After a very long wait to say loading Office

This is an update to win7 pro win7 and it's real,

Type stuck

Thank you

I don't see any problem in your report. everything looks good

I assume that you have installed the technology Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver.

I have my Win 7 DVD, but there is no way to indicate to the system on my product key.  I'm stuck on a blue screen.

After seeing another suggestion to use MGAdiag, I created a new boot disk and it linked the diag.  The output is cryptic, so I guess that I have validated only my new installation and there is no obvious way to point to the other disk.  But the output is lower.

  • New SSD in T430, Windows does not, tried everything...

    Hello

I bought a T430 a week ago. I'm not completely inept with computers: I have successfully added an another 4 GB of RAM with no problems.

Then I wanted to replace my HDD with my SSD. I know that the SSDS works because he was in another laptop. I put it in an external dock; It hooked up to my T430. He allowed. I kept safe backup HARD drive, I used several times since then. I also did a recovery of Windows on a CD disc.

I cloned the HARD drive on my SSD using EaseUS software and said to make it bootable. It didn't for me, so I blamed the software.

Then I used Acronis True Image to make a bootable copy of my setup on a USB key. I turned on the computer with just the SSD (empty) and tried to load the USB key. My computer does not recognize the bootable copy of white point. Everything takes back me to a screen asking me which drive I want to start since several times.

Good then, I said, clone the HDD to the SSD and try the bootable USB. Has done this, but it had no effect. Same problem as above.

Okay okay, let's try a new installation on the SSD using the recovery disk. That's when the real fun happens. I get to the menu on the theme of Lenovo System Recovery, and I click Next. Then I get a warning message saying "this version of the System Recovery Options is not compatible with the version of Windows that you want to repair. Try to use a recovery disc that is compatible with this version of Windows. What? I did only this morning. I don't think that the main Windows updates has been since then! (Just in case, I made an even more recent recovery disc tonight. I had the same error).

Then I erased the SSD and tried the recovery on the own SSD disk. Same mistake once again. Recovery disks do not work, the system does not recognize the USB copy and the SSD cloned (and allegedly boot-loan) does not start.

What is going on? All I'm doing is replace my with my SSD HARD drive and running Windows 7. I don't think it would be this hard

    Some additional points:

-I'm inserting readers. The computer can read it is a series of 840 Samsung SSD.

-There is no problem with the USB. My office can read very well and sees that there are 29GB of stuff there.

-J' have changed the boot order in the BIOS to load the disk USB (or CD) first.

-J' disabled the safe boot option in the BIOS.

-J' tried UEFI, inheritance, etc. etc., mixture of both.

-Yes, it's a legitimate copy of Windows. It came with the computer a week ago. There is [i] might [/ i] a question I try to reinstall Windows 7 on SSD, but the only recovery disks that come with the computer are Windows 8... but then how do I get Win 7 on my SSD?

-J' looked for in the forums. None of the solutions proposed (for most listed above) have worked.

Any help would be appreciated, people.

I had one extra hiccup. The disc of Windows 7 could not find the product key for activation/product on the BIOS. Couldn't any semi-douteux program I downloaded. So I could not allow Windows 7.

I called Lenovo. They said it was my fault for using disks of Windows recovery instead of Lenovo recovery disks. (God forbid! It really should not matter. It is a terrible approach the part of Lenovo who their initial recovery disks gave me an error about the licenses, but yet they apparently do not support the Windows stocks recovery disks.) In any case, after that I said to the officer - in my polite way - that it is a ridiculous scenario, she offered to send me Lenovo recovery disks.

I agreed. They arrived today. I reinstalled Windows and now everything works fine.

In the case where someone reads this thread in the future: ask Lenovo will send you recovery disks Win 7 Pro and use after the installation of the SSD. It considerably facilitates the process.

  • HP DV8t: Problems of migration origin to new SSD HD Win7 OS.

    Hi all!

I have a laptop HP DV8t. The laptop computer was purchased with Windows 7 64-bit and 2 x 500 GB hard drives. I would like to replace the hard drive with a 80 GB Intel SSD.

Immediate problem, it's that I can just install Windows 7 on SSD because the recovery disks will not accept a smaller than 500 GB HARD drive.

    What I've done so far:

Fact reset factory + formatted hard drives.

