:

  • Satellite l.660-12 q - would the recovery disk rebuild the new HARD disk with a new recovery partition

Talk about confusion. Does anyone know how to get a Toshiba C660 work after the HARD drive failed and the owner has stupidly NOT followed the instructions to make a recovery disk. Will be the recovery disk (if buy you one from Toshiba) rebuild the new HARD disk with a new recovery partition and install windows 7 (original OS) and accept the product key printed on the Windows license, attached to the base of the laptop. I have read a number of suggestions, but these have been considered incorrect by others.

Surely, Toshiba must have a way to sort this problem.

    They read these messages?

    Hey Buddy

I don't think it's really complicated, that I could find all the information about the recovery procedure in the user's manual

The recovery disk must be created on the first day of purchase its recommended to create one in case something would be wrong with the HARD drive.

The recovery disk contains an image. The image is a package containing Win system, drivers, tools and all the stuff pre-installed on the notebook.
You bought the laptop and the system has already been activated so that you have need of t the key placed at the bottom of the unit.
In addition, the use of the recovery disc formats the drive HARD integer (partitions too) and set the laptop in the same condition as at the first day of the purchase.

There is also another option to recover the notebook called HARD drive recovery. This HARD drive recovery requires no recovery disk. The recovery disc HARD would be to use format ONLY partition C (System).