Replaced with SSD 80 GB secondary hard drive, then the Acronis Migrate tool used to clone the content of the main drive to SSD.

Put SSD drive as primary drive, replace (empty) 500 GB secondary drive.

Problem: when connecting, I get a blue screen that says "this version of windows is not original" and can't do anything.

I try again. Repeat the process until the SSD as drive, but now as secondary drive, put the drive of 500 GB (with BONES) where I cloned the operating system.

No blue screen during the connection. Things seem to be ok, I see the windows logo on the SSD drive in my computer so assume that windows runs on the SSD. Problem: Now the windows installer will not work. Most of the programs are not installed, which gives an error to windows installer. I can't update the installer online because it is now suspended indefinitely. Also I can't update things such as .net framework (more error installation). This essentailly means that the laptop does not work because I can't run anything on this subject.

All the tips are greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    Saladin

It works and notice I said 'will' and not 'must '. It should work though, as I've done it before.

Download the ISO of Windows 7 Home Premium files and create the W7 installation disc (burn) a detail of W7.

    http://www.mydigitallife.info/official-Windows-7-SP1-ISO-from-Digital-River/

Version what ever you use it must match what the computer came with, so your W7 product key will work on the underside of the laptop.

If you need help with burning ISO files or make the drive, post again _ don't forget to verify the disc after burning or it won't work.

Follow this tutorial to install W7.

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/OperatingSystems/SS/Windows-7-clean-install-part-1.htm

The tutorial has you erase the drive to install W7 on, it is important to remove the entire disk, not just format it. After you remove the drive to let the W7 disk format automatically, don't do it yourself.

In your case, you have made such a mess trying to install W7, you must use the W7 installation disc to remove all information damaged on the drive. If there are any partitions on the disk, delete those too. You'll end up creating "Unallocated" space on the entire disk, and that's what you want.

Continue Setup and install it as a trial, when it's done, right click on "Computer" and select "Properties".

At the bottom of this page to find 'change product key '. A click on it and follow the directions to enter the product key for the laptop.

The instructions above are very important so follow them exactly or it won't work. It will take about 20 minutes to install W7 and 2 hours to download the ISO from Digital River files.

    First, install your chipset driver.

Start the automatic driver finder to install the most recent.

    http://www.Intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect?IID=dc_iduu

He'll also find one for your Intel WiFi card as appropriate.

Then install your video driver, here a direct from NVIDIA.

    http://www.nvidia.com/object/notebook-Win7-WinVista-64bit-296.10-WHQL-driver.html

Install the rest of your drivers here.

    http://Forum.NotebookReview.com/HP-drivers-software-Forum/404164-drivers-HP-DV6-2xxx-dv7-3XXX-DV8-HDX16-HDX18-Intel.html

Also, install technology Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver from the link above.

Install the drivers in the order that I posted to them. If you need help with the rest of the drivers or get the hot key bezel to work (bass and treble _ volume _ eject) and then validate again.

Do not use the command utility of tone on your support page, it is corrupted and it will not solve HP.

In all cases, save the installation on the desktop files and install them from there, not in a temporary folder.

You don't have secondary hard disk, none of this has nothing to do with it, it is only used as a storage drive. When you follow the tutorial it will show up there (you'll see what I mean, when you get there), just ignore it and only deal with your new SSD.

I have a dv8 so I know exactly what to do.

  • New SSD 830 of Samsung installed not quite 'reason '.

Thanks in advance Gadgetman65 (Newby and very old)

    Hi Gadgetman65,

Welcome to the community Microsoft and thanks for posting the question.

According to the description, it looks like you are facing a problem with the windows operating system 7.

He would be grateful if you can answer this question in order to help you further.

    1. you perform a new installation on the new SSD?

    2. How are the drivers connected?

    3. what ports are they attached to the motherboard?

The drivers are detected as plug-and-play players for the moment which could be due to some miss-configuration in the drives connected to the motherboard.

I suggest you to download and update the readers of Chipset and any firmware update available for the SSD for SALE on the site of the factory.

Note: If you are unsure of the settings of the motherboard I suggest you to consult the computer manual or check with the manufacture of the system.

Note: Changing the BIOS / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

If you have any other questions or you need Windows guru, do not hesitate to post your questions and we will be happy to help you.

  • Burning Image files of DVD on Qosmio G20 using Norton Ghost backup?

    Hello

I have Norton SystemWorks Premier which includes Ghost v.10. Try as I might, I can't burn an Image of my hard drive to the DVD Ghost v.10 is supposed to be compatible with RAID-0, which I use. The drive from DVD-RAM UJ-845 s is listed as being supported by ghost.

The image is quite small... can't remember the exact size (less?), but it's just the BONE more office and some other applications, so that windows and update Office 80 or more required after reinstalling the recovery disc. There is no user files (Docs, films, music, etc.) which I backup by simply copying to DVD. I have no problem burning the Image file on my drive C: (which would be pretty useless in a collision).

Norton Support led me through the hoops, with no resolution. They suggest that I have buy third-party DVD burning software (Nero is their recommendation) to burn the Image of the c: to DVD, or buy a USB hard drive and see if it works. What a COP out!

I wonder if anyone has had any chance of burning the Images to backup directly to DVD with Ghost, Acronis, etc.. It seems to be a necessity when the Image on the recovery disk is now hopelessly obsolete (and loaded with stuff I don't want or need).

    Any advice will be appreciated.

    Hi Allan

You are not able to burn this image on a DVD because of the size of the image!
The 10 GB are too! The DVD runs approximately 4.7 GB and you will not be able to burn 10 GB on the DVD.

I created a file of image on the second partition, and if something goes wrong I can restore the partition C all from the D partition where saving the image file.

  • Qosmio F60 - new SSD now will not appear in the BIOS or at the Win7 Installation

I recently bought a new OCZ Vertex 4 128 GB Solid State Drive to upgrade my PC laptop Toshiba Qosmio F60 with.

After that I installed it first of all, it has been detected immediately in both the bios and during the installation of Windows 7. However, for some reason any approximately 40% of the way through installation, the computer restarts and the drive has disappeared since the BIOS all together and now, after several reboots it does not always detect!

Note that I already have the latest version of the BIOS installed on my laptop V2.70

I'm not sure what I would do here and any help would be appreciated?

Can you please set BIOS to default settings and check if the SSD is recognized in the BIOS again?
    > Please note that I already have the latest version of the BIOS installed on my laptop V2.70
In my opinion it is not relevant at all.

  • I use a new computer and now the ipod syncs not all songs because there is not enough space despite it showing 23 GB free.

Have a new laptop. RELOADED iTunes library and allowed the computer. now, it not sync due insufficient free space. Necessary additional GB. It is projection 23 GB free.

The following steps should solve the problems around the synchronization, assuming that all the content you want in your library.

(If it isn't see recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device)

    1. Backup device.
    2. Restoration as a new device.
    3. Restore the backup that you made earlier.

NB. A feature introduced with iOS 9 called thinning or slicing app app allows each device to download just the code and resources required by this device, resulting in smaller downloads and a better use of the storage on the device. Therefore the device is no longer the universal version of the application that can be installed on any device to transfer applications is no longer supported. I hope that Apple will bring some changes to how it works, but in the meantime, you can download past purchases from iTunes or activate the automatic shopping app downloads to ensure that iTunes has always the apps you want on your device. As long as you make sure that all of the apps are present and updates in iTunes before you attempt a restore there should be no loss of data. I cannot confirm, but it seems a way to recent update all data are restored and apps that are not in the library are waiting to download from the iTunes Store over Wi - Fi, in a similar way to the restoration of the iCloud way works.

  • Still waiting new firmware and now my computer is not recognizing my opinion.

Well, I sent the service to the customer, without promising real response to indicate when, if ever, the new firmware has to be stopped.

In the meantime, a week ago my computers started to not recognize my opinion market, including a few error messages that I had never gotten before in Windows Media Player 10.  I followed the steps described in the Sansa support FAQ section.  Tried emailing sansa. Today they tell me to roll back Windows Media Player 11 for Windows Media Player 10 (which I already use).

The solution? Admitting defeat.  A renounced envy the rest of devices non-Sansa to my family.

    I already bailed him out.

Bought another brand. (Rhymes with COD).  It works well. I would like to the screen were as large as the view and the wheel is not quite as easy to use the view, but those which are minor compromise in my opinion, uh, I mean advice.  Rewind crisp and precise.  Fastforwards, well, quickly (a minute of the key gets me 35 minutes instead of 8 minutes with the view forward, and there is a way to achieve even faster than that).

    So far and good luck.

    • If your laptop uses the Realtek HD audio drivers then try to update the Realtek HD audio drivers for the last one is on the site Web of Realtek (who seems to have a lot of later Toshiba support site). After updating to the latest Realtek HD drivers, open the DD Realtek Audio Manager and enable "Loudness equalization.

  • Could get a new router block printing? We had a lot of problems with the computer in the last week and a half. Bought new router and now the printer does not print. :-(

    (1) we went to DirecTV. Then the same day, our internet computer is down. I asked our current provider, Suddenlink, to let them know we had them to another - but we wanted to keep for the internet.

    (2) called DirecTV to investigate why our internet went down at the same time they installed? They said that they did nothing to cause that. We waited 5 days to make out and also install the third TV that was promised. The second tech gave things a lookover and said, once again, that there is nothing unusual during their passage to cause the problem.

    (3) called Suddenlink. They said it was the router. Called the people of Netgear. They said that the router was too old. We needed to pay an exorbitant sum for support and when I told him I'd rather just buy a new router and get free technical support for 90 days... and I personally do not have the credit cards in that time. (it's my mother s equip and I wonder it for the computer) when the guy told me that he could help and hung up on us, even though I was pleading for him to wait until I put my mother on the phone. (I'm in my 40s... not a kid).

    (4) Suddenlink called a few days later, when we got a new router (netgear brand NO!) Installed and I noticed that the 'ready' light was not 'on' on the modem. Their technology has said that he would check and call us in a few minutes. He did not.

    (5) the next day I called Suddenlink AGAIN. This time, I got a really nice customer service agent. She said she would send someone to check on it. It turns out that they had disconnected when I had called to pass only the TV.

    (6) in any case, we are finally online... only now... I can't the printer to work. :-(  This has worked before.  Could it be caused by the different router? I don't know about these things. I didn't even know what it was until someone at Radio Shack has explained to me. (I was not about to buy one at Wal-Mart - these poor people). The printer is a Canon Pixma MX340. We love him. The only thing is that it is difficult to clear the tasks or to reset. The only way to really do that is to simply pull the plug, unfortunately and restart the computer. But hey, it's a great printer, better than HP.

We are under vista. The router is a Linksys wifi (which we have) N300 model E900.

Of course I appreciate any help you can give. God bless you!

    Michelle and Ruth.

  • Is it possible to reinstall Vista OEM on the HP laptop after using the Norton Ghost software?

    Hello

I'm in a bit of trouble. Please help me. In 2007, I bought a HP laptop which of course came with a preinstalled Windows Vista. My friend did a back-up for me using Norton Ghost. Now I do not use Ghost. I would like to re - install Windows Vista on a CD and save by using the product key given in the back of my knees (OEM - his name I guess). Since I use all the same material I hope it will be accepted but I'm not sure. My question is if it will work? Is it legal this Windows already registered in my name for 3.5 years. Please help me and answer me.

It is also possible to download Windows Vista from www.microsoft.com?
    Thanks in advance.
    Kind regards.
    Abid.

As long as you use the same reinstall OEM or restore DVD (Vista is too big to fit on a CD) initially provided with the laptop, you will have no problem.

  • Change to new SSD startup disk

    Hello

I have reformatted my C drive, reinstalled Vista Home premium x 64 with all updates, and then installed a few essential programs.  then I copied the disc to my new SSD using Norton Ghost.  Then, I set the BIOS to boot from the new SSD.

    good so far.

However, I can't figure out how to call her as drive C:-I believe it starts on the SSD, but seems to work after that of the old C drive.

Can I just change the names of readers autour somehow in order to cook the new SSD, the new C: drive?  Vista doesn't seem to let me but I tried the following:

-deletion of connections sata/IDE for all other readers, including optics, thinking this will force the Bios to recognize the SSD (single drive) than the C drive.  but his "Master IDE disk error" returns - even if no IDE hard drive is connected.  And I thought that the master/slave thing does not apply to SATA.

This could be as simple as install directly to the new drive, but I have a fresh clean image that I love.  and updates have taken a week.

    Thanks for any help

One thing: you can not have 2 install Vista on a machine when you only have one license.

And Vista automatically takes the letter of C: drive.

    You use Norton Ghost.
